There was no hallway air conditioning so it was like a sauna when you stepped out of your room. Cockroaches in the bathroom. Not very friendly

The property has no elevator to upper floors, so drag you 50 lb suitcase and other baggage up the stairs. Second, the instant I walked in the room I encountered a strong scent of urine in the room, as if someone had peed on the carpeting. I suffer from asthma and my throat started closing within the first minute of being in the room with the door closed, which indicated to me that the room was compromised for allergins. I certainly could not sleep there. I walked outside into the hall, and using my cell phone, I booked a room at a different, higher-price hotel and carried my bags back to the car and left. I was not sorry about losing my $107 by not staying, it was a cheap way to learn a lesson.

The location was first rate. Being on the 41 gave us easy access to many locations in Sarasota. There were many restaurants within a few minutes walk or drive. Having a PUBLIX directly across the street was a big plus. The facility itself was undergoing renovation, but everything was still accessible, including the spotless swimming pool. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was spotless. The housekeeping was first rate. The AC worked perfectly and the cable service on the TV was excellent. The only issue was that the King matress, although still useable did need to be replaced with a new unit.

If you're looking for a cheap place to stay the night I guess it's doable. Pros: good safe location, free parking, close to restaurants, across from a Publix, AC worked good, lots of parking, refrigerator, microwave, and no roaches. Cons: Towels were like sandpaper, no coffee machine in room, free breakfast consists of coffe, orange juice, milk, toast, and waffles out of a box. Bed covers look like they've been there since the 70's, mattress was hard, toilet was tiny, and short. No AC in the hallways. It's a motel what can I say. But they could do better. Needs to be updated big time. It's in a good location just not by the beach.

The highlight was the friendly staff and pool area. Dont have high expectations for the price but the exterior of the building is better than the very very old and in places dirty interior of halls and rooms. Bathroom door had dirty hand marks on inside so cleaning questionable….beds were clean and comfortable though…

No place to sit out side to visit other guest and family , only pool area which closed at 5:00 pm. The view of room is taco bell parking lot, So must request pool side room (option never given ) And rooms were empty that faced pool , Family lives on property no privacy, Also has several homeless people staying in rooms, and asking for money in pool area. $100.00 room key deposit for each key which does not get refunded till 7-10 after check out, The breakfast was bead in zip lock bags and boxed cereal, frozen waffles and only seats 8 people hotel holds over 60est. visitors DONT GO HERE

The room was not truly clean, markes on the wall, shower needs to be redone. Bed was very uncomfortable. the two chair in the room were very hard. According to my husband the place was a PIT. Would never stay there again.

This hotel was the wisest hotel I ever stay, very dirty, did not even wanted to touch anything, windows and doors so dirty you barley can see through. Smell in the hallway horrible. I would never ever will recommend to anyone to book this hotel. Breakfast was a joke, I have no words.

The furniture could have come from Goodwill. It was battered and dented. The chair was dirty and I was afraid to sit in it. Worse yet, the room had an odor of dead fish. I complained to the front desk their solution was to hand me a can of Febreze. When I asked for another room and was told that there were none. They told me that I would be moved the next day. The room I was moved into was next door and smelled just as bad. Needless to say, I did not stay there for the second night. Fortunately, I was only billed for the night I did stay and even that was an overcharge. This is barely a 1 star hotel. My recommendation - Do not stay here!!

Very basic accommodations. Room was clean, the wi-fi was free, there was a microwave and a nicely sized refrigerator. My room had a window with a cracked, but not broken pane. Price was OK, considering it was season, and the Christmas holiday. For a brief visit back to Sarasota, I would stay there again, adjusting my expectations to what I know.

We checked in, went to our room. It smelled like smoke. We asked to get a new room. The receptionist was nice and accommodating, she walked us around the hotel and showed us 2 other different rooms before we got to our final room. All three rooms smelled like fresh smoke. One of them smelled like weed. I couldn’t stay there with my child. The final room we settled in didn’t smell too horrible, but AC in the room wasn’t working. The location was next to a busy Taco Bell drive through and they shared the same parking lot. I genuinely wasn’t feeling easy about staying at this room at that moment, so I decided to forgo what I already paid, and we drove back to Orlando. I know, I was thinking it’s just a room to sleep in, but it wasn’t safe or comfortable. Beware.

When you check out they will check your room to make sure everything is intact then you get your $50 back inside of the room was clean beds were comfortable the hotel is a little dated, but it was comfortable enough for one night Publix was across the street Taco Bell was on the property bed was comfortable

The place is okay for overnight two days.my shower didn't work unless I wiggle it till it came on and it was loose.. housekeeping was good made The bed everyday,the one lady was rude I had to ask her how to get the shower on

This motel was what we expected and paid for. It’s outdated and the carpet had a smell. It served its purpose for our one night stay. We arrived an hour and a half early and our room wasn’t ready. But we were in a hurry to get dressed for a wedding. The front desk lady sent three workers to clean our room for us. They had it ready in 15 minutes. This was above and beyond, and greatly appreciated!!!

At 5:45 in the morning while sitting in my room alone (I am 52yo woman), my door was unlocked and started to open. I yelled NO and the person left. The latch stopped the door from opening the door too far. I called the front desk—I was shaken. A very calm woman said she hadn’t made any key cards for my room. As if I was making it up. The afternoon worker also said I must have given a key to a friend. I was traveling alone and only had one key made. I feel no sense of trust in they key card setup at this hotel.

Check in was great, i chose that hotel for the price and only 10 minutes from siest key beach. The room was clean but smelled weird and odd. Wife and i couldn't place what it was. It wasn't pleasant but wasn't horrible either. The breakfast was very um different. Lil boxs of cereal. A mini fridge with a gallon of milk and gallon of o.j. eggis and bread in baggies. But what really was a turnoff was contractors doing roofing work on a Sunday morning and before 8am. Was not pleased with that.

Smell smoke everywhere, AC turned off so smelled humidity. I got nausea in my bed before falling asleep. Breakfast included but not appreciable. Cereals, frozen waffles, not bread when I came downstairs. Does not worth the price and your health. I am glad I stayed only one night. Next to a Publix and very good situated tho. Woman at the front desk nice.

Horrendous all around. Employees were nice enough though. Tv was old and of poor quality. Bathroom was gross. Pillows and blankets were awful. The free breakfast was comical. Only good thing is it was right across the street from Publix.
