The hotel was very nice. The pool was great. The pool attendants were great! The hotel was clean! The hotel had a huge size fridge and microwave and also provided water, popcorn and Nespresso coffee in the room. There was places to read, swing and even play table games. So don’t forget to bring your cards and games. Also bring to make s’mores, there’s a pit that can be used. All together great for adults and families. There is a private adult pool and jacuzzi.

Great staff / service and at a level comparable to Four Seasons Luxury. Pros: 1. Good car building parking. 2. Auto EV chargers (4) at ~ 9kW ( trickle ) from Blink Charge. $0.24/kWhr ( $0.13 is lowest I have seen in Orlando and Tampa / Sarasota 3. Great service. 4. Two nice pools. 5. Amazing sand and sandy beach and good for safe family swimming with close adult supervision. 6. Great 8th floor restaurant with amazing “Gulf” and sunset views for dinner and a breakfast ( 7 am to 11 am ). Good Tiki bar and cafe. 7. Diesel generator on 3 third floor of garage and tested daily for 30 mins. 8. Circle shops within 0.70 mile and public Trolley stops at beach parking / bathrooms next door. By far the most beautiful resort in the area, and within walking distance to the circle (.9 miles). Great for families but would also come back with my husband. Tiki bar was great and easy for a nice lunch. Would recommend an ocean-facing room for a special occasion.

The Lido Beach Resort is a beautiful property on one of the most spectacular beaches in Florida. We splurged on a beachfront room and we were so glad we did. The free shuttle service provided by the resort made off-property activities stress free and easy. We will definitely be repeat customers!

Beautiful resort situated on breathtaking Lido Beach. Loved the added touch that you can use the resort and it's facilities after you check out. My husband and I were able to take a shower in the gym after enjoying the beach after we checked out of the resort. Thank you for this added bonus! We loved the resort and its' amazing staff!

Great place. Fabulous food and drinks at both Tiki Bar and Drift. Wonderful outdoors areas for sitting, pool, and Lido Beach. Wonderful place. Walk to St. Armand’s Circle for shopping and restaurants.

Our experience was the Bathroom was not clean when we arrived and needed to ask for it to be serviced again on arrival. The shower water went everywhere when taking a shower and even though the room had been updated it felt rundown. I think there is much better value for money in the area.

I think it was way overpriced. I found 2 roaches. 1 dead in th ebathroom and another one alive in the kitchen area. Lots of places in the room very rusty, especially in the bathroom very nasty. In the kitchen area rotten wood between the refrigerator. Nasty. Way overpriced for the condition of the rooms.

Pool/gulf view is a must. Very nice, but pricey. Sliding glass door very, very hard to move. Shower water temp was way to hot, and could not be cooled with the regulating handle. We did not ask for a handicap accessible shower/bath, but got one. Did note care for the old tile floor, which looked dirty. The beach is really nice, with reasonable fees. Not overcrowded. The pool/gulf view overshadows most small issues.

Love location and beach area. Tiki Tower two doubles. Early check in was available. Self park available with free beach next to lot. Rooms a little aged. Beds very comfortable. Beach is really beautiful. Umbrella’s for beach $15. Hotel supplies beach towels. St Armand shuttle very convenient and runs until 10 pm. Cleaning service was at 10 one day and then next day 2:45 pm so kinda confusing. Floors really need to be mopped. Overall good just needs some updates. Dinner at Drift was good with great view but $$$. Mini kitchen nice to save on food/drinks.

During our last stay here we were in the newer tower rooms which were excellent. This time we were in the main building with not so nice rooms and a bathroom you can barely turn around in. Not good for the price we paid. I would stay here again but only if I could guarantee a decent room in the other building.

The staff is very kind. Avoid the Tiki Tower. Book the Palm Tower. It’s beautiful. The resort is well kept but the Tiki Tower is not on par with the rest of the resort. That “Tower” has a 2-star hotel vibe. I made the mistake of booking the Tiki Tower. The room had a few issues and was overall just not what we were expecting. Thankfully we were able to move to the Palm Tower and it was much more in line with the quality and vibe we were expecting. The staff was very understanding and accommodating.

The floor wasn't very clean. Rest of room was fine. Did not like having an adjoining door to the next room. Could hear very thing going on. had to contact front desk at mid night because of a very loud group of girls in the next room. It was taken care of quickly.

Was given a room and as we opened our room door a family was already in it . Very much a bad situation and experience to be in. Not a very good start .. Also, wasn’t aware that resort guests had to make reservations for the resort restaurant.. disappointed and should have been an automatic option when booking . Nevertheless, our first experience was good but expected better out of a resort hotel.

I liked that the pictures look exactly like the property. Beautiful beach and very clean neat rooms. The Drift restaurant on the property was top notch. There was a bus to take you to St. Armand's Circle for free. We didn't wait long for going or return. Would definitely stay again!

absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location is fantastic – just a short walk to the beach, where you can enjoy the sound of the waves and relax in the sun. Lido Beach is our favorite place. We have stayed at some higher end locations in Sarasota, but they just don’t compare because Lido is directly on the beach. We would recommend it to anybody.

This is a recently rehabbed “motel” that has transformed itself into a high-end beachfront resort in a very nice part of Sarasota. The restaurant on the eighth floor of the new tower is outstanding, and has spectacular views up and down the Gulf Coast. Highly recommended.
