It was quiet and easy to get to. Free parking and enough parking that we did not have to worry if there would be a spot when we returned. It was near what we need to be near. Pool is small but was not busy so was perfect for us. Only downfall is no balcony or place to sit outside. Bar and restaurant made good food. I would stay there again.

Trash cans did not have bag liners. Never refilled sugar stirrer napkin pkts. Mattress has collapsed, 22 days later and still not replaced. Internet goes off and on every five to ten minutes. The elevators have been out a few weeks.Mgmt says it could take weeks more. Rarely is someone there to assist with your baggage.

Voco was an excellent choice for a night away from home. The service was top-notch, with a staff that was truly accommodating. Exceptional location with a shuttle that takes you where ever within 3 miles. I want to give a special shout-out to Rich and Tiffany, who went above and beyond to share their favorite local spots for dining and entertainment. Overall. I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend Voco!

Nice Hotel in the center of town. Breakfast, which is included, is a $35 coupon for the restaurant. A lot of excellent choices. They provide free rides around town and bicycles. Pool and gym are nice. I would definitely return.

I had an incredible stay at Voco. The shower was absolutely amazing—spacious with top-quality products that made it feel like a spa. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room itself was large, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The staff were wonderful, so friendly and attentive. They even provided us with beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this hotel.

Staff was very nice and the location was great . We liked the shuttle service and lots to do around the area. However the cleaning crew and do a better job cleaning and disinfecting the rooms.

Room seemed clean and updated especially bathroom all good but found ants alive running around on the desk area countertop below the tv. Also a wall full of dust behind the bed half inch thick. That was gross. No wonder I kept sneezing all night.

Staff at hotel were very friendly and helpful! Overpriced for the quality. Don’t know where the sewer smell on floor 2 and in my bathroom was coming from. Hotel didn’t have coffee pods (they ran out) in my room for 2 days. Reminded me of staying in an average motel. I’ll be getting back to Expedia to challenge my hotel bill (front desk said that they had no control since I booked thru Expedia). I feel I was charged more than the agreed Expedia. Room Bill was nearly $665 for just 2 nights for one person, one king. No amenities,l. Way over priced. Only people I saw were airline employees staying at hotel.

They need to spend some time teaching manager and front desk team how to be sure they cover hotel details with clients when checking in. WiFi sign on asks for room number, last name, and a code. However, if you enter a last name it will reject everything else. No one conveyed this to us. Called front desk twice with no answer at 7:30pm to get this info. Went down stairs for a third time to retrieve this information. Manager never apologized just kept saying “ Mmm- Hmm”….”well, they should have explained that to you!” Very condescending. The other two times I had to go down to desk: checked in…went to room…none of the keys worked! Had to go back down and get keys properly synced. We went to dinner and let them know HVAC was not working…79 degrees in the room even when set at 71. Come back from dinner, room still 79 degrees. No text…no message…no call in status. Call front desk and they say “Oh - we are switching your room! Come down and get your keys.” …(really??)…had gotten drenched in a downpour and just wanted a hot shower… now we are packing up our stuff and moving!… (couldn’t call and let us know??….couldn’t bring us the keys??)…NO - back downstairs I go only to have the manager be condescending! The front desk teams were friendly and helpful, but not trained on providing real service. Bartender was excellent and cocktails were good. Breakfast wait staff was great and very attentive. Food was good and lots of choices. Coffee needs some work….a little watered down&bitter

Stayed at this hotel because it supposedly had good reviews. If all the rooms were like mine, I’m not sure why. Furniture, despite being well over $200 per night (plus resort fees), had the equivalent of IKEA white laminate furniture and dorm-style basket drawers instead of dresser. Laminate veneer edging on table was sticking out in two places. Maintenance came up and glued one piece (messy job) but I had to request a return visit for the other piece. The second time they stuck a piece of Command adhesive strip between the table and edge, and it looked really awful. Sink was also clogged and very slow to drain, so had to get maintenance to fix that, too. Empty Kleenex holder box and no spare roll of toilet paper. Of course, there were no writing materials or comment cards to leave a note/request. The AC was noisy and had a rattling noise - very annoying. After I had to complain each of three nights I stayed, front desk finally reduced the price slightly for one night. (Most places would have comped at least one night for all the issues.) I would not stay here again. They really need to pay better attention to the attention/ condition of their rooms and monitor the maintenance service better. For the price I paid, I expected much better. Does not compare favorably to other hotels in the same price range. Very disappointing.

The hotel staff (Maria front desk and Rich shuttle driver) set the standard for how guest should be treated. Maria greeted us with a smile each time at the desk, provided us with essentials if needed, and pertinent information about the area. We rented bicycles from the hotel and got stuck in a storm. Rich came immediately to pick myself and my daughter up. He loaded the bicycles and instructed us to stay under protection until he did so. He brought us towels to dry off in the van and instructed us to take hot showers when returned to avoid getting sick! True genuine concern was shown to me and my daughter. The other transport guy was really nice as well but I forget the name. The pool was rather small but that’s ok we spent most time at the beaches. The bicycle and beach chair rentals are an amazing perk in addition to the hotel shuttle (within 3 mile radius). Hotel is walkable to the Bayfront park and lido beach is only a 10 min drive in which you can take the shuttle. Also visited siesta key beach but had to uber there. The hotel was clean and housekeeping popped in promptly to tidy up and replenish essentials. Will recommend this hotel thanks so much Voco staff.

Great location, walkable to the harbor and main st area. We actually did 3 mile walk to dinner in St Armands and took free city shuttle back to main st. Hotel also had free bicycles which we used to explore 5 miles down the Legacy Trail

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel, parking was easy, checking in smooth and all staff we spoke to were very friendly. Our room was modern, clean and spacious. The location is excellent, it is walking distance to the main shopping and dining area and also walking distance to the marina. Lovely hotel, would recommend.

We picked the hotel mainly because of its good location. It's very close to the seashore and also close to bus lines that takes you to siesta beach. They also offer shuttle bus to Lido beach (and the driver is super nice). The surrounding area is also pretty safe, as we walked back to the hotel after 9 pm and didn't see any unfriendly people. The room is spacious and clean. I spent some extra money on purchasing the breakfast when I booked the room, which turned out to be a 35$ coupon. Their breakfast is freshly made bistro breakfast rather than the continental breakfast that you see in most hotel.

Check in was awful! There was only one person for 10 in line; felt so bad for Kia! Then finally, someone comes out to help after about 20/30 minutes. The room was ok, definitely need more cleaning in the bathroom. It was not clean…. Room 422. The breakfast we ordered next day, don’t… we had some one the worst food and no utensils… had to call downstairs to get some. Day old coffee. 2.5….

The Hotel is well located, very clean! Love the smell of the body lotion. The room was comfortable and clean, the only thing that wasn’t excellent was that the tv didn’t have connection of internet so only could watch national channels but no Netflix, YouTube, etc. Everything else was excellent including the restaurant, we loved the food!

This is an excellent hotel for visits to downtown Sarasota. It has a much more personal feel than other hotels in the area. The larger rooms are spacious and comfortable. The shower is superb, except lacking a safety grab bar. We had both breakfasts and a dinner in the restaurant, and the food was very good.
