We enjoyed great service as always from Joseph at the main dining for breakfast. There is very evident lack of staffing where there is no poolside service as in the past, have to get your own towels, no more shuttle to the beach, and for all this lack of service, they now add a $40.00 Daily Resort Fee. First day there we ordered food at the side of the bar, after signing and adding gratuity, was told I had to come back and get because not staffed to bring to me. Not sure if I would recommend after over twenty visits to this property for the last 25 years.

Had such a great time and didn’t have to leave the resort most of the time we were there. Food by the pool was amazing. It was so nice to go to the beach and not have to bring anything with us because it was all provided!

We had a nice long weekend at this Marriott. Rooms were large and nice. Staff was helpful and cheerful. Golf was great. My only negative comments are that the building is old and a little beat up and the pool was very crowded. Overall, a pleasant weekend.

Easy check-in, very clean rooms, rooms, very spacious. Poolside bar was good. The menu was small, but we got a couple items and it was good, friendly staff. The paid breakfast on the weekends was a little expensive for what we could eat. But overall, the food was good. Very disappointed that the breakfast restaurant wasn’t open in the evening For dinner. Wanted to escape the heat of the day. The other small restaurant on the property only boosted the same food as the bar. Had to drive or Uber if you wanted a nice steak dinner or something like that. The golf cart service over to the beach was very nice. The staff was friendly.

Family enjoyed their stay, however we had a few issues. We were forced to change rooms due to mold/mildew smell in our first room. Also it would have been nice to have known ahead of time the main pool was under construction. Regardless a nice property.

We had such a bad experience at this hotel. We have been coming for years but this time I found the rooms to be dirty. They switched my room three times. One of the room had small cockroaches. The main pool is under construction. The ac was leaking. One of the guys from the front desk was very rude. The restaurant by the beach was good. The drinks and the staff were very nice but other than that, this place really disappointed us.

The property needs help. Mold, dirt, dead bugs, scratches, paint, stains….dirty air returns, fingerprints, graffiti…this is not what I would expect from Marriott. Ypur sign in restaurant has ‘gluten free OPTIONS sign on top of pastry bin. The ONLY gf option in restaurant was a piece of crumbly bread they had to fetch from 3rd floor and re wives at end of meal. I have 46 photos of the things that need attention from reception to my room. Not entire property. On top of this there were two wedding parties yelling until 2 am drunk in courtyard. Beach bars closed. Rained whole time and I paid a RESORT FEE?? You should have paid me to clean things-not charge me for mold, dirt, unattended courtyard with yelling until 2 am and half the resort closed. Not cool. I will send other 42 photos upon request.

Very good service. Views were good. Needs new patio furniture and the pools and jacuzzi needs to be updated. The pool and jacuzzi had huge stains on the bottom floor and sides. Not inviting at all.

Second time staying here, and the first time we stayed at the main building, which was very nice. Second, it was at the hotel that had beachfront front small condo-type rooms. The room was very nice; however, small roaches would come out if any food was left out. Even in the middle of the day. We left some Fruit out near lunch, went to the pool, and came back to find them crawling all over the kitchen. Husband killed a few in the bathroom too. It made my stay uneasy, I hate roches! I didn't complain because I figured it was the entire building; we had nowhere else to go. What could employees do anyways? The View was nice from the room and We enjoyed the pool.

Hotel description says on the beach and we booked a room with a view thinking it was a view of the beach. However, there are two properties. One which is not near the beach and one on the beach. Biew means view of the pool at the non beach property. You have to specifically book the room that says beach otherwise you’ll be staying at the non beach property. You have to take a good cart taxi to the beach. Also We got stuck in the elevator 3x on 3 different days. Not a great experience for the price.

Room was a good size. Description of what you book has a lot of marketing spin. Beachside means close to the beach. View was view of the parking lot. When I called to ask I was told ‘view of the sunset’. Booked a room with a balcony no chairs and very small. Planned to do breakfast with the sunrise - no chance. Be careful what you book-very misleading and staff spin the story.

Booked a king suite and they initially gave us a room with double beds. Only king room they had available was a ADA room, which we moved to because they said there was nothing else. There were no outlets near bathroom counter. Only outlet was by the toilet which made no sense.

One overnight stay with a beach view. Struggled to figure out where to check in on the property. Beach view was from the living room of the suite, but not the bedroom. Our bedroom window looked out on the hallway next to the elevators. I called to politely ask if a room change was possible to be able to see the beach from the bed which is what I thought I was paying for. Staff was a little rude and took a long time to see if anything else was available, only to tell us nothing was, even though property seemed relatively empty. Pool facilities were supposed to be available until 10pm. We went down to use the hot tub around 9pm. There were no towels, no towel attendant, and ugly netting up on a construction area right next to the hot tub. Pool bathrooms were already locked. The room was average, could use some touch up paint. We were encouraged to park in the “parking garage” under the building. The ceiling was so low that our truck almost didn’t fit. Room was clean, pillows were comfortable, mattress was decent. TV was extremely slow to respond to the remote. I doubt I would stay here again.

I enjoyed my beachfront stay! The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful! Rob who was a bartender was excellent with customer service and his drinks! The only thing that I didn’t like was waiting over 30 minutes for towels and beach chairs! I still didn’t get the service until A couple who was visiting actually went and got the towels and set up the beach chairs for me and my son! We had the guys at the tiki bar call for assistance but no one ever came! Other than waiting for towels and beach chairs, I really enjoyed my stay! Can’t wait to visit again! It’s so much more to explore on the property.

Have stayed at this property times. This was the first time since renovations. Arrived for our 1 night stay at 11am. Room was not ready which we understood. By 2pm still nothing. We had dinner plans at 5 and needed to start getting ready. I offered to upgrade or pay extra for any available room and still nothing. Finally 3:45 I asked to speak to a manager who miraculously found us a room. It was totally unacceptable.

Right on the beach we have been here before great for relaxing, on the other hand the customer service this time did not meet the regular standards and we have to call a few time front to get things done. Very disapointed on this stay

Great property in a good location on the Hutchinson Island beach. Rooms are huge, clean and comfortable. Pool and restaurants onsite are convenient. Good service, though we were not allowed to check in until the very last minute even though we arrived two hours prior.

The hotel was nice, clean and the staff was so friendly. The only thing the room was missing was a microwave. Otherwise, it's perfect. The beach is about a 15 min walk. The hotel offers a shuttle to and from the beach until 11pm. Pierre the driver, was so sweet. If you golf, there is a golf course on the hotel grounds. The greens are nice. Will definitely return.

Great location and facilities. Check in was a bit of a nightmare as the description to our beach front suit was completely off. The receptionist may as well as given us the description for Timbuktu! We found it eventually and it was a good stay. The food offering at the hotel could be much better but for locals I guess its good. Benihana was just 6 minutes away. I took a walk across the bridge towards Stuart and the views were AMAZING

We had a great stay at this resort . staff was great and friendly , food was amazing , and pools were clean and nice . I do want to mention room cleaning could be a bit better . there was hair and old contact lenses on the bathroom floor that remained for our entire stay - and our room was cleaned daily .

Marriott Hutchinson is a great location, beautiful beach, great staff. Although the building that we stayed needs a complete Reno, carpet not very clean and lighting is terrible. The breakfast at the restaurant across from the main hotel bldg is expensive and the food is terrible. Too many great restaurants in the area, don't spend your money there.

Restaurants weren't open when they said they would be; elevators did not work at night; food was not good/fully cooked; drinks at the beach were not to the top and of poor quality. Had to wait over 20 minutes for the golf cart to take us to the beach and the same to return. A horrible experience. I will never return.

Why does everything close so early? We bowled Saturday night that was fun. Buffet Sunday at baha grill was worth the $25. Cheryl & Kevin at the Sandpaper amazing. Everyone & Everything was just great!!!

We liked the property, room, location, ammenities. The only disappointment was the dining options. We went to the Tikki restaurant by the beach, and obviously is more like small plates and snacks, but they were tasteless and expensive. We didn't want to try any of the other options based on this, so tried the local restaurants, and were much happier. We would return to the property again.

Everything was great except there was no free coffee in the lobby. They did have coffee packets in the room. The rooms need a chair or couch to watch tv in-there was plenty of room for one so don’t know why there wasn’t either one.

I recently stayed at the Marriott Hutchinson Island Resort from July 15–26, and unfortunately, my experience fell well below the standard I expected from a Marriott property. Our first room had numerous maintenance and housekeeping issues that should have been identified long before any guest checked in. The dishwasher was broken and smelled of mildew, several kitchen drawers were broken, the refrigerator door was literally coming off its hinges, there was a noticeable buildup of caked-on dust on the bedroom ceiling, and there was a recently patched hole in the bedroom wall. Although the room clearly had significant problems, we remained there for seven days. My husband was working remotely throughout our stay and had an extensive work-from-home setup that required multiple monitors and other equipment. Packing everything up, disconnecting his workspace, and relocating to another room would have caused a major disruption to his work, so we did our best to make the room work despite the ongoing issues. When we were finally moved to another room, I expected the experience to improve. Unfortunately, the replacement room also had maintenance issues. The sofa bed frame was broken and unusable, requiring the use of a rollaway bed. While the staff was courteous and attempted to resolve the situation, the condition of both rooms did not meet the level of quality I expect from a Marriott resort, especially at the price we paid.
