I was very pleased with my stay I would have given this property the best rating available except for a very few minor things. This massive hotel literally has 1 elevator for the entire property this is very inconvenient as the indoor hallways are very hot and stuffy and I took the stairs except for the check in and check out as I had luggage I couldn’t carry down 3 flights of stairs. The toilet in my room you had to hold it down to get it to flush completely and last but the biggest inconvenience EVER was that even with the best king deluxe suite that was offered none of the rooms have microwaves. You have to go to the one microwave that is located on your floor by the 1 elevator. The photos and descriptions say that the rooms have a fridge and microwave and then was told by the front desk staff that is not the case at this property that each property is different. It was ridiculous to have to go stand in line once again in the hot hallways to use the microwave. Other than those issues this place is amazing very clean, the staff is awesome the rooms are huge and the air conditioning in the rooms are amazing. I will definitely stay again. Maybe I’ll bring my own microwave next time. Just teasing.

This hotel has the worst configuration of elevators! There are only elevators on one side of the hotel and stairs on both sides. The reason I am rating this the absolute WORST is because of the staff not explaining that there are four floors and not three! The floors are as follows (0=1, 1=2, 2=3 & 3=4). BAD HOTEL!

Everything about this hotel was great except for one important thing—the walls were paper thin. My neighbors on both sides of me sounded like they were having their conversations in my room. Every phone call, every cough, sneeze, tv show, etc…I could hear it. Other than that, everything was perfect—clean, comfortable beds, air worked good, the pool was nice and the breakfast was delicious and it was affordable in comparison to other hotels in the area. Everyone was super friendly. But the lack of quiet is the reason I won’t return. If that doesn’t bother you, highly recommend.

Very nice and newer property that has all the appropriate amenities. Pool area and gym are great and the parking is very easy. Rooms are spacious and have everything you would need for a few day stay. Definitely recommend.

There was an awful stench that permeated the entire floor and hallways that 1st day. The second day the stench was mostly gone but was replaced by the strong odor of Marijuana smoking. The bed linen were clean and the beds well made. However, the toilet and tub were very dirty and were not scrubved or cleaned during my entire stay. I went to the front desk attendant and ask for the toilet to be cleaned but that was never done. I appreciate that there were no disturbance or noise issues, that a gym which was fully equipped was available. I was glad that parking wasn't a problem and that the exterior of the building and the landscaping were quite pleasing.

We stayed here for FSU orientation. The hotel was close to campus, about a ten minute drive. It was clean and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We would stay here again on future visits to FSU.

The staff members were pleasant and helpful. My room was had concerning cleanliness issues. The shower drain was clogged with a massive amount of long hair and the toilet bowl had a brown ring. I stayed for three nights and never got any type of cleaning service. The tiny trash cans needed to be emptied and my bed was never made. Also, there was no soap in the shower soap dispenser. The best part about the room was the A/C and the streaming options on the TV.

The good The room was spacious and the bed was really comfy. Having 2 tv’s was amazing. The court yard was nice and offered a nice place to relax and drink coffee and smoke. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Now for the negative We paid over $200 ($20 a day extra for breakfast for 2) a night and when we got to the room, there was hair in the shower floor and the garbage (from the previous day before we got there) had not been removed from the trash can. The breakfast was a joke really. We were offered a bagel, muffin or scone and coffee (not worth the $20 a day that we paid). The “Starbucks” coffee wasn’t good either. So we threw away the coffee and went to star bucks next door. I don’t know if I would stay at this hotel again. I expected more from a hotel that I dropped over $200 a night for.

The evening staff was great, but the first room the tv didn't work. We were moved to a second room and it didn't have the balcony that we booked. The trird room took about hours to cool and I didn't sleep at all. I let the guy know about the ac when i checked out and he told me that you never know when an ac it going to fail.....and that was it.

We had an issue with the drain in the shower, however, it was cleared up very quickly. Do not get an adjoining room if you want a quiet night because the walls are paper-thin. The breakfast is ridiculously expensive for the food provided. We would never use this service again.

This is the noisiest place I have ever stayed! Just needed a quiet place to sleep before an early flight. Instead, people yelling, loud in the halls, housekeeping vacuuming in the evening, banging vacuum into every door, and slamming doors all night. Neighbor slammed door at least 6 times over and over at 10:30 pm. Not peaceful, not restful…

Severely understaffed and managed. No room clean up or towels changed. Difficult to have anything done unless we had to ask multiple times. Fire alarm at 0130 x 1 hr for recurrent alarm malfunction. Breakfast area poorly staffed, expensive food with poor service, no silverware or napkins. I general very nice physical plant, poorly staffed and mangled. Long lines for everything. Will not return.

Check in much more complicated than it has to be. For 2 different rooms we had to check individually. The same the next day. Staffing in general very poor, very slow. NO room cleaning, had to ask for towels and pillow several times until we got them. One night a fire alarm went off for over an hour when there was no fire staff explained it was a false alarm that has been a problem frequently lately. In general the physical plant is beautiful, but poorly managed and staffed.

The communication between the hotel and Expedia was incomplete. I booked a room for $114. plus breakfast for two for $10. The receipt reflected the room for $124. At check-in I was told just to order 1 entre and 1 beverage each and there would be no additional charge. This morning at breakfast they would not honor that. Since the receipt did not reflect both the room and breakfast, we were denied breakfast.

Some of the staff were not the most friendly. At breakfast, even though it was a paid breakfast, they had run out of fruit and on the second day they could not even give me a glass of warm milk for my son. They said they were out of milk and could only give me half and half. They also kind of made a face when I said I needed it warmed up. Very unlike experiences I have had at Marriott properties before. I am very unlikely to stay here again if I were to visit Tallahassee

Extremely disappointed to learn that the hotel restaurant and bar would not be opening due to low registration numbers.
