Clean, courtesy, quiet, pool clean

Don’t know how it has a rating over 8 - more like a 6 - 7 in my view. It was noisy one night due to a heavy truck with the chiller unit running all night parked outside my door. Don’t know why they allow this. Doors, bath both a little tatty - paint peeling and rust stains. Gym was not good - poorly maintained equipment. Breakfast ok, but notices posted with rules didn’t offer a relaxing vibe. Positive was the friendly staff. Overall, expensive for what it was.

Our room was clean and close to parking area , the staff was very accommodating and they provided safe parking for our boat and trailer

The people were exceptional as were the appearance of the property. The pool was large as is the compound. It would accomodate a small convention.

Quaint very nicely kept. Clean like the outside pool, area around it. Wish it had a hot tub. Very nice place.

The fitness room is a hazard. It was nice to have somewhere to workout but at the risk of getting hurt by faulty machinery, nope. either fix, get new or close it down

Good pool and breakfast

My room smelled old and musty, pillows smelled like wet socks and there were dead cockroaches in the room.

The place is ok, the room is beautiful with a super comfy bed, but the Mildew is unbearable! Hard to fall asleep from the smell and woke up to bearly being able to breath. Mold allergy customers stay away! Otherwise good bargain.

Room very clean

Good breakfast, good hotel location, clean pool, what I didn't like? The room wasn't very clean, I got cockroaches, 2 at night and 1 during the day, there was no room service even though we were there 3 days and two nights, no soap, no shampoo, no garbage cans, we had to change trash ourselves, few towels and the 3 days we had to use the same ones we had to dry ourselves with them wet, bad smell in the room, when we asked the lady at the front deck to give us a bigger room, which they had because I had checked before asking and even though I was going to pay more for it she said no because I had already reserved one through Expedia and that's why she couldn't change it for me, which I was glad about because after seeing that there was no service room and how bad the room was and the cockroaches believe me I don't regret not having paid more for another room, I definitely wouldn’t return to that hotel again

Beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows were horrible. The bathtub was stained so bad it was disgusting. Floor was sticky so make sure to were shoes.

The staff was nice, the pool is good, the breakfast has good food. However, it is a old place. What I did not like was the floor of my room. It was dirty. I have kids and their socks was black in few minutes. The floor really needs a deep clean. But the outside area is beautiful.

This hotel sadly disappointed me. The room was dirty and the shower was super gross. My TV didn’t work and then the toilet over flowed and the WiFi was sketcky

The bathroom was terrible. It was really outdated. The coating on the bathtub was peeling off. We had no maid service. We had to empty our trash cans and get fresh towels every night. The breakfasts were very good. The staff was nice.

There was mold in the room, broken cabinets, dirty shower, dust and dirt in every corner, stained sheets with other peoples hair on them, my daughter had a panic attack because there was bugs in her sink, just a short stay but that was long enough, won’t be back.

I arrived frazzled from a long road trip and the front desk quickly put me at ease. Very helpful staff all around. Clean and nice decor. Ac in room was a bit loud, but I fell asleep quickly. Would stay here again.

It was pet friendly and room was nice but they have shutters on the windows and not black out curtains. There are a ton of bright overhead lights and so the room was way too bright all night even with the shutters closed. Also the bedding is just like a thin sheet and not warming.

Rooms looked run down and needs repairs

wifi connection was extremely weak. Instructions were given to operate the tv remote controls, but one of the remotes didn't have batteries. There were actually instructions on how to get more batteries at the front desk. However the correct type of battery was not available at the front desk. Eventually staff brought a new set of batteries.

Breakfast was good. Walls were too thin unfortunately and we could hear everything next door.

The tv was too complicated to operate. Could not get any channels. Very disappointing!

I stayed 3 nights. Convenient to everything you need in Vero, including the beach. Price is right. The room was very clean, the parking lot is very well lit at night. Two of the nights were exceptionally quiet. The third night not so: large parties need to be told to be courteous to their neighbors! Also, a couple of the lamps in the room did not work.

Blackout curtains would be an asset to the hall lighting that shines through the shutters.

Nicholas at fron desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Great asset to this hotel. Breakfast buffet very good. Much better than other ones we had at other hotels. Grits, scrambled eggs, western omelet type eggs, fresh fruit and regular stuff. Very clean room. Only ding was room was bright at night due to our shutters not closing all the way

Upon arrival there was a gang smoking weed and playing loud music in their room/spilling out into the car park. We requested a room change as this was next to the assigned room. This was performed and the second room assigned was above another group drinking outside their rooms and by their cars. We then informed the front desk of this and the only answer was having to pay for an upgrade. This made that evening extremely uncomfortable as we didn’t feel safe to leave our room and enjoy the area. We will not be returning to this hotel or group again as this seems to be the clientele and environment they deem acceptable. Tk make the stay even more unforgettable the bathroom extractor fan was covered in mould. Thankfully we only stayed the one night however if it had been multiple then we would have left as the dangers from mould is unacceptable.

Nicholas in the front was amazing, took care of me understood what was going on very good customer service

The breakfast was really good. Noisy neighbors, took the staff almost two hours to get them to be quiet. Hair in the tub and sink that certainly wasn't mine.

Great check in experience. I told the front agent that I didn’t see the $125 fee deposit and how that’s crazy. She was very nice and didn’t correct me because I just saw now that it does show the fee on Hotels.com LOL yikes. Super easy to get in, super quiet. Will definitely stay here again.

Property double charged me for a security deposit. One at 5:39pm & one at 5:42 pm. Which is $248 dollars of mine that I won’t see for 7 to 10 business days because the staff does not know how to properly check guest in.

I stayed here on two different occasions within a week and a half for work. The first time I stayed I came in about 9:00 p.m. a young man checked me in gave me the rundown and directions and was very pleasant. When I got to my room, it was nice, clean, comfortable and safe. I stayed two days with out anyThe second time I stayed I only stayed for one night and checked in during the day which was a far different experience I had to sign a paper for my service dog which I did because I had already paid and it was a non-refundable rate so I did not mention that I am not required to sign or provide any paperwork for my ADA compliant service dog but more so The lady made me uncomfortable about it like she was telling me how to handle my animal and almost questioning the validity of my impairment which had she paid a little bit closer attention like the gentleman did when I checked in the first time she would have noticed that I have a visual impairment which again made me uncomfortable because I really wasn't familiar with what I was signing and she made it a point to Tell me that the gentleman who checked me and didn't do it right because he didn't have me fill out the paperwork but I believe he actually paid attention and could tell that I would have been uncomfortable with any extra reading or paperwork

The gentleman who runs the breakfast bar is OUTSTANDING! I think he'd get more tips if he moved his tip jar and boy, does he ever deserve them! He's great!

This was a very nice little hotel for a good price. It was the perfect stopover after a long drive on the way to either Miami or Canaveral for a cruise.

Property is very suitable for large number of guests. Safe, clean, and easily accessible to everything.

It an updated old property but clean and orderly. The beds were comfortable. The property is a drive from the majority of things happening in town but a cheaper option if most properties are booked.

The property had a beautiful courtyard with a pool. It had an old fashioned charm. The room was very large. Although an older property, it was well maintained. It was easy on and off the interstate highway. They served a really good breakfast.

The property is obviously slowly being renovated to make it more attractive. My room had beautiful new floors, comfortable beds and a rather old, rusty, dented bathtub. The pool and surrounding area were lovely, though the pool was unheated and rather cool. The breakfast buffet was good, though the food was at varying degrees of hotness. I arrived early and was denied early check-in, even though I was told rooms were available. The clerk said the computer would charge an early check-in fee and she either couldn't, or didn't want, to override that. One of the people working at the buffet showed obvious frustration that items hadn't been ordered by a coworker, and she was also unhappy with the way guests were piling their dirty dishes. The location was convenient, and close to the highway, though it was a twenty minute drive to the beach. Overall, a pleasant stay for a reasonable price.

Recently revamped room except for bathroom which is looking very worn. Blinds in windows look great but not so practical in keeping light out. Nice unheated pool and boules as well as seating area in the garden. Coffee bags in the room were the weakest coffee I ever tasted and breakfast was poor. No fresh fruit, strawberry yoghurt the ubiquitous waffle machine and awful scrambled eggs plus bagels n bread so not great. Nice helpful staff sorted the couple of issues we had. 35 minutes drive to the very nice beach, very limited dining options to walk to.

Staff are really nice, the parking lot is convenient and plenty of room. It was Quiet. The beach is 10-15 minutes straight down the road. I will stay again

Very easy location to find right off the Highway. Property and my room were very clean. Hotel had excellent friendly professional staff. Would stay here once again.

The property and staff was amazing and very nice but the breakfast was horrible. There were burnt items and it just wasn’t tasty at all.

We arrived in the early evening and over half the hotel was empty. They still put us in a room directly at the top of the stairs with a couch that had scratches all over it from what looks like a cat and half if the lights weren't working. They had plenty of other clean rooms left but said those would be an upgrade charge because they were pool view. We just stayed where we were. 2nd floor facing the parking lot, which we didn't care much about. The rooms are very old and they tried to refurbish them but they still need a lot of work. The beds are really firm and not the most comfortable but it was okay for a night. We probably wouldn't stay again though. The best part was the breakfast but it was a little weird too. You needed to provide your room number and couldn't bring food back with you to the room which I usually do for my husband because he's more of a late riser on vacations. The lady who cooked everything did a wonderful job though and it was very delicious.

We only had a quick overnight stay, but the staff is amazing. We enjoyed talking to Michael at breakfast. He was very attentive and was a wealth of information for places to go and see on the rest of our trip. Breakfast was wonderful and everything was very clean. Would definitely go back. The bed was a little too firm for us, but that’s just a personal preference. Other than that, everything was great.

Rooms were clean, Mike in kitchen is an awesome young man. Delicious food and very friendly. All staff were friendly.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served and was delicious. Michael had coffee ready with a smile by 6 A.M. We enjoyed our stay!

Breakfast is excellent!

My issues are with the morning breakfast. First morning I chose to eat in the dinning area, no forks available. On the second attempt at the “hot” breakfast, no hot water sterno bath for the hot food. It was cold. I ended up tossing the food I had put on my plate. Having instructions on or near the waffle makers would also better serve the people.

Very nice little find. Perfect for a stopover on our way to Miami. Rooms were clean and spacious. Honestly, I’d give it 5 stars of the breakfast - especially the coffee - was better quality. Otherwise, great hotel and service.
