Room was very outdated, nothing like advertisement. Pool was not open

Smells terribly of smoke and mold. Old rooms falling apiary and couch in room you literally sank into. Painters on the outside, but rooms still rented out so the painters and their equipment, and noise had to be maneuvered through. Man/painter outside window early morning “painting” while looking in through the blind. Terrible

The lady checking in at the window was very pleasant. That was it for the hood stuff. They have breakfast but it’s coffee, muffins or cookies. You can’t park near the building because of renovation and painting. Our room had one clean towel and one dirty towel. Lots of shady looking people standing upstairs when you pull in. Bring your concealed weapon if you plan to go out at night.

The parking wasn’t so good, people parked and didn’t have rooms. Had to wait to park near room.

Well the new touch up not so well finished my door never closed correctly.The pool closed to early the breakfast was not even worth getting up for blah it needs help

Pool has been dry for 8 years per another guest. Asked for downstairs room due to non-wheelchair disability. Got confirmation email. Was put on 2nd floor. Mildew in shower. Ring in bathtub. Breakfast is coffee, powdered creamer, bread but no toaster, old apples starting to wrinkle. The staff was friendly and helpful but are not given the supplies they need to properly clean. Desk clerk forced to work double 12 hr shifts on top of 72 hour week. Grounds poorly kept. Paint job so sloppy ... why bother? Would not stay agsin.

The room it’s great just needs to get the pool fixed

The front desk worker was very slow. He wanted a 60.00 cash deposit that was not listed when I booked the room. He then decided to charge my credit card instead. He did not know what he was doing. The room has mold in the shower and the desk chair has only 3 wheels. The head board of the bed is plastic and peeling. Sone of the lamps dont work. The breakfast area looks dirty. I am afraid to eat there in the morning. I am glad we only have to stay one night. I took pictures of this room to send to a corporate office. It is hard to believe that Wyndham would allow this to happen.

This was by far the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Very run down. It looks like they may be in the middle of renovations but they should not be renting out rooms that still need a lot of work. The room smelled to bad just walking in. Shower head falling off the wall with a giant hole around it. bath was disgusting, we could not use the fridge it smelled so bad. Very surprised how bad of condition this is in after reading mostly positive reviews

It was a last minute booking. Check in and check out very fast and easy. Friendly staff. Room was very clean. Water was nice and hot for a great shower. Was nice and quiet considering the location. I would stay again if im in town again.

Room looks ok when you first enter then you stay to see the problems Sheets were stained yellow we saw two small black bugs on my sons bed he wouldn’t sleep in it he was itching came bone with bites Huge gap in door even when locked Big holes in the wall by tv, we used microwave and it shut off all the electricity my boyfriend had to keep going downstairs to have it turned back on Our view was the truck stop across the street doesn’t seem like a safe place people sitting ion the stairs all the time just hanging around, another guy turned away because they’d over booked Lady on desk was nice enough but will not stay there again

My wife and I reserved a two night stay on February 15/17th 2025. Upon arriving they booked us into a smoking room, 126. The room had a stench of dirty ashtray and smoke. We asked front desk clerk to please move us into a non-smoking room which they did. The next room 112, had filthy carpets and a plumbing leak around the sink area. The carpet area around the sink was soaked with water. The carpet was so dirty throughout the room that our feet became soiled with a dark charcoal like stain. In addition, the soap and conditioner dispensers in the shower area were empty. My wife and I checked out after the first night with no intention on coming back for the second night stay. We asked the front desk to please refund our money for the second night stay. They said we’d have to take that up with Expedia. We contacted Expedia and they told us they would have to contact the hotel Howard Johnsons and ask for a refund for the second night. After spending nearly an hour and a half of dialogue with Expedia, they said we would have to wait for Howard Johnson‘s final decision. Today we received word from Howard Johnson’s, that they refused to refund our money. Words cannot express my disappointment with this hotel chain and Expedia. I would rather sleep in my car, then subject my family to the conditions which we found in that hotel near Vero Beach along the I-95 corridor.

Bathroom & shower dirty

The towels and bedding seemed clean. The man at the front desk was nice. There were amenities like shampoo, conditioner, soap, and moisturizer. We walked in the room and the smell of mold hit me and I should\'ve turned around and left but I didn\'t know how to deal with the confrontation of it, basically. The solid pieces that cover the drill holes on the site rask were loose. The drain didn\'t properly drain. There was 5" of standing water, easy. It went down after. The bed frame for one of the beds made a huge bang with any movement. No soundproofing as the smokers and people leaving early was annoying. I woke up miserable- sneezing and coughing from he mild.

This was a very clean motel. Usually when you go to a motel that is reasonably priced like this was their not as clean or they stink

This property needs a really good power wash on the outside. The room needs to be cleaned. The end table next to the bed had something on it that should have been cleaned off. Really the whole room needed updating. The front desk guy was very nice and processed my check in quickly. Inexpensive- I guess you get what you pay for.

It is an old Howard Johnsons. Not much is different except for some Wyndom soaps. Not dirty but not where I'd like to be.

A/C doesn't work properly, runs all the time and very inefficient. Bath tub area needs an update.

The room was clean and close to the highway. The property was outdated.

Hair dryer was broken and non-functional, 2 power sockets by the window didn't work, bathroom door was poorly aligned and was hard to shut and open, no Usb charging option, noisy trucks around the hotel, no ceiling light but ceiling light switch is by the door, non-functional. Overall - embarrassing condition.

Air conditioner didn't work very well. Glad it got cool outside that night or it would have been much worse

The water in the shower wouldn’t get hot enough to take a shower. The hotel was run down. I’m not staying there agsin.

The room was spacious and the bed linen clean (although old). But the room key repeatedly failed, requiring trips to the office for resets; rhe hot water supply conked out on both days; TV connections remained a mystery; breakfast items were largely absent. And the manager refused to consider adjusting the charges.

The room was spacious and fairly clean. However, the card-key repeatedly failed to reopen the door. The lighting around the sink was too dim to see well.The bath water lost its heat the first day and remained cold the next day. When informed of these problems the motel manager refused to adjust the charges for my stay.

Front desk and the rest solid the staff are very helpful and polite. I appreciate the stay.

Young man at front desk was overly helpful. Could not have ask for a more pleasant young man. Renovations were a very nice change. Felt safe and secure

Got checked in, major renovations going on at the place. Couldn’t under anything the girl said at the front office. Spoke very broken English. Got into the room and when we tried to leave to get dinner we couldn’t get out! The door wouldn’t open from the inside of the room! Called the front desk, she said she would send someone from housekeeping to let us out. 30 minutes later we were still in the room waiting! Called to find out what was going on and she said supposedly they’d went to the wrong room. No they didn’t! The “wrong” room was right next door to my room! No one had been there! Waited 5 more minutes and then we took the window apart! Got out. Door opens fine from outside with a key card! Went to the office to tell the girl! No offer of moving me to another room! No answer for why it took so long for someone to NEVER COME LET US OUT! Had it been an emergency we could’ve DIED in that room because we couldn’t get out!! Will NEVER stay here or recommend this place to anyone!! Horrible Horrible Horrible!!! We went to stay somewhere else!! That we could get out of the room!! So mad! Just want my money back for this most unpleasant experience!! Horrible place and horrible front desk girl! Who never even tried to let us out of that room!!

From the outside it really doesnt look to appealing when you drive up. The room was ok. It had some spider webs in corners, but it was clean. It is across from truck stop, so a lot of traffic.

The outside of the place looks pretty shabby. However, the room was very clean. The noise from the TA Gas station where trucks go prevented me from getting a good night's rest.

At front desk no smiles or welcoming words. Room clean but carpet soaking wet just shampooed?? And bath floor slippery cleaning product not rinsed dangerous. Location really noisy with trucks all night passing by. Breakfast could improve w donuts….

Breakfast was miss leading. All they had was a chocolate muffin & coffee. The remote for the T.V. didn't work half the time. Bed was ok. Rooms were ok. Not worth $90.00 per night. Won't stay again

The first room (rm 212) the couch was stained, beat up.. the tub drain wasnt attached so a shower was the only option, the TV was outdated and doesnt accept HDMI.. there were hairs in the bathtub I was upset, i was nervous to leave the car in the parking lot because the place was a little harsh looking at night, but very peaceful and clean looking during the day. I asked fro room change and the second room (208) had a big TCL tv, tub was in tact, couch was in good condition and it was comfortable, and I stayed an additional day at the hotel. Breakfast was muffins and bread,butter or cereals

The decor was good,deliberate 60s/70s vibe which was fun. There were laundry facilities available and the breakfast was good.

Empty lots behind the hotel gave it a sketchy feel although nothing occurred Went to breakfast at 8:30 and there was little left. They did not replenish. No yohgurt, no fruit, no eggs, no waffles, no pastries except packaged muffins. Only bread and cereal

If you like to Reminisce, this Howard johnson was very comfortable. Very clean room. Nice white linens. Breakfast was nice and simple. Cereal toast muffins fruit fresh coffee. OJ and milk. Protein bars. Close to truck stop, but room was quiet. Air conditioning worked perfectly. PS. Check-in time 2pm was earlier than most.

The breakfast consisted of chocolate chip muffins and cookies. Something else that’s not sweet and chocolate should be added. Everything else was okay.

Outdated and just whitewashed. Quiet hours start at 10:00pm but the hotel was doing plumbing maintenance from 9:30pm - 12:30am. Our toilet didn’t flush. The shower didn’t drain and the landline phone didn’t work. The breakfast was sugary children’s cereal, fruit wrapped in plastic and watered down coffee.

Everything was okay for my business colleague, however this hotel advertised a complimentary breakfast & there was none!

The property itself is quite tire, dated and not well maintained. For starters, the sink was clogged so I pulled out the stopper to find it loaded with debris. I left it out so the sink would drain. I didn’t use the shower as that looked to be another problem as the drain was laying in the tub. The tub itself was in dire need of an upgrade/replacement. The refrigerator was making a knocking sound that was difficult to ignore. The sheet had paint on it like it was a drop cloth. The TV could only get some random channels, not even local news or weather was available and streaming from my own personal device was not available. The breakfast was truly poor as the only offerings were bread slices, apples and cereal in containers that I wouldn’t consume from. Also that area was quite tired. Upon leaving we were not asked about our stay or experience nor thanked. I would not recommend this location for anyone. Wyndham shot be embarrassed and rethink this type of offering.
