I felt welcomed and appreciated by Joanne, the GM who was working the front desk when I arrived. She remembered me the next morning at breakfast and greeted me BY NAME. WOW. That never happens!!! The hotel is so easy to find. Parking was a cinch. My room was spotless and comfortable. The window treatments allowed me to black out the light, or just filter it. Shower, shower curtain, toilet, sink and vanity all spotless. Mattress with 4 pillows (one was soft and perfect for me) was really comfortable. Sheets felt cool and crisp and I had no qualms about slipping in between them. Microwave was clean and it worked. Fridge froze my lettuce but that’s ok. Breakfast was GOOD. Hot scrambled eggs, sausage patties and links, yogurt, muffins and bagels…. All the usual fare, and it was well-tended to, clean, and always a staff person there to clean up and answer questions. ATM in lobby and bathrooms near the dining area. It was great. All in all, I received more than I expected and I would stay there again when I visit Atlanta again!

Right off of I-85, this hotel was conveniently located and was a nice, what you would expect, Holiday Inn. Free parking. Free breakfast. Good air conditioning. Fridge in room. Everything was as expected.

We arrived for check-in at 3pm. We were told there was nobody working that could check us in at that time. So, we waited for about 20 minutes for the clerk to arrive. The hotel was old and dated. The hallway and the lobby had a strange odor. The room and bathroom were very dirty. AC wasn't very cold. The wifi was slow and not strong. There were people loitering in the parking lot after hours that were using drugs. My fiancé and I left about 10 pm that night. We didn't stay overnight because we felt unsafe. There was nobody at the front desk for us to speak with.

Check in was flawless. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Staff was very courteous. There must have been a volleyball tournament in town as the hotel was full with volleyball teams. For breakfast we came down late and those volleyball players were hungry. When we informed the staff that more food was needed they were very quick in replenishing the breakfast food trays. This is an excellent hotel and staff!!!

I was given a room which was not cleaned. In the bath room, there was a used soup and in the closet, there was a pack of diapers. So I requested them to change my room which they did. Breakfast is normal.

Nice hotel in a convenient location. Clean, updated. GREAT breakfast! Several restaurants close (1/2 mile) and a big shopping center with more options about 15 minutes away. My only complaint about the hotel is the wonky internet. Keeps popping off, and very few bars even when working.

Unfortunately when we arrived, there was no more rooms available that were the correct “size”. We reserved a 2 queen room for the 4 of us and they only had a King with pull out sofa available. This was hard with 2 older kids. The front desk worker was WONDERFUL to work with, but it was still very frustrating. As for the room, it was ok…not great. Very LOUD area of ATL.

I checked in late and the staff was so sweet and kind, however the room I was given had a huge leak In the ceiling in the bathroom. I heard a drip so walked in to adjust the faucet but slipped and fell on the floor for water was all over due to the leak! I went and told them but they didn’t seem too concerned. I was then assigned a new room- which the TV had “ NO SIGNAL”! I just went to bed I was so done and didn’t want to move again. Very disappointed in my stay. The hotel was in ok condition and a few “hotel parties” in rooms were going on. I’m glad I only was there for 9 hours! The GM was so kind when I talked to him the next morning but there was no sense of urgency to fix that leak! He also informed me there had been a power outage a few days ago. Ok- so why didn’t maintenance go to each room and reset the TV’s? Oh well- that stay won’t happen again! They were going to compensate me for my stay but couldn’t due to booked through hotels.com!

The stay wasn't anything remarkable - I came in, I stayed, I left. Check-in was quick, and the person at the front desk was extremely helpful and nice. The bathroom could have been cleaner. There were signs of decay and some stuff that looked like peanut butter stains. The fridge was making loud noises all night long. Aside from that - it was an okay stay.

Short story we paid again for a room on july 19th and the bathroom didn't work so we had to go back downstairs to the receptionist to get another room. After they were not very cooperative and did not want to refund our stay for aug. 2 because the manager there said that expedia doesn't do any refunds. So no one used this room on August 2 we were from out of state they would not allow us to change the date or get a refund. Even when the room they gave us july 19th the toilet was broken. We have stayed with holiday inn way over 5 years and it was very suprising to hear that there was absolutely nothing they could do for us. They knew nobody was going to come back for aug 2. We tried to explain but the manager didn't even bother in talking with us.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express was wonderful. Antonio and Sabrina provided the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. They were both very friendly, accommodating and simply put just very nice. They made our stay great!

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM FRONT DESK STAFF, TO BREAKFAST STAFF, TO HOUSEKEEPING! DEFINITELY STAYING HERE AGAIN! BRYAN TAYLOR & BRENDA WERE EXCEPTIONAL IN THE SERVICE!!! Is employees like them who make customers come back each time!! There is so much truth in the saying... treat right your employees and they will treat right your customers... we only hope the company treat them right since is employees like them that make a company successful.

We booked this hotel for a family vacation, and were turned away in the middle of the night because of overbooking. We had to cancel our trip and drive home all night because it was too late to book another hotel. The front desk said we would not be charged, but we were, and I am unable to get a refund so far.

Unfortunately when we arrived, there was no more rooms available that were the correct “size”. We reserved a 2 queen room for the 4 of us and they only had a King with pull out sofa available. This was hard with 2 older kids. The front desk worker was WONDERFUL to work with, but it was still very frustrating. As for the room, it was ok…not great. Very LOUD area of ATL.

Very nice property for the price. Only downfall was that the pancake machine was broke and they never really put much of that bacon out that you see in the pics. I had to ask the first day and there was absolutely none the second day. Breakfast was just so-so and from the pics I was expecting more. However, very clean hotel, quiet, and super responsive staff. I would stay here again and go get breakfast at the Waffle House.

We had a great overnight stay here. Staff was very friendly at check-in and check-out. The room was modern and clean I loved the full sized bottles of Dove products in the bathroom. My only complaint, and it wouldn’t keep me from staying again, was breakfast was out of a lot of items. There was no milk for cereal, no bagels, and the pancake machine was out of mix. All the things my son would eat. I know it was probably just an ordering issue, and not a poor reflection on our stay. Just disappointing. I would definitely recommend.

Good location, nice spacious room with mini fridge. Breakfast was good, nice Greek yogurts in fridge. Ok selection of hot food. Coffee wasn’t great even though it’s supposed to be Costa beans. They should learn how to recycle though, always disappointed that everything is wrapped in plastic with paper plates and plastic cutlery.
