It was a great visit and I had a great time staying here for the second time

The staff were wonderful! Most of them have been there there for decades! The hotel is under construction so there was a little noise during the day. However, we stayed in a brand new room and it was so nice! I will definitely be stay there again next month when I come back through!

The property was average to slightly above average. It is apparently going through some renovation at the time of our stay. The renovation might have been part of the issue I describe next. The initial impression of our room was above average but declined. The first time using the bathroom I noticed a bug crawling up the wall. I captured it and dispatched it quickly. It was a silverfish. I did not tell my wife as I felt it was a one-off situation. The next morning as we were about to leave my wife spotted a cockroach crawling along the carpet about a foot from the end of the bed. She dispatched it quickly while saying, "I am glad I did not see that last night"! I am too because we would have been searching for a new place to stay. We can tolerate other small things but not small bugs in our room. Again, it is unfortunate that we had the bugs because we could have rated the property better.
