Baymont Inn & Suites Jesup

It was more of a motel, more like an extended stay motel the manager had been there less than 24 hours from another state and walked into a horrific mess. it was like the Little House of horrors! awful! Misleading andDeceitful advertising. The pictures that were shown on the Internet are not the pictures of that property location at all. The pool was small and operable full of algae and green stuff. I have stated once before I want a full refund

all the photos of the hotel are lies the pool does not work there is no breakfast

The thing should be condemned exposed electrical no smoke alarm dirty floors sheets bugs never seen anything so discussing in my life pictures are not the way it is. Pool had 2 ft of muddy water management was rude . Do not stay there

Awful!!! Do not stay here. Advertise pool, no pool. Dirty, blood on the wall, freezer and fridge absolutely disgusting. Continental breakfast I wouldn’t feed to my dog. Make sure you don’t speak to management, they will say you are wrong. Beds are on boxes that are too small. In my bottom 3 hotels I’ve stayed in ever. And it smells like mold/mildew.

No pool

First thing that got our attention is there isn't a elevator. Next when we got the doors open one room had crumbs on the floor and bed. I canceled the reservation for that room and probably would have canceled both if there would have been another motel close, but sadly in Jesup we don't have any hotels worth staying in.

They did not have a pool or gym as advertised. The tv and internet was out majority of our stay.

Shower curtain is falling off the wall, air conditioning is barely working, No internet in the entire hotel (the manager said it doesnt work in the rooms ever), hot water wasn't hot, mold around the sink, No phone in the room.

AC very noisy on snd off every 10 minutes. So loud u could not sleep. Dirty towel me. Gave back to manager to show him. Dryer for hair as melted onone side. I’m be never seen any hotel so dirty.

The room had a stale kind of mold smell. There were roaches. The bathroom light was loud. The bed was comfortable. The rate from the rooms were different than what I was told.

I’m not sure what the main part of the hotel was like. My room was in a separate building. As soon as you entered the building you were hit with a horrible smell. There was spilt cereal down the hallway. Once in the room, it seemed to be clean until you opened the drawers. Inside the drawers were dead bugs. There were also dead bugs on the bathroom floor.

This was smelly & dirty. Our room wasn’t made up while we were out all day. Never experienced room not tidied up for a 2 day stay. (I didnt expect towels or linens to be replaced) Bedding was awful… fuzzy blanket in lieu of a top sheet. No tissue in box, no glasses, or bottled water. Refrigerator was a loud buzz all day/night. Now I understand why every other hotel was booked but this one. Never again!

Dirty, smelled like mold, ceiling falling in. We didn't stay.

Room was dirty...dead worms on bathroom floor...Spiders, mold bathroom...cracked sharp bathroom tiles. Do not recommend

Driving up to the property i thought it looked ok, once inside the lobby looked ok as well. My family and I gathered our belongings and headed to the room and as we walk we notice the hallway was dirty and smelled like smoke. We were on the second fl rm 225. The stairs going to the room were very dirty. Once I entered the room you immediately smelled the smoke. Put the things down and started observing the room. There was trash in the room on the floors, under the bed, beside the bed, in between the bed and the nightstand. Bathroom floor was dirty. Walls were dirty, linen was dirty w/ makeup on the pillowcase, dried nail polish on the blankets, sheets had yellow stains, fitted sheet was dirty. Dead roaches in the room as well as living ones. The TV was on, had volume but you could not turn the channel. No smoke detector, no sprinkler system in the room. They have the nerve to have a sign that says CLEAN ROOMS. That room looked like a family lived in that room. I took pictures and recorded the room of everything I just spoke on. My family and I had driven a total of 8 hrs and was expecting to check in and get some very much needed rest and we couldn't. Anthony the manager did come look at the room. Offered some more sheets. I called around to find a new hotel, one rep told me she had another lady call before I called, complaining about her room @ Baymont as well. She had the same complaints as me. People live there, you see cats and dogs. The place needs HELP

Tv never works, certain rooms are smelly and the towels are paper thin and stained terribly

The floors were dirty and unkept..We had to tote our luggage up flights of stairs...with no help...there were no phones in the room....You couldnot see out of the window of the room for it not being cleaned in and out. .The T.V. had no sound.and no coffee pots in room.

Hot water didn’t work. One door on the side didn’t have access and carpet in room need to be changed but decent place for a night or two

Carpet stained and dirty. Bathroom towel bars broken. Shower head leaked. Beds neatly made but sunk all the way down to foundation. Not comfortable at all.

It was a very nice stay but almost all the outlets didn’t work. My charger kept falling out of it. And we had no shampoo or soap to wash our hands. And we couldn’t get the tv to work either. Just went to a fuzzy screen

The first room we were given smelled like moldy cellar. Curtains were coming off of rods, paint was 1/4 finished on one wall, just wires where smoke detector was supposed to be, no outlet covers on outlets in bathroom, rusty doorway to bathroom, remote to TV literally stuck to my husbands hand and the washcloths were dirty and the carpet was paint spattered. Reported to man in charge who sent a housekeeper to room with me. She stated we needed a new room. The new room still had a musty smell so we bought car air fresheners, you could read through the towels they were so threadbare and the refrigerator was so full of frost it wasn’t working well. the next morning, there was no breakfast and this didn’t seem to bother the man at the front desk. Terrible experience.

This business is very unprofessional we was locked out of our room because staff wasn't in place the when ask for refund or discount we didn't received nothing so I paid for a room that i wasn't able to stay in , I do not recommend if you work late and trying to get in your room , staff is very unprofessional and rude

The hotel is poorly managed by incompetent and unprofessional staff.

Price was great. Staff was AMAZING!! Very attentive to any & all of our needs!

Couldn’t understand clerk or he didn’t understand us. Place was dirty, needed vacuum cleaning. Rooms doors were open. People going up and down halls knocking on doors. Clerk gave us wrong number of room- obviously couldn’t find it. 277 instead of 217. We have pictures of how it was. Breakfast? -we wouldn’t eat there if there was food out. Worst place ever!

Several things bad here. Bugs in the room, one of our rooms had nasty carpet that should have been changed a while back, mold and mildew in the bathroom, the compressor in the AC wasn’t kicking on so no cold air, room smelled horrible! So the staff was for the most part friendly except the lady checking us out. My girlfriend talked to her about the bugs and other issues after the stay and got a smug smile in return instead of I’m sorry. Tbh I would have never left a review if the whole deposit issue would not have happened but since it did, I felt it’s best to air it all out!!! Like I was saying, I would have never left a review if for the deposit issue. I had a $50 deposit for the room that was supposed to be given back after checkout. Well my deposit was no where to be found and they did not have $50 cash at the hotel…!!!!….Finally after pointing fingers at the young man that checked me( who by the way was a bright spot for the place!!) claiming he missed placed it OR took the deposit,,,, it was found under the drawer… Good job for blaming someone in front of a customer and Good job for holding us up for $50!!! How about give me the deposit then find the missing money later after I’m gone. We won’t be back

The rooms were clean and the people there was very friendly. Really enjoyed our stay!

The property manager and his team were very welcoming and helpful. The place was quiet and pleasant. I spend two nights there had no problem. I will recommend:)

Do not recommend office was closed til 930pm all the room werw dirty sat outside from 5 ril 9 waiting on room with 1 small kids

Staff and management are always super friendly and helpful and accommodating. Just this weekend, I mentioned to managment about remote missing from room. He found one and programmed the new television for Me. It took a few minutes, but he was professional and courteous. I appreciate the effort became tv noise is apart of work routine for Me in evenings and I can get paperwork finished.

The area was so close to my family who lives in Jesup. To be completely honest, I was freaked out by the 2 stars, and I went in with a high alert. First greeted by the guest services/management. I was pleasantly surprised. Went to the room. It’s very clean. Overall the property needs some investment.

Quiet and peaceful stay. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Was hesitant about my decisions to book a room here because of the recent reviews but overall I was satisfied with my stay.

Very Quiet and Relaxing

Last minute reservation here, staff was amazing, explained that they were working on the hotel getting it back in shape. It was clean, beds were nice, area was quiet. Again, staff was amazing and friendly.

Had to call a number to get a staff member to check us in. Room conditions were dirty, moldy, and had multiple issues needing repairs. Breakfast was a half eaten box of mini muffins from Walmart that were past date and 2 mostly empty boxes of cereal. While the staff member was kind our stay was not what we expected from this company.

I didn't like it at all there pool was nasty all the time ALL the rooms smelt really bad the beddings smelt moldy some of them and the towels and rags because some was still wet after being handed and I had to clean my own room vacuum it bring them all used lineon and I never had them hand me anything for my room including toilet paper I had to go into the wash room and get everything myself because there's never anyone at the desk or on property sometimes . Maybe twice the office manger heather would go get me some cloths and towels if I asked her. The woman that worked here always acted as if they was on some type of drugs or alcohol only one I seen that was cleaning sometimes on rooms and doing laundry and actually at the front desk was a woman name Kristina she was very polite new what her surroundings was she was only one person I seen work for this hotel like it was actually being ran and open. There also was NO BREAKFAST LIKE THE SIGN SAID !. EVERY MORNING NOTHING WAS PUT OUT FOR BREAKFAST. ME AND MY HUSBAND WILL DEFINITELY BE STAYING SOMEWHERE ELSE NEVER AGAIN!.

Breakfast was poor options; overripe bananas, limited biscuits and gravy and muffins. We shared our room with cockroaches. We will not be back.

My room was really clean. . .until I saw a roach-twice! The back stairs were dirty and unvacuumed. The breakfast was plentiful, but there were swarms of knats, crawling everywhere.

The beds was comfortable. But the was no breakfast. The gym was closed. The pool was closed for cleaning. I love the staff. They was very friendly. I would go back just to see the staff again.

Everything was missing and the girl kept apologizing. She did her best with very little she had at her disposition. Breakfast was included but they only had cereals for children, and more and more...

I never had any hot water in the shower. As instructed, I let it run a long time; never did even get warm. The waffle machine needed cleaning. Very limited breakfast items. The property was so old that it was difficult to determine if it was clean.
