Best Western Plus Kingsland

Nice hotel and a convenient location.

We were charge TWICE for the room and can not get this resolved. We booked through HOTELS.COM and paid for the room. When we arrived the clerk said, the payment did not go through and charger our credit card again! We called the hotel & hotels.com Neither is willing to fix their mistake. I've been using Hotels.com since 2011, customer no service has gotten so poor. Never again will I use them. The Hotel was not well maintained and they also have poor customer NO SERVICE.

The entire hotel smelled moldy, as if air conditioners had been running nonstop for years. My daughter even commented that the whole room smelled wet. Luckily, we were only there for 5-6 hours before we left. The lady at the front was really nice but in all my years of traveling, she locked us into a wing of the hotel from the outside lobby. She said we had to either go out the side doors and bring our key card or I had to knock loudly on the door to try to get her to come open it. Very bizarre happenings.

Room and bathroom were clean. Sheets seemed old. Good selection of items for breakfast.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel and would definitely consider coming back. One of the highlights was the breakfast—it was fresh, well-stocked, and had a good variety of options to start the day right. It made mornings easy and enjoyable without having to go out searching for food. Another big plus was the parking. It was simple, convenient, and easy to access, which made a huge difference after a long day of traveling. Not having to worry about complicated parking or extra hassle was a major bonus. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay with some thoughtful amenities that made the experience smooth and stress-free.
