Beautiful place. Great dining selections a lot to do. Just had a few issues with staff. Not enough people working coffee bar. Waited 1 hour to get a coffee in the morning. Just needs more help. Pool bar was closed. Most of the weekend

Of the two hot tubs one was closed even though when asked they said both were open. The pool and hot tubs had a very visible grim line at water level. The bed was lumpy with dips and raised areas.

Beautiful resort but a couple of things made the experience be average: 1. The pool had no clean towels 2. There is no food or beverage on the pool area 3. The property is very large and there are no shuttles to explore the property 4.staff on the reception was not very helpful

Times are wrong online of when facilities are open. Pool was closed the entire stay and was told it was open online and by the front desk walked to pool and it was closed multiple times. Staff are very nice. Food is terrible and High prices for something that looks like it was bought ant the dollar tree and warmed in the microwave. FOOD has NO SEASONING and also gave us an upset stomach. Everything was closed and nothing to do. Flowers and everything outdoors needs some care.

The pillows are terrible but the beds are nice. Mold growing on the bathroom ceilings. I booked a ground level room for accommodations and was placed on the second floor. When I mentioned it, I was told nothing was available. I was told in my booking that I would have to pay an 80 dollar incidental hold but had to pay a 100 dollar hold and their reply to my question of why was “you booked with Expedia so it’s $100.00” and it will not draft after checkout. After checkout the money was still drafted from my account (this was booked through my bfs hotels.com account for a business trip because it was cheaper than the IHS association discount).

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were a bit dated, chairs in the room were heavily stained so we avoided sitting on them. The grounds were well kept and the views and staff were incredible! They really made us feel so welcomed and "at home" as possible. It was truly a great exoerience for our family to unwind and just relax. However, they should probably consider doing some updates in the guest room

Stayed here as was watching a golf tournament. Very comfortable, clean and relaxing stay. Food choices are very expensive. I have had to request a final itemised bill several times and still waiting unfortunately.

Floors were dirty especially behind chair and bathroom. Lighting in bathroom over sink was too dark for putting on makeup. Patio doors hasn't been cleaned. They sweep floors instead of vacuum or mop. Nasty.

Property was fairly nice. We paid for a lake/pool view we never got because they plant trees right in the middle of your balcony so you can’t see anything, but the tree of course. Expedia also didn’t mention at all that an extra security charge they give you upon check in. You have to pay the resort fee plus taxes PLUS another deposit that you may or may not receive back. I’m sure your family deserves more than this… so beware of Expedia & Callaway Gardens!

Check-in was a breeze & we loved the trolley service to Fantasy in Lights. Our first night was rough due to some very loud next door neighbors. The next night they were gone but above us was the same so I'm assuming very thin walls allowing lots of noise to be heard. Coffee pot was horrible & asking for extra coffee felt like a burden for the front desk. Room was very clean & the tub was perfect after a cold night touring lights. Overall decent room for an expensive price.

The grounds were beautiful. Will be back in a warmer time frame to use outdoor activities. Found it odd to have no microwave in room. Had to warm food by vending machines. The refrigerator in room never got cold.

Do not stay here as there is no guarantee that you will have a room. Checked in at 3:30 and was told that the room was not ready and they would text once it was available. Still no room or text by 5. Had a wedding to go to and the line was too long at the front desk to talk to someone and so I had to call. Told them we would not be able to collect our keys until after the wedding around 9 and also expressed concern that we still didn’t have a room. We were told that a manager would call and we would receive a text when the room was ready. By 9 PM we STILL did not receive a text that the room was ready. After lugging our stuff from the extremely inconvenient parking lot we were told that they had overbooked the hotel and there was not a room for us. We had to then drive to another property at 9:30 at night. No call from management and no discount offered. Absolutely terrible experience. Do not stay here.

We went there on Memorial Day. The first day, my car’s battery was dead and we asked a front desk staff (name: Kayla) to help. She didn’t even try to help us and was very rude. But you know what, this lodge has a jumpstart car service and she didn’t mention that. We had a bed experience.

The lodge was nice and clean. Check in and check out were painfully slow and they complained about “third party bookings”. The one girl at the front desk was extremely rude and needs to learn about customer service. Otherwise, beautiful place, just expensive and the $40/day resort fee is ridiculous. The gardens and everything is “included” in the room but it’s really not with the resort fee.

Bryan and Cason's Tap House was an exceptional server. Hee was fast, friendly and very attentive. His suggestions were wonderful, he knows his job and menu well. I cannot say enough good things about Bryan. I look forward to him serving us again on our next trip.

Only problem is toilet would overflow, had to put towels around it. They sent a guy up three (3) times to try and unclog it. Twice Tuesday afternoon and Once Wednesday afternoon. They NEVER OFFERED to move us to another room. When we checked out this morning, i told them the toilet was having the same problem. ALSO they added over $50. To our bill for parking and Entrance into the park Where the Lodge is located. We probably won't go back.

We stayed in a cottage. It was WONDERFUL!! We texted for fire starter and a corkscrew and within 6 minutes they were there. Everyone was so nice and the food was great, especially the ice cream.

Overall, this is a wonderful lodge, with two very good restaurants and excellent outdoor activities. Loved that the garden admission was included in the price. Loved the beautiful back patio, balcony, parking and that the beach was just down the hill. It had a coffee maker ; no microwave. It would be helpful for front desk (or garden entrance gate attendants) to explain about the roads in the garden that are only accessible with a resident pass and better road signage for Exit. (especially around Carson’s Garden). The tiny yellow pass icons on the garden map were not apparent to me until after arriving at dead ends and having to stop and examine the map more closely.

The accomodations and attractions at Callaway Gardens were excellent. The Christmas light show cost almost $50 for two people and took about 40 minutes to get to the entrance due to the complete lack of traffic control. The light show was excellent. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. The two big negatives were the valet parking and breakfast. I returned at around 9:30 pm and there was no valet around even though the sign said it was in operation until 10 pm. Also, it takes a long time to get the car from the obviously understaffed valet. The breakfast buffet was on a par with the complementary version from Comfort Suites. The frozen homefry potatoes were cold and dry. The bacon was never replenished during our 45 minutes there. The homemade omelet was good. We had to wait 20 minutes to get the wait staff to get our beverages. All this for $22 per person. Way overpriced! Go enjoy the great accommodations and grounds at Callaway Gardens, just eat elsewhere.

All overall very good. Property and gardens are amazing. Restaurant at the golf course had a great food, and even better staff. Dining room at the lodge had very overpriced food that was not good at all, and the service was bad. Frint desk staff was very nice and very welcoming.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. The staff was super friendly and approachable. The food was amazing. The rooms were clean and nice and size. It rained so we didn’t get a chance to walk the trails, but we did drive-through some of the trails and it was just amazing! We were able to go to the butterflies center, which was amazing!

I liked everything about it. The front entrance, front lobby, fireplace,room and etc. The only thing I didn't like was the prices on the food. I ordered shrimps 2 orders. It was 6 shrimps to an order for $38 and some change. Nothing else came with it.

We had so much fun here! This is the ONLY resort in my area that has a hot tub. They actually have two but one was closed for maintenance. I was a little bummed out that the bar at the pool was closed down, but hopefully they will have that up and running the next visit. We enjoyed our dining experience as well. We ordered off the menu and the food was delicious!
