Great "baseball trip" vacation for a few days. Adorable city- great pool area and bar food. Workout room was good and the restaurant in the lobby was great. Lots of great restaurants in walking distance, which was nice. Highly recommend if you were going to be staying in this area.

I do feel that the hotel rooms were a bit in need of some improvements as far as upgrades and renovations. We had to have our toilet repaired, our AC was not quite up to par, and the carpet was kind of shabby. The elevators were small and dirty. The pool areas looked fantastic and the bar areas and staff were wonderful. The prices at The Cottages gift shop were insane, but the coffee was good. Overall, the experience was good and the common areas were good. I’d hope for more from the rooms and private areas.

Easy walk to the pools or restaurant. My grandkids love it because of the 3 pools and hot tub … they would stay in all day. The poolside bar offers food and frozen drinks without alcohol which they love!

Parking was convenient, the room clean, the area quiet…and the pool area and beach were phenomenal. The room could have used a microwave and a functioning fridge. They did replace the fridge.

Stayed in a king ocean front room. It was very nice and spacious. Only issue to me was the TV. there’s no guide on the tv, only a printed page inthe room it shows what stations are on what channels. So you have no way of knowing what is currently playing. When you click on a channel, there is no information as to what the show is, or any information at all. In This age it seems very antiquated and frustrating. There are some areas that seem tired and ready for a redo. Stair lights around the pool area are broken and some of the covers were completely off. Not in the pool but around the whole pool location. The path from the pool gate to the ocean is uneven and hot!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Room service and dine in service at Echo restaurant on property was fantastic. Beach was only steps away, and sunning poolside while overlooking the beach was amazing. Didn't hear other guests from inside my room at all.

There are always people who are not staying at the property using the pools and hot tubs. We pay extra to stay here to use these amenities. This time there were a lot of rude teenagers using the hot tub we were in. The last time we complained about unaccompanied minors to the fron desk, nothing was done about it. We had to tell them several Times not to splash and throw a football in the hot tub. This was met with disdain and aggression.

No room cleaning day 1, the patio in 273 looked like it should be inspected by the state for mold. It was terrible, toilet leaked and refilled itself every 10 minutes. Food was very good and wait staff was wonderful. We would not stay there again. This is the first time we have given anyone a poor rating.

our room was in need of an update. the wallpaper was coming off the wall n bathroom and white stains on the blue blankets on the end of the beds (we didn't use them when we saw the stains on it)and a blue stool had white stains on it so we didn't use it also. window in bathroom was gross and needed to be cleaned. bathroom light flickered when on my husband said it was a short in the light.

My room was dirty, the bathroom was in bad shape- the plastic of the toilet seat was peeling off. The floor and baseboards of the room were dirty, dust and hair in the corners. We were able to check out early but the hotel made no effort to make things right after I reached out to their guest service number by text. Definitely not worth the money to stay here- book elsewhere. We will not return.

The property is very pretty. Beautiful beaches and pools. The rooms were average. We were disappointed with the cleanliness. Hair in the shower, dirty sheets and couch. When the staff was told, they didn’t seem to care much. One shower was completely broken. Definitely paying for the view and access to the beach not the rooms. I would not consider these deluxe rooms

Honestly the first time we had to check out because of Hurricane Debby, so not the resorts fault. But the room had a bag of chips behind the bed nudged between the bedside table. Not good. Also black mold in the bathroom along the shower tiles. They seriously need to remodel some of the beachfront rooms because they are not as clean or attractive as they once were. In the future we will stay in the Oceania Building even though it’s not beachfront, it’s newer and cleaner. Separate toilet area makes its nicer. Echo’s Sunday Brunch was disappointing. The bar is always a fun place. The lobby people need to be more on their toes regarding helping guests with luggage or at least providing luggage carts.

Kind of an aging dump but it’s nice enough. Spacious rooms. Only issue we had was there’s virtually no sound mitigation. Heard the cleaning staff trundling their loud carts around every morning.

Love staying @ K&P. Great location ocean view and has all you need as a resort. The problem was our room had a lot of humidity and would not cool. AC would show on and cooling but then it would power off. Stayed very uncomfortable especially during the night. Bathroom had stale smell and very humid.

The rooms are very outdated. We got terrible sleep because anyone walking above your room sounds like an elephant. We enjoyed the pool and beach, but the rooms are not good.

The overall experience was above average. However, the management needs to reinforce the importance of having front desk employees display a positive attitude when resolving guest issues. In our case, there was an issue with our initial room, and we were moved. The worker responsible for the move had an I don’t care attitude. The rest of the stay was positive and there were many other employees who are to commended for high service levels and friendliness.

Room was great Service sucked waited 30 min for a drink at bar ten waited 30 more to get someone to take a food order This was after we were told the restaurant was not avail not even on a wait list saw a lot of waiters standing around and empty tables unfortunately all other restaurants in area were closed due to holiday. Hotel should have made us aware before taken booking Bad stay here so we bailed out even though we would have stayed a few more days Hotel lost

When checking in the hotel had given my room to someone else. Instead of apologizing, they told me go sit down and wait while they tried to figure it out. After about 30 minutes of waiting, I walked back to the counter and the manager dismissively said they had a room for me and then walked off. No apology or acknowledgement that I had been treated like I did something wrong. On top of that, the room we were given had an AC that will not stop running. Our room remains freezing.

Sorry to say this; the front desk staff was at best indifferent. Arrived approximately 40 min early, she took our credentials- then, your room’s not ready yet. That’s it. Next. I asked what to do with my car-“ park it on the street” What! Then he said no the lot. Not a lot of excess hospitality in play here. Facilities were satisfactory mens bathroom was covered with water as all the kiddos from the pool were running around. Since our last visit this property has turned into Myrtle beach - yikes! Screaming kids in the restaurant and all. The quality of food for dinner was way above average as well as our server (DJ). I know it sounds like I’m cranky but, facing service could use some training on initial impressions and their importance in the circle of customer service. Will we spend another anniversary here…hmmm, doubtful. It’s a rollicking place for young families if you want quiet (relative) and upscale you maybe disappointed.

When I checked in the front desk clerk asked for a credit card for incidentals and never discussed there being a resort fee. I paid thru hotels.com and was not informed of additional fees so was surprised to see additional charges on my cc statement that I was unaware of.

The resort is lovely. The lobby is large and opens up to the large bar area which faces the ocean along with the restaurant and adjacent to the pool. The shuttle to the golf and the golf course were lovely.

Great location on beach. Room with a view is a must. Service folks were mostly great. Person who checked me out wasn't. Apparently didn't like Expedia people. Said I would get a receipt from Expedia, which I didn't but didn't want to give me a check out receipt. I should have reported him but didn't want to take the time.

Excellent place to stay. So many things to do, eat, drink right at the resort and you can also walk right onto the beach. A few minutes walk or drive off property and there's so many shops, restaurants and things to see too. A great, relaxing, adventurous and entertaining get away.

Everything was wonderful, the Echo was delicious with a great atmosphere. The room was decorated nicely, it was too cold for swimming but the pools looked perfect. I wish the front desk would have mentioned there was an additional $20.00 per day added onto the charges. We booked through Hotels.com and was not aware of these hidden costs at the hotel.

The King and Prince Resort is a nice place to visit. You can walk to the beach, hang out at the pool and other things. My only complaint is the Echo restaurant. The first night we went to Echo and had the "Special" Prime Rib Dinner. The twice baked potato looked like it was left in the oven for a day. Although Prime Rib is supposed to be juicy and succulent, this was dry and over done. It looked like they seared the cut for way to long and then put it under the broiler to finish. The breakfasts were extremely salty and who charges $7.00 for 2 eggs as a side? We were there for a wedding and the steak that was the dinner was again extremely over cooked. So if you stay here, which is a nice resort, just plan on eating off-site for every meal and you will have a great time.

Beautiful facilities with outstanding service. Right on the beach which was nice. Food was outstanding with the exception of the Christmas Brunch The food was cold, undercooked, and the cost was outrageous. Next Christmas trip we will skip the holiday brunch and simply eat in the Echo restaurant with the great food there. Loved this place!
