Sea Palms Resort

Centipede galore! Placed on the third floor of a building with a broken elevator the entire stay.

A very well laid out development. The resort does need updating/upgrading its ADA compliance. We found the ramps to be TOO STEEP for Walker / wheel chair use. The shower stalls can do with Grab Bars. The staff was wonderful !

The check in process was super simple and pleasant. The room location was a little inconvenient to the parking lot, but not a big deal. The room was HUGE, clean and comfy. The staff was also very kind and accommodating (we needed an extra blanket, towels and washcloths the evening of our arrival) the view was beautiful and interesting (turtles, gators and birds near/in the pond), the pool was perfect, great customer service from the gate to the pool bar! We really enjoyed the weekend as a whole. The only issue I ran into was when packing my vehicle. There were no carts to take all of our things down in 1 trip (3rd floor) so we took 2 trips and came back up for the last few things and were locked out (it was 11:01 per our neighbor who was kind enough to let us use their phone to call the front desk) The lady at the front desk stated she was unable to send anyone to unlock the door that we had to come to the front desk. Super annoying when I had to load kids up and drive around to the office just to retrieve a few more items. A grace period would be nice. I ran into a Maintenace guy on the way back up and he stated, "not sure why she didn't just call us to help you" All in all we would definitely stay again! Loved the discount through Expedia as well! Everything in Brunswick was $450 for the weekend!

Super nice property. Loved that we could get a free ride to a restaurant that evening and he came back and picked us up. He was super kind and knew a lot of information about the area and where to eat.

Property was quiet and clean. Sago's was convenient and had live entertainment on the weekend.

Was informed upon check-in that the pool/tiki bar was closed for a private event. Although we were offered passes to another resort's pool, that resort was 15+ minutes away and not convenient or feasible for us due to having early dinner reservations. Had I known that the pool/tiki bar would be closed, I would have booked at another resort. In addition, I paid for a "sea/bay view" room which we were not given. Instead, we had a view of the golf course/lagoon. The resort was nice overall, but the above factors would prevent me from staying here again.

This place is such a secret oasis. Well off the beaten path I f lanais, Sea Palms offers serenity and comfort at a great price. I was here for an event that was at a different property but it was nice to return back to condo for a little peace. I would recommend to anyone who likes to golf, or just to get away for the weekend. Lots to do at the resort, with Trivia night on Mondays and other activities, why would you go anywhere else. I will be back!!

Golf course was in good condition but overpriced.

I truly loved the Sea Palms Resort. It was quiet. It was safe. It was convenient. The scenery from The Pelican rooms was magnificent! Although we went to Gould's Inlet for sunrises, we could see them without leaving the bed (the last day there). I wish the pool stayed open later than 8PM. However, this was far enough from the touristy hustle & bustle near the pier, but close enough to drive to the pier for more dining and shopping options.

Beautiful property, first resort I've stayed at that didn't have room service. Would have been nice if the pool was open until 10pm like the gym. Our room was out of body wash when we checked in. Still a nice place to stay, local area was great to explore

Great view and room was large, updated and spotless.

Shower door had mold and roach in our bed requested bed to be changed and shower clean only the bed was changed. Staff didn't seem to have a great concern over our issues.

there were mildew stains on the pillows.. i didnt see till it was too late for it too really matter.

Not even close to being worth the money. These are the reasons why? Rooms not cleaned daily thus no clean towels Garbage thrown next to door not picked up for two days Shampoo dispenser not checked thus empty Golf course closed for the two days I stayed with no notice. Hot water did not stay hot for more than five minutes Front desk person had no idea of the wedding festivities when twenty people were staying on premises. Front desk personnel didn’t even know when their restaurant closed. Very very disappointed. Not worth the money I paid. Stay away…..

Impeccably clean, beautiful views.

So I got married on July 29th a Saturday, and me and my now wife stayed there Friday and our wedding night that Saturday on the 8th of July. When we arrived, there was no body wash and two bloody Band-Aids in the bottom left corner of our shower. When we called in the morning to ask for body wash, it took 2 1/2 hours to arrive. Nobody explained the housekeeping situation when we checked in 100% they did not, the lady who checked us was very nice, and said she had only been working there for three weeks at the time, so it makes sense as to why maybe she didn’t mention it. I’m not sure, but regardless not our fault. I paid over $400 to sleep in a dirty bed two nights and have literal used bloody band aids in the shower. On top of all of that, I called and notify them a week in advance It was our wedding weekend into maybe leave something in the room even if it was just a note when we check in, nothing crazy, and even though they did acknowledge our wedding when we checked in verbally, there was nothing in the room showing it when we walked in. Even though the customer service interactions were pleasant, the proper actions weren’t taken prior to checking in and during this stat, overall, just an unpleasant stay

Beautiful property. Our double queen suite had a gorgeous view of the marsh and the room was very nice. Check-in was a little off, but I completely understood-they were transitioning to new Hilton systems, having been recently affiliated and they were apologetic. I totally understood that. I did notice on check-in that the tub and toilet did not appear to have been recently cleaned. I went to the front desk and let them know - the Housekeeping Director was there and told me he and staff would get over immediately to take care of that, which they did. He gave me his card and told me not to hesitate to call if we had any further problems. My daughter-in-law and 18 month-old grandson were with me on the trip. Within 20 minutes of my grandson walking barefoot in the room, his feet were literally black. I later ran into the Housekeeping Director on the property and told him about the dirty floors and asked if they could please come and clean the floors, since my grandson was playing on these floors. He told me the floors were recently installed, and they were trying to "work through it." We were there from Wed-Sat and after being promised the floors would be cleaned two times, they never were. We had an additional room for Thurs-Fri and floors were equally dirty. Upon checkout, I was told that glue was coming up on the floors, it was not dirt. After showing the picture of my grandson's feet, they comped a room night. We would stay again if they can get the floors clean!!!

While the surrounding views were breathtaking on the property, the room we stayed in had an infestation of what appeared to be tent caterpillars in the bathroom crawling on the walls and floors

Beautiful resort. My only complaint were the floors were really dirty. Really needed to keep your shoes or slippers on. Other than that everything was perfect.

Checked in at 4pm and the room was warm and muggy. We turned on the AC and got dressed to go out to dinner. We came back and went to bed. I woke up at 2am sweating. The AC was not kicking on, just the fan. We called the front desk and they did not do anything due to it being in the middle of the night. I just cannot justify the amount we spent for an uncomfortable stay. Thankfully we haven’t hit full summer time and it wasn’t too hot during the night.

Beautiful property. More timeshare like than hotel. Almost didn’t book it because we like interior corridor room doors. So glad we didn’t miss out on this. Third floor (of three) with marsh views. Very private, even out on the balcony. Could star gaze. Very clean room, comfortable bed. Closed the room darkening curtains so we could sleep in a bit, but forgot about the loft windows. Saw a beautiful sunrise! Quiet A/C. Only complaint was that we couldn’t reach the front desk, tried at night and in the morning to ask about finding ice. Asked when we checked out and they got a nice size bag for us from the kitchen area. Didn’t use any amenities. Will stay there again.

Bathroom - spiders in shower. Shower would take forever to heat and then go freezing cold without warning. Toilet with hair when first arrived. Sent hotel a question about doing anything for anniversary - no response.

One night getaway. Chose this hotel based price and proximity/location to St. Simons. Overall happy with the hotel and our brief stay. Nothing too special unless you're an avid golfer. Very loud if you're on the bottom floors. You can hear every footstep and every door that gets slammed or shut.

I was in town for a work event, but couldn't get into our conference location until the day after arriving. I found this gem. Spacious and updated rooms - great views. Highly recommend.

Overall our stay was great and we would definitely stay again! When we got to our room the HVAC unit was not working. Maintenance was called and quickly came to reset it. We left to go eat and returned and it was not fixed, but they had already started the process of moving us to a different room. Our daughter loved the pool!

Love the bedroom and the shower just wish bigger TV and thicker walls

First impression were great, best thing about this sray was GiGi and her superb customer service. She greeted us promptly, got us taken care and gave us recommendations and information about the surrounding area. Was a stellar example of how top tier company representation can enhance an establishment. The property itself was well taken care of. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Only complaint would be that the water pressure could be better but it was instantly hot so no complaints. 7 out of 5 stars. Would recommend and stay again

I had to clean grime in the corners and bottom of glass and door trim in the shower. Also, we are handicapped and asked twice for coffee and never received it.

Unfortunately, there is no 24 hour staff so when the party started outside my room at 3 am and continued to 5 when I decided to get up and drive back home as sleep was not happening. I saw a security guard and he did nothing. I called the hotel and no one got back to me and I was charged a full rate. Don’t stay if you plan on sleeping.

Check in was listed for 4pm we finally got our room at 5:30!!

Requested a marsh view and we overlooked the golf course. We checked in late Friday and woke up to take a shower on Saturday water was cold. The shower water stayed cold the entire stay, never got hot. Requested more towels, toilet tissue and trash emptied on Sunday around 11 am, went to office again at 3pm still not received and had to call again around 6 to get someone to finally bring us items. There was a small trash can outside where we parked our car and it was full and overflowing Saturday and was still overflowing with same trash Monday when we checked out.

Overall awesome experience! Loved the friendly staff including Jalescia, Hannah and Tyler! We love our spacious room and the amenities we also enjoyed with our booking! The onsite restaurant is yummy, convenient and well-managed…thank you! We could walk to a fun, quiet place for breakfast and enjoy the grounds on our way! St Simons has a lot to offer…we will be back VERY soon! Thank you!!!!

Service has gone down hill In the last year. No one at check in when we arrived, doors were locked, had to wait 15 minutes outside at 12:30am. Room was very cold, had to google the thermostat brand to understand how to get the heat on. Elevator broken for 18 hours, breakfast buffet cold..,

I’ve stayed at Sea Palms a couple times and found everything to be top notch. With a little hitch on checking in due to a large contingency of power line crews moving out on the way to the hurricane devastated in Florida Sea Palms provided a very nice suite upgrade.

I liked the location. The facility was beautiful and well kept. I didn't like having no cleaning services or breakfast before 11am.

Excellent spot to stay on the island. Worth the money. Located away from downtown, with two different routes available to take to the beach. Staff if great here. I’d book this location anytime I’m on Saint Simon's.

We stayed for three days. Staff was very friendly and accommodating as we wanted to add another night. Clean, and within 5-15 car drive to shopping and restaurants. We mainly left our car parked and biked to where we wanted to go. Bike paths will get you safely to where you want to go.

A wonderful hidden gem! Peaceful and relaxing. Close to everything. We had a great stay and will come again!

It backs up to the marshes. Each room has a screened in patio for bird watching. The rooms are well appointed and the dining on property is a quick walk from your room. Plenty of small shops and grocery stores near by.

Played in the GSGA tournament at Sea Palms. The rooms were great, clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. Thanks to the staff for accommodating our need for a late checkout due to our tournament. The on-site restaurant was very good, the bang-bang shrimp were great. Out wives enjoyed the pool side cabanas nice way to spend the day while we were playing golf.

Restaurant for dinner was exceptional. Staff was excellent and attended to all our needs. However, wish we could have obtained a regular breakfast on Sunday instead of the brunch option. We did not stay for brunch and located another place for breakfast.

The Sago Restaurant was not very good we ate there on two separate occasions, our waitress was over taxed also No ice, machine was broke, had a problem with the coffee machine but they did bring us a new and also the pool area was really not up to par for a Resort Area Definitely needs some upgrades The room was very comfortable and the view was fabulous of the Marsh We did enjoy our stay in St. Simmons it’s a great little Island

I had to call three times about the dog that was barking and jumping around above me. It was terrible. The restaurant was very good but my husband had to wait forever for his meal. We were all done dinner and his meal came out. I thought under the circumstances they might have comp his meal.

Exceptioal! The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. The room was spotless, the restaurant was very good. The only problem: The key card didn't always work and had to be reprogrammed a couple of times. Would definitely come back.

We booked this last minute and it did not disappoint! Our room was huge, everything was updated, nice view, beds very comfortable, very clean. The restaurant was affordable and very good! Room had refrigerator and microwave. We didn't partake in the $22 breakfast.

We were so excited to take our family summer trip. We arrived around 6pm or so. We went and found or room with the door already opened, we walked in and started to unpack, then to realize the key doesn't work to that room, we were actually staying in the joined room. So then we had to pack back up and move rooms. We then decided to go grab food at the hotel restaurant, and visit the pool. We got Shrimp and Grits, two kids got Mac and cheese sides, one kids meal, my husband ordered a wrap. We were charged for 3 kids meals, which was completely incorrect. After it was finally corrected We were able to get that fixed, and we went to the pool. It was a quiet pool, and we enjoyed our time in it. We then dried off and went to our room. It was about 830Pm. We decided to order the kids a quick bite Door Dash, because they said their Mac and Cheese from the hotel restaurant tasted like rotten cheese, ( my husband agreed that it was pretty bad, but we did not complain.) They received their quick bite, they got baths and we were ready to climb in bed for a lovely night of sleep around 10pm. Well that was interrupted by jumping above that sounded like someone was going to come through our ceiling, ad loud music. We called the front desk, and they said they would send out security. Security came ad they wouldnt stop so at 1030 we had to move our 3 kids to another room.
