They don’t actually have a gym despite advertising it as an amenity. The floors were gross, and it’s smelled weird out in the hallway staff were very kind and accommodating

The staff was polite and helpful. The rooms were old. Duct tape on the A/C, leaky toilet. The carpet was stained and hasn’t been cleaned in years. The mattress was stained and old. We found trash and clothing under/near the bed from the previous occupant. Just makes you wonder what else they didn’t clean between occupants. Breakfast was minimal, nothing special. No pool. The area surrounding the hotel was not the best.

Hotel was clean & comfortable- the public restroom was out of order, the business center didn’t have a printer, and the breakfast was waffles plus continental- no hot offerings. It was within walking distance to several restaurants. It was ok for an overnight stay. There are always things that the employees could be doing in the evening when it’s quiet except to stand outside by the front and smoke!

Furniture was stained as was the bed comforter. Front desk staff were rude, had to call the property while at the check in/out desk as no one was there. In the fitness room there were a bunch of broken AC units sitting on the floor.

Place needs updating. Light fixture hanging down from ceiling, toilet was dirty, hard bed, large crack in ceiling. Gym had spare a/c units as storage, boxes, and little equipment. Staff at night was later back in chair watching phone, barely even visible. Could hear the person upstairs with every step. Place just not taken care of. Thankfully was only there for a few hours before early flight.

Convenient location with food and gas stations nearby. The staff was nice but talked to each other more than to us.The hotel and rooms need repair. Our curtains were slashed and moth-eaten, the door looked like it had been kicked in, and the bathtub needed complete re-sealing. The shower head was coming off the wall.

This hotel is very clean and the staff is outstanding. There are no amenities whatsoever which is the only negative I can think of. It is about a 15 minute drive to arrive at all the restaurants and downtown areas where food is plentiful and nightlife is as well. The only reason I do not give this hotel a five-star rating is because of the lack of a manatees. Otherwise if you just want a great place to sleep and a clean place and a comfy bed and this would be it.

I stayed here just for an overnight stop. The room did have a bit of a smell, but the bed and sheets were very comfortable—I slept like a baby! The location was super convenient with easy highway access and gas stations nearby. A couple of downsides: the lobby bathroom was closed for repairs, and the side entrance railing was broken. The breakfast bar in the morning was very basic, but I was able to grab my coffee there and pick up breakfast at the gas station next door.

Hotel was not the cleanest. Comforter had blood and stains on it. Walls and ceiling were dirty. Breakfast if you want to call it that was pretty sad. Bathroom is super small. Not sure how this hotel has a 9/10 rating.

Was shocked to see such high ratings yet be given a room that had an overwhelming musky smell in it. It felt humid and damp in the room which led to not the best night of sleep. Room appeared clean but the smell just over powered my whole experience. Would not book again as there are so many other options in the area.

I’ll start out by saying all of the hotel staff we interacted with were very friendly, but that’s where the positives really end. This property is in a really sketchy location. I see where they responded to someone in another review, assuring them the location was safe, but it absolutely doesn’t feel safe. We were approached by people asking for money in the parking lot and there were people loitering outside the building nightly. The non-smoking property smelled like marijuana in the lobby. The rest of the hotel smelled extremely musty. There were stains and grime of various degrees throughout the room and on linens. We did not ask for another room or make a complaint because we didn’t feel like it was likely that any other room in the property would be any better. Had we not purchased a non-refundable weekend, we would have left. Will not stay again.

For the price, it was good. The hotel was clean and rooms were clean, which is important to me. The beds and pillows were pretty comfortable. If you like plush though, the bed isn’t that. Our room had two little issues, you had to hold the lever for the toilet to flush properly and the a/c got a bit loud at times. With that said, it wasn’t enough for me to call maintenance about, but if I had stayed more than 2 nights, I would have. There was some traffic noise, but to be expected a bit when you are that close to the interstate. So, would I stay there again, maybe. Especially, if I was trying to keep my costs down.

Limited breakfast items. Room was very dark withdark, brown, blackout curtains that could not be opened because the parking lot was right there. I had to ask for my refrigerator to be turned up because it was not cold enough. It had to be pulled out access dial on the back.

The room was very comfortable. The environment was mostly quiet but for a few slammed doors, which is not a big deal. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The coolness of the room in this hot weather was perfect. The only thing I noticed that was not perfect was the mirror above the sink had some water marks on it. I don’t think many people would have even noticed, and it’s the smallest complaint I can think of. Lastly, the staff was wonderful and allowed us to have an hour late check out, which we appreciated so very much!

Friendly staff. A little trouble signing in but it got taken care of. My bathroom sink seemed to have little water pressure, but not to the point where I needed to worry about it. The property is close to a railway line, and it was noisy at times. Overall perfect for what I needed

I appreciated the easy parking, friendly staff, comfortable bed mattress, and breakfast. Unfortunately the room was really humid/sticky despite the AC being on and the floors of the room above us creaked so loudly that I could not sleep at the entire night.

We had to arrive here early as we had flown in on a red eye. Normal check in time is 3pm but we had a wedding to get ready for. The staff were extremely helpful and were able to get us into our room early. I would definitely look to stay here again when I am back in Cedar Rapids.

Booked a king room and was given a double queen. The morning staff was rude and lazy about keep the breakfast items stocked. The front desk employee was sitting at the front counter cursing out someone on the phone while 8 -10 guest were sitting in the breakfast lounge area and could hear her everything she was saying.

The internet is horrible and the front desk doesn’t seem to care so I guess that isn’t awesome. I have to use my own data to plan on top of paying for a hotel? Again, it’s bad and no one who works cares, you won’t get any resolution. They won’t attempt to reboot or fix it. That’s been my latest experience.
