Super 8 by Wyndham Indianola

Terrible breakfast. There was no bread. The hotel has several out of order equipment.

We were in town for the thanksgiving holiday. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We had zero issues checking in and checking out. Parking was free and convenient.

We got here to check in around 11:15 pm and left the next morning around 7 am. Nit much on breakfast, the only thing hit was waffles and the juice machine was broken so we went to McDonalds down the road and it was awful.

The front desk attendant was nice. Upon entrance, the place smelled of smoke, the air was completely off in the room, unit took quite a while to cool- but felt great after it finally did. The tv wasn't working properly- maintainence had to come in to install new cables. One sheet was stained, rodent trap & packaging was left in the trash can, repairs made with exposed plaster. Continental breakfast? Spoiled waffle mix, not fresh milk, muffins were fresh, juice & beverages- out of order machine, water machine- out of order, cereal plentiful and stale, apples had seen better days. Really nice wall art of B.B.King.

The accommodations were very good; clean conveniently located; good parking. The down side, they stop serving breakfast too early 😞.

The outside of the location needs to cleaned up, painting, landscaping, and lighting. When I walked to the front door to check in, I was hit by this strong scent of marijuana emitting from the lobby area. This scent could be smelled throughout the first, and second floors of the building for my two day stay. The hallways on both floors were dimly light, and the carpet needs replacing. The room itself was clean but the furniture, carpet, etc. needs to be replaced.

My stay was good. I expected the pool to be still there. Instead a garden was being growed

First and foremost the place had roaches. The guy at the desk sounded shocked to hear but didn't offer a refund. The mattress was stiff and the toilet seat was brocken. All in all a bad experience. Never will I stay at a SUPER 8 again

Roaches were in the room. One climbed up the wall, another one out the bed, and others crawling around — do not recommend this hotel.

This place was very dirty and the entire hotel smelled of smoke. Didn’t feel comfortable to sleep under the covers. Had to lay towels down to walk around the room because it wasn’t clean. The TV wouldn’t work properly.

The bathroom had hair in tub, on floor, and around the sink.

Room and bathroom were clean. Nice bathtub/shower, plenty of room for two people. Quiet hotel. Overall, the hotel is great for the price. I will definitely be staying again.

My stay was clean, great TV channel options. Room was clean and comfortable. The workers were good people doing their best to provide a come back and stay with us confidence and if I'm back in the area again I would gladly book with them.

My overall stay was nice rooms nice and clean house keeping was nice provided us with more towels and cleaned our rooms when we left out for the day only problem we had was the breakfast it wasnt hitting on nothing room had cofee pot which was great

The whole property was dingy and just in a general state of disrepair. It also is right on the main road in town and my room was facing the road so I heard traffic noises all night. Not the worst place I’ve ever stayed in, but I wouldn’t go back.

needs new matresses

I have stayed at this hotel for years. This property is not as good as it use to be. There needs to be some upgrades made to the inside to include new mattresses.

Just okay. Poor water pressure in shower and bed was lumpy.

Room and bathroom were clean. Nice bathtub/shower, plenty of room for two people. Quiet hotel. Overall, the hotel is great for the price. I will definitely be staying again.

The advertisement was false because it said I had a room with a jet bathtub and the front desk was asleep and drunk,smelled like alcohol and said they had a room available but it was ten dollars more. I paid a hundred dollars and drove out of my way because of the advertisement. Waste of money!

Check in went better than expected. Got all information needed for my stay

We walked in bottom floor smelled like skunk covered up with a horrible cheap cologne and bleach is the only way I know how to explain the smell. But after being in the car for 18 hours we was gonna try it. Got to the room and and it was awful the couch was busted, the bed was very uncomfortable and after about 5 minutes my wife began to have an allergic reaction from the cleaner or horrible air freshener they where using. Couldn’t get a refund at the time so I had to go rent a room at the Hampton. Called the manager the next morning explained that I was told to call in the morning and he tells me “you was in the room for 2 hours” I told him I absolutely was not explained the situation further the whole time he was being rude even acted like I was lying because it took me a minute to find my receipt with my room number on it eventually he did give me a refund but wasn’t happy about it. Long story short STAY FAR AWAY from this hotel I’ve stayed in some cheap motels that was low quality but this was by FAR the worst I’ve ever seen!

I made a booking online and took a taxi there two hours early, because their website said that early check-in was possible, and I've never had any problems with this at other Super 8 hotels. However, I was yelled at by an angry manager who told me that if I wanted to check in, I had to pay an additional 40&. I said okay, I'll wait two hours in the lobby.But he kicked me and another person who came early outside in the heat and said that we couldn't stay there and that we had to clean it. I canceled and walked to a nearby hotel. Please return my money.

Clean, quiet, relaxing and centrally located within most of the local restaurants and businesses! I believe so far it's been a great decision for the business trip!

The room was kinda smelly but once we got the air on it became better. The a/c did not really cool the whole room until I turned it all the way down. The breakfast was really non existent. Had corn flakes, waffles and coffee. That’s it!

I rarely write reviews, but I feel this is necessary. The desk clerk was really friendly, upon checking in. We booked a non smoking room, which it seemed to be, but there was a horrible stench of weed outside and in the hallway. The room was decent. Beds were pretty comfortable. The toilet water was yellow. Breakfast was continental, so we weren’t expecting much. The seats at the table were stained. It was a nice surprise to see a waffle maker—until we tried making waffles. The batter was VERY watered down. When the timer went off, the waffle was thin, sticking to the waffle maker AND uncooked inside. There were about 30 packets of sweetener, I had to pick through just to find 5 that hadn’t been wet and then dried. I wasn’t expecting a 5 star experience, but I definitely expected better from Super 8, especially for $107 a night. It’s ok for a quick overnight trip, but I wouldn’t recommend it for longer than that. The best thing about it was the awesome BB King Mural painted on the wall, behind the front desk. Hopefully they’ll make updates soon to reflect the price. Right now, it shouldn’t cost over $50-$55 to book, so it seems that I need a partial refund. :)

Nice place to stay for the budget minded. Place felt safe and comfortable. Needs much improvement in breakfast management. Not desirable only tolerable
