The motel is very generic. I asked about breakfast and was told that it was not available as there was a full kitchen in the room so I could prepare my own. Kitchen: no plates, no cups, no glasses, no bowls, not nothing. One knife and one fork. There was a very bright light on all night on the area directly in front of the rooms. The blind was not large enough to cover the entire window hence, it was very bright in the room all night. Outside was filled with smokers.

It was a pretty good little spot in Ocala, a good middle ground between the terrible smaller hotels in the area, and the $3-400 downtown places. The room was large with a full kitchen that I didn't utilize, (bring your own pots and pans?) and a clean, well kept bathroom. The bed was quite firm, my arm kept falling asleep as a side sleeper.

This place is very Spartan, but in a good way. TV is large 4K, full-size refrigerator, full stove, microwave, air conditioner is quiet and efficient and spacious walk-in shower.. So is comfortable. Suggestions: Toaster, since NO dishwasher and new sponge in a wrapper, shelf for bathroom at sink, a better cutting knife.

Building has been completly remodeled. Everything is new. Staff are very nice and friendly. Bed was a little hard for my liking. No toaster or frying pan.

Very great hotel. Very clean fresh paint. Nice Decour nice ambience nice location very nice suites. And I will stay here again. Very close to food stores. I couldn't ask for anything else. Actually I could ask for the ice machine that's it.

I think there needs to be a better elevator. The one here is EXTREMELY SLOW. This is the second visit the elevator stopped on us. I’m disabled and had to struggle to get up and down the stairs. Also this trip, the air conditioning stopped working and we had to open a window to get some cool air. But I will definitely come back, I’m sure they have it all fixed

The room was clean and even had a full size refrigerator and stove. A pleasant surprise so we decided to stay longer than intended. The hotel is undergoing renovation so the breakfast room was not open, but they provided fruit, breakfast sandwiches, granola bars, coffee, tea, and juice. The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Our special thanks to Christie who helped to return a bag that we left behind. The location was convenient. We will definitely stay at the Baymont Ocala on our next trip.

The room was fine, but somewhat impersonal. Apparently they took an old motel, updated as much as they could, which is good, but it still has the look and feel of an old hotel. They didn’t serve “breakfast”. Supposedly the breakfast room was being remodeled, but it looked like no work was being done, just that they wanted a reason to advertise breakfast, but get off cheap. They had a couple of breakfast bars in the office and a couple of kinds of fruit—that they handed you, if you wanted it.., and coffee and tea. Anyway, the staff were nice, room was clean, but for the price, I would go somewhere else—not like any BAYMONT I’ve ever stayed in.

This is a nice, clean place and is very conveniently located. Do not expect an a lot of extra amenities but it has all the necessities for both the bath and full kitchen. It's well maintained, the parking lot is well lit and check in was a breeze. I would stay again.

The cabinet area under the bathroom sink had a large braided hairpiece, a hair ribbon, empty feminine product wrapper and other debris! Clean the entire room and remove ALL remnants of a previous guest! Yuck!

It had a decent kitchen with full size appliances, it appears to have been updated recently. It wasn't filthy but it wasn't cleaned well either. I don't believe the shower walls were clean at all. I wasn't thrilled to smell pot outside of the building but overall it worked for the 12 hours we were there

2 night stay. The room size was great and front desk staff great. The room looked clean initially. But we found the floor to be extremely dirty. It ruined a pair of socks by just walking across the room. The rest of the room seemed to be clean. We opted to wear our shoes while inside.

The outside was well lit and no issues with parking. Exterior looked clean and appeared recently painted. As for the stay.... The first room we were given stunk so bad of stale smoked marijuana my little girl wouldn't even go in the room. Fortunately, we were assigned to another room but that room was so dirty we didn't sleep under the covers and kept our shoes on while walking in the room. Needless to say, we did not get a good night sleep:(

The staff was very thoughtful. The accommodations however were less than favorable. It was extremely dirty and had roaches. Under the beds were not swept and it was obvious that the floors were not mopped. The air conditioning needed to be cleaned as the dust affected my sinuses. The bed sheets had stains on them and they need to change out their towels to white so as to be better able to sanitize them (wash in bleach). The place felt more like a motel than an hotel by Wyndham. Overall I would not stay here again neither would I recommend anyone to.

Very nice place a newer place basically a studio apartment refrigerator stove microwave nice bed (king) quiet area but still located where stores, restaurants, banks, pharmacies. If in the area I would definitely recommend it of course I would choose this place again

Room was spacious, kitchenette was great, bathroom roomy, quite clean, bed comfy, price amazing! Felt safe. The only downside were the thin walls and noise in other rooms through the night. We were only passing through so don't know much about surroundings. Would be a great place for a week or longer if you are not a light sleeper or wear earplugs. It was a good experience.

We were expecting a suite. The kitchen area had a full size refrigerator and stove/oven. There were lots of drawers and cupboard space - totally empty! You must furnish everything if you plan to eat there - pots, pans, plates, glassware, cups, utensils. We were planning to stay for a full week. This "suite" was not acceptable. The area where the bed was bare except for the bed. There were no night stands ( my husband uses a CPAP and needed somewhere to set up his machine. No lighting in the bed area, no furniture except the bed and dresser and the one little lamp on the dresser across from the bed that put out very little light. There were no chairs to relax in except for two hard back small chairs and a small square dining table that was between the dresser and the refrigerator. The room was clean, but really bare bones - not what I was expecting a suite to look like.This place was totally unacceptable for us.

Kyle was very helpful over the phone. The room was clean and nicely appointed. There were some sugar ants that were present on the sink countertop in the bathroom, but that is a small issue. The BIG issue was the ceilingof the first floor/floor of the second floor must be paper thin. I listened to loud walking, banging, and even yelling for several hours while I should have been sleeping. I know the hotel is limited in what it can do when obnoxious guests are on site, but it was very frustrating for me to have paid a decent sum to NOT sleep. If I stay here again, I will demand a second floor room.

Breakfast room was closed. After 17 hr drive, we checked in and my brother showered and discovered exactly one towel in bathroom, and then we discovered that the TV didn’t work. Packed up again and moved to room next door. A/C was very weak and one bed had absolutely no firmness at all.

Our short stay was agreeable even if the tv was not working, it was really nice after looking for houses to jump in a nice warm and strong shower. Really easy to access the room with limited interaction with Office manager, all automated.

They are very unorganized. They need better group for house keeping. The rooms are supposed to be ready by 2 pm we got there after 3 and they didn’t have our room ready. Well they did but the room had no linen, was dirty, smelled bad like cigarettes and had lots of garbage. I think with better front desk training and new housekeeping the place would be better. They tried. My brother in law got there around 6 or so and his room wasn’t ever ready. At one point due to people’s complaints we saw the manager, front desk clerk and housekeepers carrying mattresses across the parking lot. They say they are switching over to a winham hotel but I don’t think I’ll go there again. They are friendly though

I was asked if i would be arriving after 5pm and if so they would provide the access code to the room. I replied and let them know i would be arriving very late and that i needed the code early. They replied saying i would get it the day of the reservation. When i landed from my flight i looked and no access code. I called, messaged via expedia and left a voicemail on the phone # with zero reply. i ended up sitting outside of their office preparing to sleep in my car and saw someone walk past the dark office window. I was able to get them to get me access to me room but not after sitting my car for hours. When i get in the room, the bed cover had a large brown stain on it. Lord knows what it was. I had paid for 3 nights. slept a little and then left first night not to return and got a hotel else where. Horrible experience.

Let me start by saying how bad of an experience we had when arriving tired and not been able to have a place to sleep because it was over booked and apparently it happened to a lot of other people. We definitely not book here again.

The hotel is undergoing renovation so the breakfast room was not open, but they provided fruit, breakfast sandwiches, granola bars, coffee, tea, and juice. The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Our special thanks to Christie who helped to return a bag that we left behind. The location was convenient. We will definitely stay at the Baymont Ocala on our next trip.

Prior to arriving they charged my account the full amount, then upon arrival refused to allow us to see the room prior to checking in, refused service and did not issue a full refund as he indicated he would. Stayed here to visit Silver Springs State Park and it was a great choice for us. It costs less than others closer to the park, and based upon reviews, was better than many, esp for the cost. The beds were comfortable, the shower was fine, the Wifi worked well, and the staff was great. Overall the room was quite nice, and the drive to the park was easy. Would we stay here again? Absolutely! We'd have added another night to our stay if we didn't have to travel so far to our next destination.

Suited my needs for a week long stay in Ocala. Quite centrally, conveniently located. The suites are quite generic, well equipped for self sufficiency and a longer term guest. Nice entertainment options on the TV service. My only wish would be for a full length mirror perhaps. Quiet, and my only interaction with staff was cordial my requests handled efficiently. Should be on a positive consideration list, for self sufficient folks.

The motel is very generic. I asked about breakfast and was told that it was not available as there was a full kitchen in the room so I could prepare my own. Kitchen: no plates, no cups, no glasses, no bowls, not nothing. One knife and one fork. There was a very bright light on all night on the area directly in front of the rooms. The blind was not large enough to cover the entire window hence, it was very bright in the room all night. Outside was filled with smokers.

This place is like brand new. Only complaint is despite full kitchen, no accessories like plates silverware, pans. Worst was no disposable drinking glasses for teeth brushing, no cofffemaker and no hairdryer. No one travels with a hairdryer anymore. Staff was awesome, guy at check in couldn’t have been nicer.

It was a pretty good little spot in Ocala, a good middle ground between the terrible smaller hotels in the area, and the $3-400 downtown places. The room was large with a full kitchen that I didn't utilize, (bring your own pots and pans?) and a clean, well kept bathroom. The bed was quite firm, my arm kept falling asleep as a side sleeper.

The property, grounds and room were superb. Very clean with a kitchen and towels of course. The only thing you should be aware of is that other than the usual TP there are no Kleenex or paper towels nor any coffee maker. No bother for us since we always bring our own. Very easy check in and out.

This place is very Spartan, but in a good way. TV is large 4K, full-size refrigerator, full stove, microwave, air conditioner is quiet and efficient and spacious walk-in shower.. So is comfortable. Suggestions: Toaster, since NO dishwasher and new sponge in a wrapper, shelf for bathroom at sink, a better cutting knife.

The room was fine, but somewhat impersonal. Apparently they took an old motel, updated as much as they could, which is good, but it still has the look and feel of an old hotel. They didn’t serve “breakfast”. Supposedly the breakfast room was being remodeled, but it looked like no work was being done, just that they wanted a reason to advertise breakfast, but get off cheap. They had a couple of breakfast bars in the office and a couple of kinds of fruit—that they handed you, if you wanted it.., and coffee and tea. Anyway, the staff were nice, room was clean, but for the price, I would go somewhere else—not like any BAYMONT I’ve ever stayed in.

This is a nice, clean place and is very conveniently located. Do not expect an a lot of extra amenities but it has all the necessities for both the bath and full kitchen. It's well maintained, the parking lot is well lit and check in was a breeze. I would stay again.

Breakfast room was closed. After 17 hr drive, we checked in and my brother showered and discovered exactly one towel in bathroom, and then we discovered that the TV didn’t work. Packed up again and moved to room next door. A/C was very weak and one bed had absolutely no firmness at all.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was and very spacious. The only complaint we had was that the floor was not mopped properly, walking around the room made the bottom of our feet black. Everything else was very clean though.

This a motel not a hotel, with guest rooms opening out to the sidewalk. I avoided the mini-elevator to get to the 2nd floor. But room was clean and breakfast was better than expected (waffles, etc.) so all in all a pleasant stay.
