The pool was not working and that was the only reason we xhose the hotel as we had young children they need to have aomething in the website telling guests if the pool is not working..... One room we lifted.the toilet seat and there was urine all over the rim.. The other room when we pulled out the hideabed there was confetti all over it.. The tvs only got a couple channels

The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful, but the first room they put me in had a backed up sink with brown bits floating around it it. The second room they put me in had lights that didn’t work and a toilet that made a high pitched squeal every time it was flushed. The pool was dirty and the hot tub had obviously not worked in quite a while. The place was just run down and not well maintained. This place was without a doubt one of the worst at which I ever stayed.

Room was somewhat comfortable. But it was NOTHING like the pics the location shows. We dealt with 2 different people from the front desk. The 1st was AMAZING & thankfully he's the 1 we dealt with up to our checkout date when we met the 2nd one. The second one was nowhere near as friendly. Website says Hot Tub... That is WRONG! Also, All Vending Machines are OUT OF ORDER! Breakfast area was very limited. Juice machine was OUT OF ORDER. Juices wer supposed to be in a refrigerator. But only Fruit Punch drinks. No OJ or even Apple Juice.

It was an ok stay. The phone didn’t work right, the remote to the tv didn’t work right, and our fire alarm in the room went off in the middle of the night and the manager said it didn’t have a battery in it. The pool was way too cold to swim in so that was a huge disappointment! Breakfast options were limited, but overall it was ok.

Room was perfect! It's hard to find a decent hotel room for a family of 5. Room was clean, but not nearly enough towels and wash cloths. Pool was cold, unfortunately. Kids enjoyed it for a little while, but all i could do was hop in and get right back out! At least there was a hot tub!

We stay at this hotel every summer when we visit family. We love the pool and hot tub!! They are serving breakfast again and we were very happy to see that. Looking forward to next years stay!

There was no hot tub, the WiFi was hit and miss. The bathroom am had holes in and around the shower, there was a path on the bathroom door from a fist it looked like. The room smelt like smoke/pot. And the pillows were stained, pillow covers were clean but the pillow was stained. Water smelt like mold coming out of the shower.

Stayed in the suite for two weeks, and each week got sick. Inspected the bed one afternoon and there was black specks all over the side of my bed where the air conditioner directly blower. Went to brush it off and it smeared. BLACK MOLD it what it looked like.

The bed sheets and shower curtain where staind. There was a straw wrapper stuck to one of the pictures in the room. The blanket on our bed had a cigarette burn in it and the whole room smelt like pee. There were ants in the breakfast room. This was the first time our stay was this dirty. Hopefully next we visit it will be better, if not we will find a different hotel to stay at for our visits.

DO NOT STAY HERE, BED BUGS! i was in town for work and I got a room for one night. I woke up at 4 am with bites all over my arms, so I got up and shined my flashlight and 4 BIG BED BUGS were crawling on my pillows I took video and pictures for proof as well staff didn’t seem too worried about it though I was able to get a refund. DO NOT STAY

Unfortunately this was a very unpleasant room. The toilet was disgusting, inside and out. Dirty pillows and floor. The shower water pressure was very low, making it very hard to wash our hair. Unfortunately, pictures don’t do it justice!

Pee drops on the toilet when we got to the room. There was coffee cup lids, but no cups or coffee maker in the room. Room smelled bad like cigarettes. Shower curtain had mold on it.

Trash under the bed, cockroaches crawling on the top of the door. They did try to move me rooms, then the sink was clogged and the key card lock wasn’t secure. It would turn red with the key card, but still unlock the door. Took pictures and video.

Super 8 is very old. The beds have been the same since they opened it back in the 90's. They need new beds. And the pool can be updated too.

Room was a family room so we had more than enough room. Only wanted a king bed but got a king room and the comfort of it. Although the place could use some small updating, the price and location of the stay was worth it. Will consider staying here again

Pictures to hotel were showing nice updated rooms, which is not true. Worst breakfast selection I have ever seen before. Hard biscuits with over cooked gravy, and small donut gems. Beds are uncomfortable, and pillows were lacking all the way around(small and flat) The only positive was the showers were nice and hot.

Staff was great, very friendly and helpful. He stayed busy working constantly. Kept coffee brewing at all times. The beds were comfy. Only thing was we got a smoking room and that area needed to be aired out. Was to shut up.

I have been renting at this hotel for more than a week and I had never asked for my room to be cleaned and yesterday when I went to check in early at 8am and asked them to please clean it, the man told me that they were very busy, when I arrived at 3 in the morning afternoon they never came by my room they never cleaned it, however all the ones that are vacating could clean it but mine is not ridiculous what they did apart from at 9 in the morning we had to run because the alarm went off in the morning we were able to sleep afterwards , very disenchanted

We came to stay in Ottumwa while my grandma was in Hospice. She had passed the first night of our stay and we had gotten all of the details done early. They allowed us to leave a day early. Because of this, we are now staying again for the Visitation/Funeral. The only issue we had was our drain was slow. We told the front desk staff and they were quick to fix the issue. Once it was fixed, it worked great!

Considering the cost I wasn’t expecting anything fancy but it was at least clean and had no issues. The breakfast was nice compared to a lot of places they actually had something hot not just dry food.
