The marina adjacent to the hotel is very nice, with a small beach for swimming and boats coming in and out. There is a small snack bar at the marina. They have a Tesla 240V charger at the edge of the parking lot for guests. it's not a Supercharger but rather the home 240V unit and is free for guests. The interior is dated, and the exterior has peeling paint, so the property needs some attention. We got a room facing the river, and the balcony was not big enough for even one chair. You can stand on it - big enough for one person to stand. I don't think I'd pay extra for the river view again, since you can just walk down to the river.

Pillows were awful, needs to be cleaned, needs updating, weather stripping was falling off the door. Toilet ran 24/7. Pool was extremely dirty, hot tub doesn’t work. Used to be our favourite place to stay. Will be looking at better options next year

Great location and a nice family resort. The campus is huge and is quite a hike from one area to another. Tome of parking and very helpful friendly staff. The downside is that half the rooms look out on the parking lot and the prices are now 4 star, although the facilities are a bit shy of that.

Sitting at windows overlooking the river and marina is calming. My dog loved the huge grassy area. Pool was warm and dinner from Dam Bar was an super way to spend my last night out on a 12 day road trip. Early check- in was so appreciated

On arrival there was a large group having trouble checking in. They were asked to step aside so others could check in. Nothing like being locked out late at night. We had two key cards that were turned off at some point. The man at the desk said it happens but couldn’t make eye contact. The place could use a good scrub. The door to our room looked like it had poop smeared on it. Looked like toilet paper wads on the walls in our room. Huge bins of dirty bedding lined the entry to our building. That was probably our last stay at that hotel. We go to the area often but this was a bit much.

The outside seems clean and well-kept enough, but a huge parking lot only 1/3rd full should have been my first warning. The main lobby area does have a nice view and it's certainly inviting but after that there aren't many positives. Our room had paint peeling off the walls, bathroom fixtures had clearly fallen or been ripped off without being replaced, large bathroom tiles had fallen off the wall and were just laying on the ground. Both the entry door and bathroom door were moisture damaged and your hand would come away with material if you touched it. Right around 6pm every evening the wifi and tv would go on the fritz, making them both unusable. Lastly, for whatever reason, the toilet would have trouble flushing after 8-9pm every night we stayed. They do have an onsite restaurant we used for breakfast. The food wasn't half bad, but it was spendy for how little you got. After the first morning we just went around the corner to the Denny's since it was cheaper and far more filling.

I would normally give this property a better rating, but when we arrived around 10:00 pm there were ac filters on the floor next to unit. The unit was broken and was extremely noisy. If your room isn’t functioning you shouldn’t rent it out.

The property is in terrible shape. Room had dirty stained carpet, disconnected smoke alarm, wood doors in bathroom terribly worn, and dirty windows. Patio/deck area was being worked on, but there was no outside seating even on the lawn, which should have been a nice place to watch the marina. Bad experience, bad hotel, ridiculous price for a crappy place.

The area around the hotel is absolutely beautiful with the river right behind the hotel and a nice walk way down to the beach and boat dock. The room was pretty dated with quite a bit of wear and tear on the walls, light switches, and bathroom sink. Aside from that, it was a decent place to stay.

Nice view of the river. Property could use a refresh. Bed was comfortable and well insulated comforter. Walls are not well sound insulated. Young family next door was noisy and an adult had prolonged cough which disturbed sleep.

Overall, it is a very nice place to stay. There aren't any restaurants or convenience stores within walking distance so you need to drive to them. The biggest disappointment was the internet service, which was so bad that I was unable to use my work VPN. It is located down next to the river so the hotspot on my phone didn't work well either due to poor connectivity.

The View Room had a limited view. The deck does not accommodate two persons standing. The decking rotting. We were not informed at check in that the dining room was closed for renovations. We found out after a long day exploring the area that we needed to drive back to town to order dinner at 7pm on a Saturday night. Frustrated.

Rooms are outdated. My best guess is the last renovation the B building has seen was in the late 80’s. However, if updated rooms and amenities aren’t your jam this hotel isn’t terrible. Room was clean both in looks and smell. Beds were comfy and the check-in process was easy. I was greeted by a very kind friend desk lady who was willing to answer all the normal check-in questions. We stayed on a Saturday night and it was quiet.

Husband and I stayed for 3 nights, in town for a wedding. We loved the king bed, happy that there was 2 chairs, a side chair and desk chair for sitting to have coffee instead of having only the bed to sit on. A negative is that the AC unit blows air directly to the bed and the vents cannot be moved. The carpet had some stains and some paint in the bathroom is peeling. Some upgrades are needed but this did not detract from our comfort. The bathroom needs a fan! Huge area for pets and lots of room for the dog to run.

I waited in line to check in for 45 minutes with 4 people in front of me on a Friday night. Only one staff member was available to check people in and take care of the rooms. Restaurant was closed. Continental breakfast looked like they hijacked a gas station for snacks. Couldn’t buy any snacks unless I wanted to wait another 45 minutes. My bathroom door had a hole in it. The bath tub was nice.

The place is great BUT they need at least 2 more check-in clerks. At least in the afternoon. There was only 2. One was tied up on the phone with a couple who had double booked and was trying to get a refund (I assume from an online booking Co) the other's computer kept freezing - she had to start over several times. There are 2 buildings of rooms its a huge place and 2 clerks isn't enough. Check-in took almost an hour. Other than that the place was great.

Very nice room, clean and quiet. I was in the very back of the complex.. in the very last room. Loved that I could park right in front of door. Set back, check in was pretty slow.. only one employee at the desk and I was in line for 30-40 minutes. My stay was 3 nights and my room was not cleaned or offered fresh towels the entire stay. And lastly, the hot tub is under construction, but the pool was amazing

I was treated horribly by staff. Questioned if i was a guest everyday. Maid did a horrible job cleaning and one day didnt even stop by. I had to ask for fresh towels. I had a horrible experience will not be coming back.

felt bad for the staff at the front desk as they had hiuse keeping. there are 17 checking before us. g issues and the rooms weren’t ready . They handled it with the utmost professionalism . sometimes we all need to utilize patience!! grest job to the staff. !

The staff is wonderful. Room was clean. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but sufficed. Fridge freezer’s desperately need to be defrosted. No coffee maker in the room (suite). Having a bar and restaurant on the premises is always nice. Food was okay, drinks were great. The place needs some love. Paint is flaking and peeling on the outside and room could use some paint among other things. We love staying here because it’s peaceful, w/beautiful views and in a convenient location.

Being on the Templin River is heaven. Walking my dog around and down to the Marina was also heaven. The restaurant was easy and on property breakfast was very good. Being able to park right outside my door made my loading and unloading with my dog so much easier.

When I first arrived, they did not have my reservation, they said they did not get it from Travelocity. I was able to show them my confirmation. They were very nice and helpful and were able to get me the exact type of room I had booked and for less money. (Luckily I had not paid in advance). The place is older and it shows, but the room was clean and very nice. And the river view was awesome. The beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay.

They no longer do breakfast with your booking and it was high priced for terrible biscuits and gravy, small portion also and it was a prepaid booking yet the double charged me on top of my deposit . Still waiting on both refunds

I have been coming to this property since 2015. I will not be back. No indication that the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday. In one on property building it's still referred to as Mallards? Is that 4 or 5 years ago? Please correct me. The food and atmosphere in my opinion has gone a different direction than what it was. I understand change happens, but not putting actual bacon on a BLT!!! I know, petty, but it is little things like that are noticed. You used to serve BNSF, not sure if you still do? Talk to your customers and guests to get a feel for what they want. The price we pay to stay there we deserve that much.

I've seen better continental breakfasts that offered more and were better, and they were free.. just disappointing.. the room my sister was in felt like part of the floor was bout to fall in..

The staff was so friendly! From the minute we walked in- the front desk, lounge and restaurant! Food and drink prices were very reasonable! They made excellent craft cocktails as well!

The property was much older than anticipated, but in decent shape. The $13 breakfast was severely overpriced for what limited amount of food that was provided. Front desk/check in lady was quite grumpy, obviously she has worked in the industry or at that hotel for too long.
