This is my hometown, i have been staying here for 20 plus years when i visit my family still in the area.Hotel needs TLC,water didn't drain in tubs or sink.outside needs cleaning up and freshen up.pool was filled in several years ago but they could definitely put tables, chairs and firepit out there and make a really cool sitting/smoking area.i will go back because there aren't many options but PLEASE clean it up!!

The overnight truck parking outside our window was a little noisy, but I always bring a sound machine to mask hotel noises anyway. There is no elevator, which was not a problem for us, but if you need one, book on the first floor.

Ice machine out of order, washer/dryer broken, toilet in room barely flushed- got a plunger and tried to plunge- very slow to empty/fill. Shower - water ran all over floor, hair dryer did t work. Towels were threadbare and felt like sandpaper. It was just a very tired, run down hotel.

Room was clean, very basic (no coffee maker, no phone to call desk), did have microwave and mini fridge. Bed was comfortable but sheet had holes in it, towels were very soft though. Outdoor pool advertised but it was filled in with grass. No tables or chairs to just enjoy the nice outdoor patio by grass pool! Big area could have used patio furniture. We wanted a place to sit at night instead of our room but nothing available to do that. Breakfast basic, eggs were not good but waffles and danish were ok. We got coffee there instead of in our room. If you're looking for a basic reasonably priced place to sleep, I'd recommend. If you want a pool or an area to enjoy a coffee outside, I don't recommend.

Three things are important for me in a hotel 1st Cleanliness, 2nd Smell, and 3rd bed comfort. This hotel met all three categories with excellent conditions. Although a little old and worn in places, the room was immaculately clean, there was no bad odors and the bed was extremely clean and comfortable. I am told a new owner is working diligently to restore this facility. I will be inclined to choose this hotel every time. The staff was courteous.

Clean room, immaculate lobby, the staff was simply amazing and the location was great! We were running at NXR in Terra Haute and although this was a bit of a drive it was so worth it! The town is quaint and gives the nostalgic hometown feel! We will be back next year!

Very clean hotel simple breakfast cereal,muffins,waffles,bagels,plain oatmeal,and apples. Bed was comfy. Room was clean and had a fridge and microwave but no in room coffee pot. Channel selections are slim but all in all if you need a clean safe place to lay your head this hotel works

We just needed a place to crash on a road trip. Just went to bed, got up and left. The place was great for that. Not luxurious at all but it was clean and seemed safe. There was a faint smell of smoke in the hall/room but it wasn't overpowering. I think maybe like in the past they allowed smoking in the rooms here. I'm pretty sensitive to smoke so I guess take that for what it's worth. If you are SUPER sensitive then maybe it might bother you but we were fine. Didn't even notice it except right when we walked in. Overall it was a decent place and for the price I'd say a very good value.

Mid hotel to stay and see the big things in Casey, IL. Nothing fancy, just a place to stay for the night. Very accessible, right off the highway. Staff was pleasant. Room was damp feeling, bed on thin metal frame made noises with every little move. So it was just ok. Semi-inexpensive.

It was okay. Staff was friendly. The chair in our room was filthy. I put a towel over it to sit on it. The lighting was poor...the floor lamp didn't work. BUT the beds were clean and comfy, and the bathroom was clean. The hotel was quiet through the night, so we slept well. The location to the things we wanted to do was convenient.

I stay at alot of hotels and yes this isn’t perfect but it’s quaint. Of course some would say it needs an update the decor is outdated, but the important things were great. The bed is comfortable, the temperature was perfect. It was clean and the front desk employees were very friendly. I would recommend it to stay.

Air conditioner in the room didn’t work. It was pretty apparent that they knew it didn’t work because it was on high when we came in the room. So, we slept in an 80 degree room all night :( Told the attendant at the desk and she just replied I’m sorry. No offer to compensate us in any way. Disappointed

Customer service was unparalleled! They went above and beyond to fix a reservation that was booked for incorrect dates. They provided some toiletries complimentary. In this heat wave, the AC worked and was almost too cold! The facilities are older. The customer service was top notch!

The check-in was fast. The bed was comfortable. The drapery allowed too much light into the room from the outside lights which did bother my sleep. The room showed signs of wear on the desktop and one wall was damaged. The breakfast was adequate. We arrived after dark in a rain storm and had difficulty finding the hotel back behind a gas station. The sign may not have been lit up and my gps took me right past it the first time.

A dirty parking lot with haphazardly parked vehicles and trailers. Poor lighting in the lot. Long way to walk in and out of the property. Carpeting in the hallways needed replacement. Doors stuck opening and closing, the safety latch on the door didn't work. Advertised breakfast, no hot food available, very poor selection.

Overall my stay was very pleasant and the staff were friendly & professional. The only complaint I have is the breakfast is very limited. Places I have stayed before have scrambled eggs, waffles, sausages, toast & a variety of fruit & cereal.This had a waffle maker, 2 kinds of cereal, toast, & apples. Also, I dont drink coffee, but this didnt offer hot chocolate as other places usually do. But, I could overlook the breakfast as my room was very nice & clean. I would stay here again.
