The room was clean and orderly. Parking was ample and not a problem. The free breakfast was more than acceptable. The only consideration that I had a problem with was the security doors. Of the two exterior doors equipped with security locks, the door to the parking lot would not open with my room key and the door that faces the main street would not lock. I mentioned this problem when I first checked in and again when I left in the morning. I doubt that the situation was ever corrected. With the exception of that item, my stay at the Best Western in Chillicothe, OH was very pleasant and I would not hesitate to stay with Best Western again.

Dated property could use some maintenance & care. They had artificial shrubs in outside beds (Why?) Elevator out of order. Room was dirty in bathroom corners so we wiped it Dias best we could (They probably don’t have enough help). Friendly staff & safe area located off business route 23. If you just need a place for the night this is fine but fair warning the beds are very firm.

Some problems with TV remote (solved after call to front desk to configure a sensor..strange…), 2nd card room key never worked so had to get a new one..neither card would work on 2nd building entrance where our room was located (staff said that was pretty common), elevator was not operational

While to get our key card reprogrammed the person was not at the desk . It took a while for someone to come and then I had to wait for at least a half hour for someone that was allowed to do the reprogram the card. My friends were bitten the first night and they thought it was a misquote. The second night we were awoken my friend hollers she had been bitten several times and she had found the bug and killed it. It was a Bedbug!!! The person at the desk wasn’t there and when she hollered for some one a lady appeared. She insulted my friend by saying she could only see her vaccination scare. When she clearly had bite bumps on her in several places. She then tried to keep the bug.

I checked in very late, headed from the front desk to the stairs. While headed up the stairs I noticed that the property was dated but appears clean. There is a very distinct mildew smell in the hallways and elevator though. Once I got to my room, it also appeared clean. I was wrong. I pulled back the covers to find blood and what appeared to be dried mucous on the edge of the duvet. I also found blood on the toilet seat. I inquired as to whether I could switch rooms and was told that there were none available. It was also late and there was not staff on hand to clean. I was not willing to clean someone else’s bodily fluids/blood so I ended up leaving within the same hour that I checked in. I’ll be attempting a refund.

Nice breakfast. They are renovating rooms so our room being new still smelled like chemicals. The room was very hot at first because they didn’t have the air in at all. We turned the air on and it cooled down within the half hour. Over all it was very nice room.

Room was recently updated. It was clean. Mattress was firm but not too firm. One negative is that the refrigerator never really got cold even on the coldest setting. Checking in, our gal was wonderful! Breakfast was ok. Coffee was better than most hotels!

The only thing I didn't care for was there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom,so it gets really foggy after a shower. The air conditioning was really hard to keep at a good temperature. It was either to cold or to hot in the room. The staff was super friendly and I had no other problems with my stay.

This was an older budget hotel. But it was very clean and the bathrooms had recently been remodeled to contain a large stand-up shower. I was impressed with that. Beyond that the hallways are nice but the rooms are showing their age. But it was clean and I would gladly stay here again.

The associate at check-in was both friendly and patient. I had reserved 2 rooms - under different names - and I had forgotten that. It took a few minutes to resolve the issue, but the associate couldn't have been more patient or sincerely helpful.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We missed breakfast by 5 mins and they accomodated us with everything they had just cleaned and were so friendly about it. It was secluded behind another building so that was just a little uneasy but other than that, we would stay again. Room was clean.

The front desk lady, Tiffany, when we checked was nice. She explained how my door handle operates on our room. It was a little different operation compared to a normal door knob. She also gave us good advice of moving around city. A delightful interaction with her.

Musty, moldy smell...hard to breath. Manager threatened to cancel reservation because I said smelled...was very rude. Bad area too!! Cost less, but you get what you pay for.....not going back!!

Entrance to get to hotel was confusing and difficult to get too. Outside appearance was plain and rough looking. The inside hallway and rooms were remodeled and nice! Breakfast and breakfast area was very good, and staff was friendly.

Wish the sigh by the road was larger so you could see it better. We passed it up went down the road a ways didn't see it so we turned around and it was on the way back we saw the sign. It sits back behind a bank. The property was very nice and the staff was nice and helpful

The room was neat and clean, and free of objectionable odors. The beds were not marshmallow soft like many other places we've stayed, and made for comfortable sleep. The linens and towels were crisp and odor free. AC and mini fridge worked well. Plenty of channels on the TV to choose from. Room was very quiet despite location near busy street. A little tricky to find, 'cause it does not front on the main drag, but GPS got us there eventually. Breakfasts were entirely adequate with oatmeal, bacon or sausage plus various kinds of eggs on alternating days. Assorted juices and coffees, Yogurt, bagels, biscuits, and bread to toast. Assorted dry cereals milk, and fruit available. Automatic pancake maker produced amazing good product. Note that breakfast closes at 9:00 sharp. Staff were all friendly and helpful and close-in parking was easy. I just wish there were grab bars in the shower/tub combo for us older, non-athletic folks. Hot water was plentiful. We'll stay there again next time we pass through.

We stayed in handicap accessible room #221. Door deadbolt was hard to get locked and looked like it was about to pull off the door, but it did finally lock. Juice machine was out of order, with exception of grape juice. My husband doesn't drink coffee or grape juice, and water wasn't available, so he did without.

The staff was efficient and friendly. The place is tucked behind businesses with no clear driveway to get in the parking lot and driveway is rough . There is a pool but we did not visit. The place is very clean but very dated. The free breakfast poor with the coffee tasting like the area water and the eggs not tasting real. Lots of bread items to choose from.

Building could use some sprucing up. Our king room was smaller than most other king rooms we’ve been in, but it was very nice. Breakfast was outstanding. Sausage gravy and biscuits, pancakes, cheese omlettes, toast and the usual bread items. Many restaurants in walking distance. All staff we encountered were very friendly! Will definitely stay here again.
