Best Western Flora Inn

Everything was good , we were told they are in the middle of remodeling so small things but understand if remodeling. Breakfast was good, however need to keep up better when things run low regardless of the time. Arrived at 9:30 (open till 10) but one biscuit 4 slices of bacon a few eggs, not replenished. Day two one biscuit 4 eggs and 5 sausage ( there are 2 of us) Day 3 we just went to Mc Donald's. I guess timing is everything. Clean up is promptly at 10, they won't chase you out, but packing up everything.

The front desk associate was excellent when I checked in. I change my stay date to a day later and it had passed my cancellation/change agreement. The front desk was super friendly and obliging when I called and explained my situation. I was not charge an extra fee.

The staff and room were both great!

The room itself was good and evidence of upgrades in progress were apparent. However, in all the years we have been staying at this particular site, the breakfast offerings were the worst they have ever been. I do not expect the offerings to be gourmet food, however the scrambled eggs were stone cold with some kind of seasoning that was gross, the sausage links appeared to have been warmed over several times, the biscuits were dry and hard. We have always been satisfied with our visits in the past and will continue to book here as there are very fee options to choose from, but this time it was a disappointing stay.

I loved the new carpets, and look forward to the continued renovation of this hotel. The water pressure in the bathroom was wonderful. And although I could see daylight from the left upper corner of the air conditioner unit, it did keep the room nice and cool. I appreciated the provided microwave and refrigerator. I was a little confused as to why there was a refrigerator, sink, cooler from the breakfast area, and a few other things blocking the covered area where guests usually pull in to check in and unload. Our room had coffee packets, but no coffee maker. I could not get the downstairs ice maker to work this time; it just shook, made a loud sound, and let out a few drops of water. When we went down to breakfast, there were no forks out, but I found some in the cabinet below the serving area and put a handful in the dispenser for myself and the next guests. My husband tried several times, but he was not able to get any yogurt from the yogurt dispenser. I wish you the best of luck as you continue to make improvements on this hotel.
