Everything was great, except for the swimming pool. It would be nice if the swimming pool would be in good maintenance. The area was dirty, no lights working, that's all. Other than this our stay was great. The employees have excellent customer service towards everyone.

Hot tub cold, meat in breakfast only occasionally. Asked at 10:10 can the room get service no you must do so by 10. Kiddo pool said had an accident in it and would be drained but wasn’t for over 5 days.

Parking lot was dirty, asked for towels, never got, room never cleaned or refreshed. Stayed 2 nights, had to finally take our towels to front desk and exchange, still didn’t get any wash cloths. Pool had too many chemicals, made our skin burn and other guest.

Staff were amazing. Super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was mediocre with not a lot of options. Room was clean and comfy. Pool was absolutely disgusting and water had a weird smell (almost like it was urine and chlorine which it probably was).

Discovered mold ALL over the ceiling of our bathroom. Was so bad that we took a video & pictures of it and reached out to management regarding the issue. Also snot/buggers discovered on walls and cabinets. Overall just felt really dirty.

Do not stay here ! Me and my boyfriend got a room here and we noticed the room was filthy , dirty underneath bed like it wasn’t cleaned in months , and cockroach’s ! I asked to moved rooms as soon as I noticed , they moved me to another room and that room was infested , they were crawling on the bathroom towels , walls and floor ! Hope this saves someone else from making my mistake ! Disgusting !

Front desk staff was amazing, but many kids running through the halls in inundating the pool. The entire ground floor was wet from all the kids running to and from the pool. Kids running through the hallways made it very noisy as well.

Pool was great, hot tub was great, pool room was a little on the warm side if you weren't in the pool itself, rooms were good and clean only issue i had was the clock in my room didn't work at all and the window was cracked with like scotch box tape over it

This was by far the nicest La Quinta I have ever stayed at. I was impressed. Our room was remodeled very tastefully. The bed was extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. The staff was very nice and the property was conveniently located near Six Flags and many different restaurant choices. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a pleasant stay at La Quinta Inn. The staff were very friendly. I did the online check-in which did save time and all I did at the desk was show my ID and receive my key. The hotel was quiet and clean. Pillows were comfy and so was the bed. We arrived in a snow storm and the front desk had a shovel that they loaned out as individuals needed a hand to unearth their vehicles.

They staff was super friendly. We had a couple of issues but staff took care of it quickly and got us moved rooms and I was offered a refund for a portion of the stay. The breakfast was delicious. And the location worked perfect for what we needed. Would definitely stay again.

The receptionist was EXTREMELY rude! She wasnt at the desk when we arrived so ai waited a bit before using the phone as directed. The receptionist Channing cane around the corner eventually and was upset I was there obviously. I told her I was there to check in and she replied with "are you sure". I said yes and she proceeded to tell me check in was before nidnight which i knew. It was 1120pm. I said I knew and it was before midnight. She then told me they had been canceling a lot of reservations because they were over booked. So i did say I would need a full refund then and thats when she got on the computer and found our room and reservation. I gave her my card and she said it was declined but I have over $3,000 on that card and even checked while I was there and she never ran it. I gave her another card to use and said i can tell if she runs it or not and it went through. She didnt want to be there she didnt want to do her job and we will NOT go back. Its a low rate place anyways you get what ya get. No where near eeven a 3 star but if ya have to stay one night you might live.

The staff was amazing. The entire hotel was clean and housekeeping staff were very busy and friendly. The morning buffet was loaded with choices and was kept clean throughout the breakfast hours. The pool was very inviting. I definitely will plan to stay there again.

The front desk team was fantastic, enthusiastic, helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the pool thoroughly. Only suggestion is to add variety to the breakfast selection. Other than that, wonderful, clean property.

We booked this room 2 months in advance, booked it for an extra night before we arrived due to the fact that we were flying redeye from Portland Oregon. When we got there, the person working at the front desk was EXTREMELY rude to us amd told us that our room had been given away. We then had to pay twice as much for a room at a different hotel that night because we still needed a place to sleep. I was charged for my entire stay and never even seen the inside of a room there. Also have not received my money back for this either.

Parking and convenient. The check in clerk rude and she acted like l was an inconvenience to her. The AC did not work. The house phone didn't work. We particially had to beg for clean sheets and towels because you have to request that your room to be cleaned.

I thought the room was pretty nice. The beds are small- definitely not a queen. The room was warm even with the air on. The breakfast was ok- there were no scrambled eggs. Just sausage, biscuits and gravy and waffle/pancakes. I would have liked more protein. It was really close to Great America. The room was quiet.

We chose this hotel for proximity to Six Flags. And also because they had a pool and breakfast included. Premises were very clean. Indoor pool was great. Comfy beds, and breakfast was decent. 2 minute drive to Great America was fantastic. Plus it’s next door to Olive Garden and Cracker Barrel, so plenty of food options. We will be back!

You have to request room service. They count towels and charge $10 per missing towel. Breakfast is a slim continental breakfast. The pictures look much better than the actual place. The employees were really nice though.

Glenndy and Evelyn(?) From Mississippi, are the sweetest! very friendly each time we walked in. loved the indoor pool and hot tub. breakfast was great, cheese omelettes, sausage, waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels, bread, muffins. cracker barrel is right next door.

My room was quiet and clean. The service I received was lacking. You ran out of coffee and/or creamer 3 days in a row out of 4 of my days. You ran out of pancake batter at 850 and refused to get us more when asked. My kids were still hungry. I was looking for a luggage cart while checking out in lobby. Was told to ‘go find one’ by the front desk attendant.

The bathroom fan from the room below was very loud in our room which seemed to be going throughout the night on Saturday. The shower leaked water onto the floor. The breakfast was OK on the weekends, but rather sparce on weekdays. My biggest complaint is that I was quoted an estimated charge of $485.35, but I was charged $585.35. I would have disputed this at checkout, but the staff said the printer was out so they couldn't print me a receipt. So, I received and email receipt when I was on my way back to Texas. In hindsight, this seems to be rather fishy. We go to Gurnee on a regular basis, but I don't know if I want to stay at the La Quinta again if this is how the establishment operates.

My family and I stayed for the 4th of July and went to Six Flags, the rooms were nice, quiet, beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious especially the pancakes and coffee, we will definitely be back in the future for another stay.
