It was nice, but a bit dated. There were no USB ports for charging devices in the room. The WIFI was terrible 2 bars at best and often no internet. The breakfast was basic. The pool was nice, but the jacuzzi was permenantly closed.

We got stuck in the elevator, was told 3 kids and 2 adults were too many people. There’s no signs indicating this, my granddaughter and step daughter are now scared to ride any elevator. Eating area was too small and we were not allowed to take food from there to our rooms. To get clean towels we had to take the dirty ones to the desk. We went there to have a family getaway and it was traumatizing to the girls. Pool smelled like a dirty fish bowl, hot tub was covered up unable to use. Overall was a bad experience. Staff wasn’t concerned about our complaints. Staff said the capacity of the elevator was from when it was new, since it was old it was now 4 people. Staff told me this as we were stuck in the elevator. With excess heat for over 10 minutes.

Likes-My room was clean and a clean bed to sleep in. Dislikes- fire detecer was hanging from wall, nats were in the bathroom and shower was dirty. Gym equipment did not work (treadmill was plugged in but did not work), elliptical kept getting stuck when trying to pedal. Weight machine was old and rusted and it smelt like mold in room, a/c did not work properly. Pool light was hanging in water, wires exposed and light was rusted, left pool fearing I would be shocked. Elevator buttons needed to be repaired loose. Overall the hotel needs some work and staff were not friendly except the over night gentleman.

My remote for my tv was under the bed and I couldn’t find it. When I did it didn’t work. Called the front desk said they would be up in 5 minutes … 1/2 hr later when nobody showed up I went to get a different one. Remote still didn’t work… went to get a different one front desk guy came with me and had to flip a couple switches. He left and the tv was now on but the power and volume had to be done manually on thr tv. Hot tub is closed and has been for 10 yrs. Pool looks pretty dingy. High chlorine smell. Tons of kids running the halls and screaming at 10:30pm. Room was clean but hotel seems old and needs to be updated.

We booked two rooms for our family and had cleanliness issues with both. Upon arrival, noticed the floor had not been swept, there was a puddle of water at the base of the bed, and the coffee table was also unwiped with crumbs all over it. As three of my children have celiac disease, this was a concern due to cross-contamination. Front desk agent provided us with Clorox wipes so we could clean it up ahead of ordering supper to the room. Later that evening, we found that the microwave in our second room hadn’t been cleaned as there was a large container of old pasta with a metal fork sitting in the microwave from a previous guest. Front desk said they would pass on my info to hotel manager, hotel manager has not yet contacted me

Smelt like cigarette smoke the second I walked in my room. Stains on both bed sheets. Pull out sofa had crumbs in it when I pulled it out. Black mold looking stuff in our ac unit. The luggage cart poles were duct taped together and when I brought it to my vehicle with my luggage it broke apart in different spots.

The sheets were dirty & dingy looking. The rule of no breakfast food in the rooms is crazy also, some ppl don't like to be around ppl like that, nor sit with alot of ppl to eat, I know i don't want to sit around ppl that eat with their mouth wide open chewing their food, smacking their lips, & or ppl that don't have table manners. I will not be returning to your hotel, first time & last time. We actually checked out last night & would have checked out yesterday morning after being woke up @ 7 am after the fire alarm but was @ the hospital all day because of the anxiety attack I had being woke up from the alarm.

Room #1, second floor. The Television wouldn't work, called front desk, they came in and fixed it.Then the remote didn't work. Front desk then moved us to the 1st floor to a new room. Once the lights went out and the heat on. THE BED BUGS/ MITES came out. I woke up at 4am scratching and watching welps form on my legs. We immediately packed all our belongings & left at 4am. They did refund my money. HORRIBLE HOTEL AND OUTDATED!! DO NOT SLEEP HERE.

One night stay. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Odd setup with the bath sink/counter right where you walk in the room. Suspected the shower/toilet are not all that clean due to a fruit fly spotted in there. Rooms are outdated. Noisy air conditioning. Pillows on bed super tiny. Good enough for one night. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Rather they take that out of the price than offer sub par food.

Walls were a little thin. Could hear the people next door and turning on Netflix . The room overall was nice and comfortable and clean. So close to great America. It was kind of tucked behind a strip mall which made it a nice quiet area. I would stay here again.

I wanted a quiet staycation alone to reflect. All hours of the night, kids were running back n forth across the room above on the 3rd floor. Sounded like people were moving furniture across the floor and slamming doors. The bed was not comfortable and needless to say, I did not get a good nights sleep. I could've saved the money and stayed home.

i visited chicago for my son navy graduation and had the time of my life me and my family stay here and the young man at the front desk his name is nathan...he made me and my family feel welcomed he was very sweet gave helpful information if i asked him about anything in the area ,checked me in with no problem just all around a gentleman the room was clean the bed and bathroom was clean the morning breakfast was amazing and it seems like everyone was friendly i will definitely be returning

For starters wasn’t made aware of the $100 hold at checkin. Now it’s been 7 days since check out and this stupid hold is still there. Second, the guy at checkin failed to give me my drivers license back. Found it slid under my door the next morning. Third it was very noisy in the hallways at all hours of the night.

NEGATIVE: Their ATM wasn't working so, I wasn't able to pull any money out to exchange for quarters and do laundry so, I was pretty bummed about that POSITIVE: I'm not sure if he was the owner but, when I checked in after midnight on Sept 12th, I was asked for a $100 deposit until check-out on 9/13. I told him I was leaving same day (on 9/12) and he was kind enough, as a courtesy, to not let me pay the deposit.

Did not get housekeeping ONCE in the 4 nights my partner and I stayed there. I called down to ask if on our 3rd night, we could get new sheets and towels. Was told to strip the bed ourselves and CARRY our sheets and towels down to the front desk. Then, we had to make our own bed. I make my bed at my home. The point of going to a hotel is you have a place to stay without having to change your own sheets. It was unprofessional in my opinion. Also, the walls were so thin, I could a conversation between 2 people in the room next to us. The room above us was stomping all day and night. Sounded like horses were stomping above us. Was very hard to sleep with that constant noise.

Horrible customer service. Lady at the front desk was extremely unhelpful. Lost my $100 deposit because of the window being open and accused of cigarette smoking in the room (I don’t smoke cigarettes). She just seemed displeased in general that it was made through a 3rd party. Well. Tell your manager to take your damn hotel off this site if you plan to be rude about the reservation being made through here.

I would avoid this place, if at all possible. The room was filthy: pizza droppings, candy, dust. We were given directions at the desk like we were 16-year-olds about to trash the place. I understand the staff is only following directions and they were pleasant. No complaints with staff. I also understand they are directly across from Great America and also direct access to the highway, but given the area they are located in, the property is in disrepair. The price does not reflect the low quality of the property either - very high priced.

This was the perfect hotel for visiting Six Flags Great America. It was quiet and comfortable the breakfast was delicious the staff was courteous and friendly. I loved the fact that the room did not have carpet. The only problem with the hotel was the elevator is waiting for a part. You could still use the elevator but it moved very slow and there was a limit to how many people could be in at a time. There was an indoor pool but we were unable to use it because we were coming back too late from the park which was no big deal but it looked very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Lots of dinner options in walking distance of the hotel. Thai, Caribbean, and Indian/Pakistani for adventurous eaters like me. Love the location. Vey close to the Bristol Renaissance Fair and Six Flags. Rooms were clean. Furniture has seen some better days though. I called a few says ahead of time and they were able to get me connecting rooms and that was great with a big group. Nice front desk.

The bed was comfy and the hotel was clean, that’s where the good things end. The room looked like it was hit by several things and the soaps are not even enough to clean you. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Only two “gross” hot options. Overall a comfy sleep but the hotel leaves a lot to be desired.

Overall stay was good. Breakfast was terrible. I don’t eat meat or eggs and never was any type of potatoes an option. Breakfast with no potatoes? It’s giving CHEAP!! I ate a pice of bread and an apple. The other people in my party said the sausage and eggs were disgusting.

I have stayed at this location several years now for a girls weekend . The staff is friendly. The breakfast is hot with several choices. This past weekend there ware belgian waffles, mini cheese omlets, sausage, biscuits and gravy , fruit , cereals, yogurts, and much more. The prices are fair.

The hotel itself was fine, the staff was good and welcoming and it was really just a quick trip and needed a place to lay our head. But the breakfast while a decent portion many items tasted expired and/or spoiled. After nearly breaking a tooth on the raisin bran that tasted like it was 2+ years old we tried to spice up the eggs a bit with the packaged hot sauce but it was separated and rancid. The freshly cooked stuff was fine but the stuff that had a chance to sit there a while had, and it had gone bad.
