Hottub in the room the water came out urine colored and bugs came out of the drain. the room was in rough shape overall. No towels in the pool area and the guest laundry had a drier that did not work but there was no sign posted stating that so you did not find out until after you washed your laundry and then had no way to dry it. Went to the front desk to let them know and they informed us it had not worked for 2 weeks and then just stared at us when we asked if they had an inhouse drier or something they could offer or a refund for the money we put into it.

One of the rooms we stayed in had ants all over and the water for the shower would not get hot. The TV remote was not for the TV. The other room heating source was loud the entire stay and the shower water barely was warm. The hot tub was not functioning and on the full day of our stay the pool was closed to guests for a pool party. When staff was informed about the ants and other issues they did nothing. We booked online site unseen. We were very impressed. It was clean. Beds were comfortable and most important to my husband a free breakfast with biscuits and gravy(his favorite breakfast). Had nice pool ( but we didn’t use it) we had a suite basically a bedroom and a sitting room with doors separating the two. It was nice when one of us woke up before the other. Had a refrigerator with freezer, microwave and small coffee pot. Did have an elevator and stairs for second floor.

There was stung broken glass in the parking lot when I arrived - just enough to impact one parking space. It was cleaned up the next day. Nice room, very good bed and pillows, nice bathroom. Very quiet. Very safe feeling. Very well lit parking lot. Good breakfast included very good pancakes. No bacon nor no peanut butter. Staff was very pleasant and attentive. Overpriced but nice.

Because of family issues, I ended up checking into this motel 2x with a 3 day break in between. The location was very convenient as close to my family.. This place was very clean and everyone (staff)was very nice. I selected this motel because it said on the website it had a hot tub, which I was needing for an injured shoulder, and a workout room, which I needed because of bad weather. Well, neither were available, and there was no explanation or apologies offered. When I checked out there was no "Thanks so much for staying with us." Breakfast was included and OK . I appreciate how hard it is to maintain fresh food with reservations fluctuating wildly, but if you are wanting a good hot breakfast suggest going to a restaurant.

Everything while we’re here is ok except the pool is closed. We were not informed when we made the reservation that was the case. That was a big part of our stay and feel $154 is a lot to spend with no pool.

Breakfast was very nice and the lady that’s job was to keep everything full was very nice.. room smelled musty with the carpet. Change the floor to 100% vinyl would be a nice improvement for the smell and cleanliness.

Kewanee is an old and tired town. This hotel reflects it. The wash and sink area is very small which makes getting ready for the day difficult with two people in the room. The hvac unit was odorous when trying to use the heating component. But, these things are doable when the staff is as courteous and efficient as the staff we encountered during our stay. An updated remodel would be nice though.

Good value for the price. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel and neighborhood were quiet. The breakfast buffet had hot and cold options. Rooms and common areas were clean. The rooms are definitely dated and the furniture in the suites are showing age. The TV’s provided had very small screens, which made watching from the couch or bed a challenge.

The staff was kind and the breakfast was enjoyable. The room first provided smelled like a smoking room (I asked non smoking) and talked to the lady at the counter but she didn't even check the room saying all rooms are non smoking. Next day I asked another lady on duty and we could move to a different but same size room. I was charged $20.00 extra per night for a new room that was not informed beforehand. This was the only thing I didn't feel being treated nicely.

We stay here when we come into town. We are very pleased with the amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great location. The only suggestion I have would be to place a park bench outside the front entrance and install an automatic door at the entrance to the lobby.

Our 1st rooms had a strong smoke smell, but front desk was very helpful and able to get us rooms without the smoke smell. Had a tornado warning while we where there and we had to shelter in downstairs hall. Lost electric to our room, and hotel had no backup generator. Breakfast was subpar.
