Only thing disappointing was the hot tub was out of order which really was inconvenient!!!! Other then that it was good- front desk girls were very nice the woman who monitored breakfast was delightful!!

The hotel was fine. I was thankful to find a good hotel in that area. Affordable, centralized & easy to find pool, exercise room & breakfast. I loved the hours of breakfast and the pool. (later/earlier than other hotels.) Very accessible. The room was nice and clean. The indoor pool was not very clean when we were there (needed skimming), jaccuzi wasn't working & exercise room was not open. The entrance from the street was odd - I wove through a shady parking lot, like a back alley when I arrived. Still, I would stay there again.

The roof leaked in our room (#303) and there was no hot water in the morning for showers. The overall condition is poor with frayed carpets and no charging stations in the rooms. The spa was closed indefinitely and the pool water was cold. I recommend looking at alternative properties.

I had to circle the area looking for the right place because all the exterior lights were off. It looked like an abandoned building. Then I waited 10-15 minutes for the girl to show up at the front desk. I rang the bell for assistance approximately 25 times and even called the front desk. Upon check in, it was revealed that there was no breakfast in the morning, and the pool and hot tub are closed (no reason provided) I inquired if there were snacks or drinks available for purchase, and was told that there are vending machines on Floors 1 and 3. Also, there’s free juice in the now-vacant dining area (not really, the juice machine is empty) carpet has holes due to age and wear, decor is 1970s, and the TV is smaller than my computer monitor. I haven’t even tried the mattress yet…

This hotel recently reopened under new owner. Pool & hot tub were closed for remodeling. Free breakfast wasn't available. Ice machine was broke on our floor. Sheer curtains in our room were torn in half. Bed was comfortable. Hotel needs remodeling. Carpet in halls was dirty.

Fitness center out of operation due to water leak, all equipment had been removed - front desk said for 2 months! Why so long? Bathroom sink drips, lightbulb out on vanity, tub did not drain so 3" of standing water when shower was done, shower curtain rod falling down. Ice machine 3rd floor out of service, 1st floor machine out of ice. General repairs not being made. On the plus, linens were clean, breakfast was good. Overall would look for another place because of fitness center. Disappointed

I am not typically one to complain about many service things, as I have worked many service based jobs over the years. The lady at the front desk was kind when we asked to move rooms the first time and checked this room for cleanliness before moving us to this room, and as you can see it’s still very dirty. The first room we were in was much worse, but I didn’t think I’d need to take photos since she was moving us anyway. As someone who has worked similar jobs, I don’t understand how this room passed any kind of inspection. The lights in the room barely worked, and everything was questionably clean at best. There were dirty toilets with pee on them, alive spiders with webs everywhere, I found a wolf spider on my pillow in the second room and the web in the window is also from the second room she had inspected. It’s unacceptable to inspect this room and say it’s clean. It was very late at night and we were both very tired, and decided to just stay in the room as we had a wedding the next day and didn’t want to keep moving rooms. I’ve booked many hotels over the years, and I’ve never been so disappointed in a room.

Shampoo and conditioner were completely out. Mold on the pool, a/c was sooo loud, key didn’t work twice, huge stain on one of the beds comforter, carpet had holes in it, toilet was dirty, and phone in the room didn’t work. Spider webs and weeds all over on outside. Would never stay here again.

Wifi was out for 2 weeks and pool area was closed beinging used for storage. Worst was staff could not have cared less about those issues and acted like we shouldn't either. And we still were charged full price for the entire stay.

This used to be a very nice place to stay but it has really gone downhill. I tried for 2 days to get someone to fix a faucet that would not stop running. Front desk staff just sit there on their phones. There was mold on the ceiling and hair in the shower. Tattered towels. Do not recommend.

From the moment we checked in the staff was rude and in accommodating. First we were a few minutes early and had to get special permission to check in after driving in from 5 hours away. Second the coffee machine in the lobby was out of order. Third when we noticed there was no hair dryer we went to the front desk and asked if they had one we could use. They said they are all booked up and don’t have an extra one so we had to go buy one at Walgreens. Fourth the hot tub was out of order. My brother also stayed there and had a bad experience as well. The only reason we booked a room there was because the other hotel in town was full.

The staff was friendly and service was perfect. Thankfully my hotel room neighbors were quiet and I slept well. The bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get out of bed. I would definitely stay again. As of now they have a restaurant next door that looked inviting but already had booked plans on this trip to try it.

Location was good and the area was safe. There was a Walmart within walking distance. The hot tub in the pool area looked like it had been out of service for some time. Our room was poorly cleaned. The water barely trickled from the facet, dirty tub, and floor grout. The valve used to make the shower function took a lot of effort to operate.Ice maker was out of order. Breakfast area was the shining star of this visit. That area was clean and the food was good!

Property was very clean and the staff was excellent. There was a wedding party staying there that got quite load in the parking lot outside our window that made it difficult to sleep. Also the hot tub was closed. One item that I would like to ask about is the height of the facilities in the lavatory. I’m 6’3” so I’m not a basketball player, but the sink and toilet were extremely low.

Overall I had a good stay at this hotel. The room was fairly clean and in good condition. The bed was very comfortable, and temperature control was good. There were a few things that can be improved for this location. The common areas are quite dated, and in need of refurbishing. The hallway carpets are covered in stains, and should be cleaned or replaced. My biggest disappointment was the breakfast, or lack thereof. The location website states, hot breakfast and signature waffles. There was nothing hot for breakfast, only bagels and yogurt available, and of course no waffles. I wound up going out for breakfast some of the days as I needed something more substantial to start my day. If traveling to Rock Falls again, I would probably try a different hotel.

We book this room for breakfast we had 10 people they did not have breakfast ask them about it he said I would receive a 10% discount already booked online. They didn’t know how they could refund it not happy. The ice machine was broke. The lights in the parking lot did not work. I won’t book this room next year for the same event.
