Lisa, front desk manager needs a special mention for keeping us informed and taking good care of us. Hotel was oversold on the rooms we booked 4 months ago. Either it was Expedia's fault or a poor management on the hotel, the first night we did not get the room we originally booked. We were given it the 2nd day. Biggest disappointment is the shuttle service for which we choose this hotel. They don't run after 6PM on Friday thru the weekend and this was not mentioned anywhere at the time of booking. Had we known it at the time of booking would have booked elsewhere and avoided this hotel.

The service of the front desk was excellent. Very courteous and friendly. However the room service was not done for the 4 nights we stayed. The shuttle service was not available. We took the hotel because of the shuttle service available, however we were told the service is not available over the weekend as well as when we needed. This caused some inconvenience and had to keep on paying for Uber which was not fair for us.

It is a nice hotel, smaller than i thought. My kids loved the pool , the water was a perfect temp , went to the hot tub 1 time it was good, except there's always kids in it. Breakfast was good and standard. Eggs, sausage , waffle station,cereal etc. Would love more variety of fruits other than apples and bananas. Even if we had to pay for it. Front desk staff is very helpful. My door latch was coming off and it was fixed the next morning, but i still only barely slept because it was only me with 3 kids. Our room was cleaned everyday, which i appreciate with a 4 and 7 year old. They have a happy hour and you get a coupon for 2 alcoholic drinks , did that on the last evening there. Kids got free soda along with their snacks. It was great. 1 complaint is the Gym. It had 1 elliptical, 1 treadmill and 1 bench without weights. Went to exercise, there was no towels, or equipment wipes to clean up. Went to get water the light was on, it was empty. Sespite this, the hotel was worth the price. Hotel is is about 10 mins from the largetest mall in illinois, And lots of other restaurants nearby.

The property was clean and the front desk was welcoming. The cookues were delicious and a soecial treat. The breakfast was well stocked and the food was good. We were on a girls' shopping trip and we thought the hotel was in a good location. We gave the hotel a 4 because the hot tub was not working and the hallways were loud starting around 730am, but in fairness we were across from the cleaning room.

We will definitely stay here again when in the area. Super clean and spacious room. Comfortable. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Hot tub wasn’t working this time, but they have one and a decent sized pool and workout room.

Property has been renovated and was very clean. Bedding was soft and comfy. Breakfast had many choices, a clean dining room, and nice seating area. Receptionist went out of her way to communicate about, and provide us with a quiet room location. All staff were friendly.

I recently stayed at Country Inn and had a mixed experience. While the check-in process was smooth and the staff were friendly, there were a few issues that detracted from my stay. One of the most disturbing aspects was the noise level. There were several guests running and screaming in the hallway during the night, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy my time in the room. Additionally, I noticed that the bathtub in my room wasn’t clean upon arrival. The rooms seemed to be updated and I liked that the rooms didn't have carpet (vinyl flooring instead), but the beds were very worn and used and there was a lot of dirt and dust still in the corners of the room. The breakfast was fine but everything was with plastic forks and cheap Styrofoam plates. Coffee was awful. The pool was cold and small but the hot tub was nice.

They put us in a smoking room which I thought the whole hotel was non smoking and there was an ash tray in our room. So between the mold and smoke smell it was terrible. We have pictures of mold in our room also.

The stay was good but the Pool was not clean, it was Muggy and we couldn’t see the bottom of the pool, which no pool should be Muggy, and we were looking forward to the pool and we asked about it but it still looked the same after maintenance looked at it

Lisa at the front desk was outstanding. Professional and friendly. The exterior looked a little aged but don't let that fool you. The interior was modern and comfortable. The bed was great.

Need to get rid of the headboards. Had a horrible night stay as each time someone in our room or the next room rolled over in the bed. The headboard would hit against the wall, very loud and annoying, made for restful sleep being impossible.

Comfortable beds, clean room and updated… Got in late so was given a late checkout. Decent breakfast. Kind and accommodating staff… King suite was huge! We stayed on our way out of town and as our flight back from Myrtle Beach was delayed hours, we ended up having to stay in a hotel on the way back… We enjoyed this property so much that we booked again for the way back. Definitely will stay again.

Manager Lisa was professional, friendly and accommodating. If not for her the property might have received one less star. All the beds were comfy and both rooms were clean. Our first room on this stay was a king suite. The suite was large but seemed to be unfinished in decor. This suite faced Roselle Rd. which was somewhat noisy. Upon our request Lisa moved us to a 2 queen bed room on the opposite side. This room was pretty quiet. For the price paid it was a good value. Again, thank you Lisa!

There was a family of 3 adults and 2 kids above that pounded on the floor until midnight and started back again at 7 am. They were jumping deliberately extra hard when I yelled for them to keep it down. I complained to the front desk and she asked if I went to their room to tell them to stop!! That was a disastrous respond. The front desk did talk to them and she called my room and said they admitted to pounding on the floor and made threats what would have happened if I went up to tell them to keep it down! I had plenty of other choices to stay in that area and I find it appalling that any rooms on top floors are rented to children knowing this is an issue and appalled to the fact the front desk asked if I wanted to to go their room and basically confront them. Extremely unprofessional on the Hotels part.

Was told by the Front Desk Agent that our Expedia reservation was cancelled and refused to check us in as the property was sold out. Due to time constraints, was forced to book at another hotel and spend additional money. Called Expedia the next morning and was told they refused to refund me due to being noshowed by the property. What a scam!

The problems started at check-in. They had problems running my credit card. Then they said the reservation was for one night, when we booked two nights. They gave me the keys and said we had a queen suite. I booked a king, accessible suite. I told them my husband and I have to have a king bed, so I wouldn't have booked the queen suite. The clerk said she would see if they had any king rooms available. When they gave us the keys, we decided to check the room before getting our bags. It was a regular king room. We had paid for a king, accessible, 1 bedroom suite. We went back again and, after a couple of minutes, we were given a regular king suite. We were also disappointed in the limited channels on the TV. The final issue was that they allow dogs in the breakfast area of the hotel. I try to avoid hotels that allow dogs. I would never expect that they would be in the food area. I don't understand why most travel websites can filter for pet friendly, but not for no pets allowed. My grandson is extremely allergic to dogs, so that would be more helpful than pet friendly.

The staff at check-in was very nice, very personable. I understand the room cleaning was behind schedule because of a wedding the night before. I asked if the room was ready at 3:20 and was told it wasn't ready yet. At 3:30 I decided to go to the room since I had the key and it was ready. I got a call from the receptionist around 3:45 saying the room is ready. Breakfast was good and the facilities are spacious. I didn't mention the Expedia VIP perk because we couldn't drink a bottle of wine during the 1 night stay and couldn't take it on my flight the next day and didn't want to waste it.

This is our third time staying at this hotel and we like it very much for the price and the overall quality of this hotel. it's located in a very convenient part of Schamburg, shopping and restaurants are very close by. It's a safe and quiet environment. Staff is very friendly. The property itself is very clean. I wrote a negative review for this hotel the first time I stayed because there were a few things I wasn't very happy with. Managment reached out to me letting me vent my concerns. since then, I have been back multiple times and am more pleased with our stay. Looking forward to staying here again! Book the room with the jacuzzi! You won't regret it.

The property overall was great, however, I specifically wanted a place with a hot tub and theirs was out of service during my stay. When I checked in and they offered me my “free bottle of wine“ that was to be included with my stay, they only had one bottle left, and it was champagne, not wine, so I declined it.

It could have been cleaner in the communal areas. Rooms were very clean, but need updated/maintenance. Pool had no towels in area, which was inconvenient. The pool area wasn't cleaned during the stay either. Staff was very friendly though! Breakfast was good for free- Eggs, sausage, and either french toast or potato. They also had make your waffles, toast, cereal, yogurt and fruit. Along with juices. The coffee was horrible, bring your own or head out to Starbucks less than a mile away. Acceptable experience.
