Hyatt Regency Schaumburg Chicago

The carpeting in our room had dark black ink stains right as we walked in, which was not a great first impression. The bathroom is updated, yet tiny, and there's unused empty room space outside of it, so that was a little frustrating. The bed was comfortable, and the rest of the room was tidy and nice. The elevators are dated, and one was broken most of our stay. We got coffee early both mornings and there was only one man working at the cafe counter, so the line/wait was unusually long. Overall, we found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Best of the stay was the hotel breakfast! Hotel was OK, pool was OK, but the people in the breakfast was out of the ordinary. Thanks you Cristino, Bashkim and Floriberto!!

Room could have been cleaner. Counter and mirror had hairs and gross yellow stuff near leather tray, yuk. Staff wonderful and bartender made great margarita!
