I really enjoyed my stay at the Courtyard Marriott Waukegan. The property had great amenities, pool, hot tub, fitness center, etc... There's also a small bistro / bar for drinks, & light food. The front desk staff was awesome!

This Courtyard Marriott is located at a convenient centralized location and within a short walking distance to a Starbucks, a Walmart, and a few fast food restaurants. There is also a Starbucks located in the lobby of the hotel. However the hours are limited. The lobby is very clean, spacious, and comfortable with an abundance of couches and chairs to relax in. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Our room was super clean and roomy with all the essentials. The bed was very comfortable. No odors on any of the linens, pillows, or towels. The climate control system in the room worked perfectly and water temperatures from the shower and sink were spot on. We were there on a Tuesday to a Friday and the hotel was quiet and our sleep was never interrupted. We were completely satisfied and happy with our stay at this hotel and highly recommend it.

The jacuzzi was filthy and did not work properly, a change if filter and attention was needed. There were no towels i called the front desk from the pool they never came after an hour we just went to the front desk wet to request towels. The room beds were low to the ground andlack luster i did get cloroxwipes to self clean. It was my daughters bday and she could not enjoy the jacuzzi do to it being filthy with particles floating.

One of the reasons we wanted to get away was to relax and enjoy the hot tub, however, the hot tub water was so scalding hot we couldn’t sit in it. My legs turned bright red immediately. Otherwise, a decent stay.

The first room we were in was so small and not what I was expecting they moved us to a different room. There was construction all over the hotel and the indoor pool was freezing and the hot tub was not turned on.

There was some renovation work around the building which cause parking issues at night. Overall, it was wonderful staying there and I definitely recommend it to everyone.

Great service and the room was extremely clean and comfortable. During our stay, we received notification that our room would be cleaned (for one of our days). We were a little puzzled as far as the level of cleaning that was done. We figured a wipe down of the sink and vacuuming would have occurred but unfortunately it did not. I feel this is a one-time occurrence because we stayed at this hotel multiple times with no complaints. Marriott Courtyard will continue to be my choice for accommodations when I return to Chicago.

Hotel was great with the exception of the pillows. They were fluffy but as soon as you lay your head down it’s flat and oddly lumpy. My husband and I had 2 rough nights of sleep. The bed was comfortable, hotel clean, staff is friendly. I just wish we bright our own pillows. Why do so many hotels have awful pillows?

Beds were very hard, this is an OLD hotel and it shows. Rooms are incredibly small!!! Says balcony but you can’t go out on it, I wouldn’t fit a person or chair outside anyway. Hallway smells funny

The room was clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and my family had a good nights sleep.The staff was very accommodating and helpful with anything we needed. The only things that were a problem at the time was that we didn't have hot water. It was luke warm in winter, and wifi service was down.

The room was comfortable. Employees were extremely helpful. I was there for my sailor’s bootcamp graduation and they gave me a packet with all sorts of information on it. Abi at the front desk helped me plan some fun things to do and was super friendly! Great service overall.

I wholeheartedly was surprised at how clean this hotel was throughout. The front desk could use some upgrading including the front desk employee Rod. The young ladies at the front desk were both pleasant and professional, however Rod was rude, impolite and unprofessional-and unprovoked. It matters not what he did so I dont need to publish it here. Do not be deterred by my comment about his isolated attitude, demeanor, blatant disrespectful laugh and loud whopping when he knew he was wrong and not even being spoken with. The hotel is worth staying as it is very comfortable and extremely clean throughout the hotel, their gym and the room I stayed in overnight. The price point was a little high. They only had one front desk attendant with over 7 people in line; Rod wheeled himself through the line stating he would help the next person in line, only to help the young lady resolve an issue- further delaying assisting the clients in line.

Overall the place was very nice and rooms were well maintained. However, we were across from an extremely loud family and we had to call the front desk and complain. They never got more quiet and the hotel, did nothing about it. Extremely disappointed with the experience

Loved our stay! Very clean and comfy. Close by Starbucks, Denny’s and Walmart. Central to everything you need and only a quick 12 minute drive to the RTC Navy Base. Would 100% recommend this hotel!

I loved that we were only 5mins away from the Navy base, there was optional transportation to and from the base for a very reasonable price. Reservation is required and can be made when checking in. There's a Starbucks and delicious restaurant literally 5yds from the hotel and a Wal-Mart within walking distance. Highly recommend if going to Navy boot camp graduation.

We stayed here because we were going to six flags and it was pretty close by. I wasn’t expecting it to be so close to stores and dining which was a major plus. The room was clean. Check in was smooth and easy. The overall look of the hotel was nice. I would definitely recommend and I would stay here again should I decide to visit the area. The balcony was also an added plus ;) only thing I wish was that this hotel came with free breakfast.

The stay here was great. We were staying at this location because our daughter graduated from Navy bootcamp. They had an info packet they passed out to Navy families that welcomed them and also came with instructions. Restaurants and shops were within close proximity. They only thing that I didn't like was that dinner service was closed both nights I was there. I chose this hotel because of the bistro inside it. I didn't get alot of time with my daughter so I wanted to take advantage of the pool, hot tub, and bistro instead of having to go elsewhere for the food. Anyway, other than that it was a good day and breakfast was good!

The first person we meet in guest services was amazing, had us all laughing at check in. Our tv did not work so they quickly assisted uss with moving to a different room. Over very happy. Ps..bistro food was amazing!!

Really great hotel! You have to pay for breakfast. I opted to add $20 at the time of booking so we could have breakfast. You order from a menu and they cook it fresh for you. Seriously the BEST hotel breakfast I’ve had! $20 for a family of 4. Very comfortable mattresses. The pool and hot tub were great!

Check in woman took her time to ask what brought us to the area, even with people waiting behind me. While she worked we chatted about the area, where to park when we went to a concert in town, etc. She was very efficient, very helpful and never flustered while getting us checked in. We travel a lot and I would say it was the nicest check in ever! The lobby, breakfast area and our room were all very clean. Breakfast was different. Not your normal breakfast buffet. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. Food wasn’t great but good coffee.
