Excellent hotel with friendly staff. They were so nice to my dog. I wish that they had water fountains because they only had water bottles available. They also do not recycle, so we had to throw away like 10 water bottles by the end of the trip. The bartender is very nice. The bar is closed on Sundays. There is an excellent grassy area where you can walk your dog, and there are trash, cans, and bags available to pick up your dog’s waste. The pool was nice, but outdated. It looked clean. The lobby is very nice, clean, and modern. There are plenty of parking spaces between the front and the back. The hotel room was very nice and clean. The TV only has DIRECTV on it. The elevators are fast. I can’t wait to go back for another trip!

We chose this hotel because it had a pool and laundry facilities, and neither were working when we were there so that was a bit of a disappointment. We were doing a lot of hiking, so a pool/hot tub at the end of the day would have been nice. Also, we needed to do some laundry and couldn't do that because the washing machine was broken. I can understand one thing, but both made it very frustrating.

Solid dining options within walking distance of the hotel. Easy access to the freeway. Only ‘complaint’ is that the hot tub wasn’t working (water was cold). Otherwise we had a great stay.

Great hotel! Amenities are a plus they have a laundry room with a large washer and dryer for $2. Staff was sweet and professional, she gave my puppies treats! Rooms are nice and bed is comfortable!

The pool and fitness center was out of service. The lobby was having construction done. Most of the breakfast was burnt. I was electrocuted/shocked by the elevator button i informed staff and they didn’t do anything about it. I usually love Hilton but this place is just missing a lot.

Friendly staff, clean hotel. Pool was closed due to a chemical issue, so my kids were bummed. Breakfast isn't free, so we went across the street to Biggby. Overall, a good stay.

The hot tub was out of service. The treadmill belt was ripped. The yoga mats have cuts in them like someone cut them intentionally. I stayed in room 202 the shades were held up by paper clips/clamps. The tub had big chips in it. The stairs were closed. I've been staying at this location for years! it's probably the best hotel within 20 minutes of the Dunes Beach, over all it feels clean and safe but it's definitely declined over the years.

This hotel allows pets. Unfortunately, the cleaning staff failed to see the dog poop in the bathroom left by a previous guest. It blended in perfectly with the dark bathroom floor. It was dry and pretty much odorless until I stepped in it late Xmas eve night. The front desk quickly gave us another room.

Dogs barked in the room next to me for a large portion of the evening. Blood on toilet from whoever cleaned the room prior to me checking in as it was wet. The linen was not changed from previous guest as I found multiple hairs under the comforter. The room was infested with gnats...... I was extremely annoyed by the condition of the room......I wore socks and all my clothes due to how nasty the room was. I was soo exhausted by the time I checked in I had no energy to put up a fight over the barking dogs or nasty room

For $118 without tax room wss in poor shape. Cracked sink, side table was sticky, dirt and stains on walls, toilet paper fell off its holder. Upon check out they never asked how our room or stay was. The news station was correct if you book through a thrid party app the hotel gives you the worst room they have. Very disappointed with Hilton.

I could barely sleep. Lot of noise from the cars on the road. Lot of noise from other rooms. They have no noise proof. Break fast is the worst. Not even oat meal was cooked properly. I had to park at all the way back and walk in dark all the way to the front.

It doesn’t make sense to me that for almost 350 a night, and what seemed almost every room filled, they’re not investing back into the property. From broken mirrors in the hallway, broken blinds in my room, a significant amount of grout missing on the bathroom floor. I won’t be going back.

Property was nice but very disappointed in our room. There was quite a bit of water damage on our ceiling with some areas peeling. Also the pull down shade was not installed correctly so we were unable to put it all the way down. In addition, check in time was listed as 3:00 pm. We arrived at 5:00 pm and our room was not ready yet. This was not what we expected for a Hilton hotel.

Outside the property was well kept and the lobby entrance was clean and updated. Convenient access to Indiana Dunes NP. The room itself was average. Our blackout curtain was kept rolled up by two binder clips, we were missing full body towels, the bathroom sink drained incredibly slow, and the coffee creamers in the room were spoiled and curdling. It was slightly pricier than the hotels around it and I don’t feel like it was worth it.

Curtains were held open with binder clips. They were broken. Carpet was frayed and worn. Bathroom lighting was rusted. Employees were great but the hotel is in bad shape. Will not be staying there again

She got us checked in quickly and let us go put in a quick food order from The restaurant before the kitchen shut down . The food was excellent and the bartender/server took care of us. The location and closeness to the dunes made the hotel The best solution for us . Everyone we came in contact with was extremely helpful ! We definitely enjoyed our stay and will be back .

I recently traveled to the area for a family funeral from California. chose this location because it had a bathtub and that was a necessity for me. I could have picked a more economical hotel in the area but it only offered a shower. The Hilton had a fire in the broiler room which resulted in no hot water for over 36 hours. I contacted the staff and they continued to tell me the water would be on in a couple of hours several different times. My two night stay was awful and very unsanitary. After speaking with Tim, the manager, I was reassure that they would be refunding me but no refund was ever issued. Tim expressed reassurance that he sent an email and that the refund would be granted. However, two weeks later still no refund or contact from the Hilton. This is unacceptable customer service from a company that I previously respected. Shame on them for not completing their promise to make things right.

Overnight trip to visit family. The hotel is always clean and comfortable. There’s a good selection of snacks and quick bites in the lobby and the area is adding a lot of new food options. Great location for the Dunes right off the toll road and close to the freeway.

The property is located close to an Interstare Tollroad. Convenient for access to the tollroad but located in a non-residential area. The room is nice and clean. Had a traditional tub/shower and not a roomy walk-in shower like some other hotel properties.

I have mixed emotions about this property. Overall, as a place to lay our heads for one night, it was fine. The room was clean and a very nice size for a family of four. We were in town for a football tournament so I also give thumbs up for location convenience. However, the advertised amenities such as the whirlpool, buffet breakfast, etc., were subpar. One of the staff was also very rude to our children. I would expect the amenities to be much better given the cost of our stay. The breakfast "buffet" consisted of bagels, cereal, grits, and I think yogurt. No protein, no fruit. For $10 per person that is woefully unacceptable. The whirlpool/hot tub was also inoperable all weekend. Coffee was not available all day, as advertised and the hotel was understaffed so the bar was closed for a portion of our. I would recommend for cleanliness, size, and proximity to Chesterton High School. However, don\'t expect much beyond that. Without said amenities, I would say it\'s overpriced but it is a safe, clean place to stay.

We enjoyed our time only issue is that we did not know that the cereal and other items were charged there was no signs as there was for other item's. The front desk had not mentioned when checking in the the made to order and the coffee station did have but not the side

The service was good as in staff was very friendly. The Hotel and the room I stayed in was very clean and well organized. The bed itself was uncomfortable in my wife and I opinion but we also do have a very comfortable mattress at home and are used to sleeping on a higher quality mattress. I did expect Hilton to have a little higher quality mattress however. My main complaint is breakfast was not included in the price of the room. I rented a jr suite room for the extra room and comfort because my wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. My opinion is seeing I had already paid extra for a better room the LEAST Hilton could have done was include breakfast. Holiday Inn Express or Best Western automatically includes breakfast when you rent a room from them which is where my wife and I usually stay. But seeing this was our wedding anniversary I figured I’d try Hilton which is supposed to be a more pleasant Hotel to stay at? When I found out we had to pay extra for breakfast when we already spent more money for a nicer hotel and paid extra for a nicer room, I felt having to pay even more for breakfast was quite rude. I HIGHLY doubt that I will stay at a Hilton again. I’ll stick with hotels that don’t have a problem with spoiling their paying customers.
