Average breakfast, rickety elevator. Someplace above average of a now bygone era. The staff were welcoming; everyone I came in to contact with were accommodating. With a room change after the first night, everything else went well - thanks to my solutions based front desk staff. They are not pet-friendly; there’s a sign on the desk and you can’t miss it. We did not travel w any pets. Major shopping area! Nice size event room. Clean linens. Affordable. Breakfast. Coffee.

Renovation work was in progress on my floor. The contractors were friendly and courteous. However, the 0730 hour construction work time on Saturday morning wasn't pleasant after an all day drive the day before. The hotel breakfast staff was outstanding-friendly and helpful.

We selected this location because of the breakfast bar pictures and it did not disappoint. In addition to a terrific room with a GREAT selection of cable channels, easy to use internet, well stocked bathroom with better than average towels and HOT shower, the breakfast area had PLENTY of room to spread out while serving scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links, and a pretty much amazing selection of toppings for your oatmeal in addition to waffles, hard boiled eggs, toast, milk, orange juice, yogurt and more. All very clean as well. Easy parking. Pool.

We were back at the Fairfield Marriott for a family reunion weekend. There were 4 couples of us staying there. The lobby area had plenty of seating areas for us to gather and catch up. I noticed several other families were there probably for the same reason as us. The lounge accommodated all of us. Our room had plenty of space. The only problem was the tub had a constant drip/stream of water. So, that kind of negated the conservation efforts. The breakfast was plentiful and had lots of options. We all had a good breakfast both mornings before starting our day. The breakfast attendant was excellent (I'm sorry I forgot her name). She kept the coffee pots filled and all of the other supplies in order. She also kept the counters and tables wiped. I also had excellent service from one of the desk managers on Saturday afternoon. We had returned from our reunion and I was exhausted. I called to ask for 2 washcloths, since we had used the first 2 that morning. I was so pooped, I asked her to bring them to me. She had them there in about 5 minutes. I was so thankful. This is at least our 2nd stay in recent months at this hotel, as well as my brother's. Since we have family in the area, it won't be our last.

The sheets were very rough. The front desk person was not very professionally dressed or friendly. The food was fresh and the employee who worked it was pleasant. The pool was closed almost all weekend.

One I entered my room I pulled the sheets back and saw dirty sheets and a used Q-tip. I immediately returned to front desk and requested a new room and upon arriving in my new room the pillow cases looked to be dirty.

Reported blood on the bathroom floor upon arrival. Desk clerk apologized but never cleaned up. Tub floor peeling, tub surround dirty, black substance on wall under sink. Second time in as many stays we were awakened by the fire alarm and spent time in the parking lot. Stayed here MANY times but never again. Definitely not Marriot quality any more.

It was 97 degrees during the day and the air conditioning stopped working during the night at some point. As we left for the day the next morning we asked the front desk to please have it fixed while we were out. We returned approximately 9 pm and our room was 80 degrees as the air conditioning wasn’t fixed or even followed up on. Maintenance was gone of course for the night so we had to leave and stay elsewhere. Never offered a new room or compensation! Won’t be back!!

The staff at this Fairfield were all very friendly and kind. High marks for that for sure. The bed and pillows left a lot to be desired….very firm mattress and super flat pillows. For one night it was all fine. Nice breakfast in the morning.
