Elevator doesn’t work. Vending machines don’t work. ( i was told they can’t get anyone to supply them, and this is in an area where there are no less than 4 other hotels!). Ran out of hot water during my shower the first morning. Walls and ceiling are so thin I could hear the kids in the room above running races in the room and in the hallway above. The breakfast was very nice, however.

Disappointing visit. The elevator and vending machine were both out of service. In addition, they must not have concrete between floors, because I heard A LOT of noise (mostly just walking and moving) from the floor above my room, as well as from the hallway.

There was not a hot tub as pictured! (The description also mentions pool and heated pool, very misleading with the hot tub in pictures). The hot tub was my deciding factor to book here! They were very under staffed. There were no towels available at the pool, and when I went to the desk to ask for them she was away taking care of another room. I waited 15 min for her to return. It was only 7pm, there should always be someone available at the desk. I could not get a roll away bed, they said they didn’t have any. There weren’t any extra linens in the room, I had to go to the desk to get them for the “single” sofa bed. If I were taller than 5 foot I would not have even fit on the single. My refrigerator defrosted, or just quit working, through the night as there was water all over the floor when I woke up. The elevator was down when we arrived. I’m extremely disappointed in this stay!

One major issue, this place has two elevators. Both were shut down for maintenance. When I checked in the only rooms available were on the third floor. My wife and I are 72 years old. I have mobility issues that were exasperated by the fact we were on the third floor and had to deal with this inconvenience. One last complaint, the fact that Holiday Inn Express shut down both elevators at the same time shows bad planning and a total disregard for the customers. I worked forty years in commercial construction projects, I worked on many elevator installations. Planning a job to install upgraded elevator systems is not difficult, a good planner always try to minimize the impact on the riders/customers,

Elevator out for my entire stay of 6 days. Unacceptable! It could have been repaired in that time frame! Everyone was kind and accommodating EXCEPT for Lisa, who worked 2 of the night shifts I was there. She was very rude and should be fired! Totally incompetent and in the wrong job! She should never be a Concierge at a hotel! Power was out for hours due to storm one morning, but not their fault. Make sure all elevators are working before you stay there.

Came for my daughters birthday party. She wanted to swim, the pool water was green. Couple kids had rashes after swimming. I was in the pool for a little but the chlorine was so much, I had to get out. Online pictures show a hot tub but that was removed. Staff wasn’t welcoming not rude just very nonchalant. The hotel wasn’t filthy just not the cleanest. Overall if you’re like us with limited options because of events in the city, it’s ok for one night. Would never use the pool though

Minor detail but found a stain on bedspread and candy crumbs on the floor that ants were carrying away. But with that said "only minor stuff". The building was clean and well maintained. The elevator was none functional which made it difficult for my wife (post surgery) on crutches to climb stairs. "Sh!t happens and things breakdown" understandable. The staff was super friendly, room accommodating, pool decent and breakfast surprisingly tasty.

The stay was quite nice in regards to the staff, rooms and cleanliness. The big negative was the lack of an elevator. It has been broken for 6 months and needs replacement. For young folks, that may not be a problem. For those of us approaching 70, it is a problem.

This Holiday Inn is one of the best ive ever stayed at. It smelled clean and the carpets were clean. The room was huge and modern with our own keurig and pods. The shower was also big with big bottles of Dove shampoo which smell amazing!!! Will definitely be booking here again!!!!

Average hotel overall.Easy to get to the location from the highway. Lobby was clean a modern, but the carpet in the hallways need to be cleaned. When we got to our room it smelled like someone had just used the bathroom. Breakfast had plenty of options.

There were a few bugs that I saw in the bathroom. The room llooked worn in places... furniture and floor. I reported a huge crack in the window, it was already thst way. When i brought it up again, it was like they had never heard about it. They did nothing about it while i was there.

The front desk staff was great. Very friendly, professional, and helpful. The hotel is located in a very convenient area with lots of food options close by. The breakfast at the hotel was meh, and the hallway on the first floor smelled musty, possibly because the indoor pool was near our room. We didn’t notice the shower head was pointed out into the bathroom so we flooded the bathroom floor the first night. The hotel could use a little TLC on the furniture and doors. Unfortunately, the towels felt like sandpaper.

Bed was comfy but that was it. The room desperately needs a deep cleaning and tile repair in the bathroom. The TP holder and towel rack need replacing as they were rusty. Shower had mold in places on the grout. Room door did not even shut all the way. Check in was easy. The hotel clerk fraudulently charged my card $5 but how many times has he done this to people? I’ve contacted Holiday Inn Express and was supposed to hear back within 48 hrs by hotel management staff but it’s been crickets. Won’t stay here again and this stay definitely has tainted the image IHG has.

Lobby and dining area was updated and clean, although smelled like raw sewage all four days that we were there. Front desk and dining employees were pleasant and efficient. Our room really lacked any appeal. The pictures must have been of the updated rooms. Our room was not updated. Old fixtures, baseboards, mirrors etc. Walls were dirty and the bathroom fan did not work well so walls and sink etc were always wet after a shower. And shower fixtures were old and didn’t work well. Room smelled very musty, like old cigarette smoke. Overall I would not stay again but it did the job for sleeping while visiting family in the area and breakfast choices were decent enough.

Never got an email confirming checkout and when I call the hotel it doesn’t ring and just tells me the line is busy. I need a a receipt for work and apparently cannot get one? Plank flooring in the room was water damaged, and no carpet in the rooms made everything much more noisy making it hard to sleep. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for business.

Be aware that this hotel has a surcharge of $5/nt for self parking. It is listed in the details of the property, but I missed that bit of information. I was not expecting a charge for parking. Never have had to pay for parking at IHG hotels in the past. Most of the channels on the TV were not working. We did not receive refills of K-cups in the room one night. The breakfast was very good. Not a terrible experience, just was surprised about the charge for parking and would have liked to have had morning coffee in the room.

the room was clean and comfortable. The blinds were not correct for the room, since half the blinds were floor length even though they needed to be above the heating/A/C structure. You could see holes in the blinds where people had obviously used safety pins to pull the blinds together so that you would not have all kinds of light coming into the room during the day and especially at night. Also, the dresser had nicks and gouges in it, which was low class. The waste baskets were under size, so inadequate. The room did not get cleaned. We could easily hear the people in the floor above walking around and some talking. The facility was clean and neat and the bed and breakfast selection was very good. Just seemed like the room was not being maintained to the same level as the hotel overall.

Just a little disappointed that I was told after I checked in and a room was assigned to me that the elevators didn’t work. It’s best to be open and upfront before checking someone in. They could be claustrophobic or have trauma from feeling trapped or medically not able to take the stairs.

To start off they had no record of my reservation and it took a while to sort that issue out. From there we was assigned room 310 to only have my wife, daughter and her teenage friend head to the room before and walk into another guest already in there. Talk about my wife being startled and concerned for her safety, this did it! The whole mood was shifted from this moment on. Maybe the front desk staff needs more training!

The only reason I can give a star at all is because of Sandra (I hope I got her name correct) she was the saving grace that made my check out at least positive. If it were not for her I would find out a way to give negative stars. There was some initial confusion at check in which was understandable with the frustration of technology…but, I was treated like a bum off the street and eventually threatened to be kicked out and have police called. The situation of me being frustrated escalated to the point of irrational unprofessional and out right incompetence. My professional organization will no longer be using this hotel for anything ever again in the future. Do not stay here. The staff will ruin your trip.

Overall this place was clean and comfortable. For check in the room was very clean. The cleaning of the room while I was there was not so good. The towels were thin and not good quality. Shower worked great and plenty of hot water. Parking was easy, well lit. Area is a very safe area. Lots of food places walking distance. Pictures on website were accurate. I did not try the breakfast. Pool was very small, but appeared clean and well maintained.

The room was big which was nice. It was very noisy out in the hallways every night. Slamming of doors (which I think they do that automatically.) Men were talking very loudly and sounded drunk. We did like the convenience to I-69. The front desk receptionist was very friendly.

Basically, I love the Hard floors in rooms but causes a lot of noise if you are on the first or second floor. Pillows were horrible. Please invest in some quality pillows. I didn’t even sleep the entire night. You need more staff for the kitchen. Not enough food for the amount of people

I absolutely loved the room! It was stylish, the colors were so inviting, it was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was OK, but I didn’t see anyone readily replenishing the hot foods… and we didn’t see a microwave, so we couldn’t heat up a pastry. We like when hotels are lenient on the breakfast hours as we prefer our sleep, but this was not one of those places. Things were being put away and locked up before we finished. We did know the ending time for breakfast, so that’s on us. We just like the more casual places that keep things open as long as people are there. We liked that there was an option to eat outdoors as we always prefer that on a beautiful day. There is a small pool that we were able to enjoy. We were also able to extend our checkout time, which was helpful. We would stay at this hotel again.
