Stayed 2 nights

We chose this hotel largely because of the outdoor pool, but it was closed for our entire stay with no advance notice. We were not even informed at check-in and only found out after asking how to access the pool. Maintenance issues happen, but better communication and a more apologetic response would have made a big difference. The property also felt poorly maintained, with debris in the parking lot, overgrown grass, and generally neglected grounds. Breakfast was very disappointing and concerning. Much of the food was completely uncovered, including a large open bowl of yogurt and boiled eggs, while flies were present in the area. The selection was limited, and the quality felt unusually cheap and generic for a Hyatt. The scrambled eggs looked very pale and processed, and overall I did not feel comfortable eating the breakfast. The staff were not rude, but they did not seem particularly welcoming or engaged. The QR code in our room advertised a restaurant/menu, but scanning it did not actually provide a menu, which was confusing. The pullout couch was also dirty enough that we did not feel comfortable using it. I dislike leaving negative reviews, but this stay was genuinely surprising for a Hyatt. Better communication, cleanliness, food safety, property upkeep, and guest service would make a significant difference.

The breakfast options were good but if you ate later, the hot food was cold/soggy/had been sitting there since start. The oatmeal had a crust on it and the milk from the small cooler was warm
