The pool was closed for the whole weekend we were there. The pool was one of the main reasons we chose this location. My son was very disappointed. Overall, the hotel itself was old and dirty. The staff was not helpful at all. The toilet was clogged for half our stay. He finally arrived after we were checking out. The beds were uncomfortable and the bathroom was the size of a shower stall. When we checked in, the carpets were filthy. Even the TV remote was sticky and gross. My son woke up covered in bites, either from bedbugs or some other critter. The breakfast was terrible. You had to wait for them to restock everything. They didn’t even have plates!!! Also, no elevator to the second floor. I have a disability where I cannot climb stairs. Extremely disappointing.

I had a car issue traveling through the area on New Years Eve. I found the property through Expedia and it was close to my break down. The room was okay and the property was quiet. There isn't much around it. There was a fridge and micro in the room. It was incredibly cold those 2 nights and there was a large gap between the door and the door frame that cold air just gushed through. The other thing was they were out of key cards so the front desk person had to let you into your room every time which was weird. If you had to run for ice you just propped the door open or you went to the front desk to ask them to open it and they never asked for an ID which felt a little unsafe. The breakfast was good.

Plus: The staff was beyond helpful, going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the parking was convenient. The location is easy to reach off the highway. The refrigerator and microwave worked well. Cons: in need of maintenance. Big hole in carpet, spackle on wall repair not painted. Desk chair was defective, the level mechanism was broken, so the seat was about a foot off the ground. The laundry machines were not working. Biggest Plus: Horse Cave's Hidden River Cave is only a few minutes from the motel. It's a must-see!

Booked here for pool and breakfast. Pool was not open for season, breakfast was VERY limited and there was almost no where to sit. Rooms were dirty, we booked a non-smoking room and there were ashes on the bible and in the night stand drawer, ashes on the carpet in front of the TV. Clearly a vacuum was not used before our stay. The room stunk and the beds were very firm and uncomfortable. The other patrons were loud and it was disruptive. Would not stay here again.

Photographs are not the same facility. Very deceptive. The pool was cloudy with blobs floating. We did not allow our disappointed children to swim. Our room had dirty sheets. We had to get clean ones from front desk. The bathroom had no ventilation which had to have caused the mold they tried to paint over. The entire room looked as if it had never been cleaned properly. So glad we brought bleach and paper towels.

The place was nasty. And dirty. Nothing like pictured. We were given a dirty room first time, rooms were switched out after going back to office. My room smelled HEAVILY of cigarette smoke. BLACK mold on the walls, tiles broken off the wall revealing a hole next to bathtub. Mysterious water on the floor. Breakfast was JUST bagles and muffins. The guy at the counter couldnt be bothered to set up the breakfast stuff. Another customer did it. Waffle maker was broken. Front desk guy stared us down and was incredibly rude.

This property is in terrible repair, and the rooms are disgusting. It appeared that it has not been vacuumed maybe ever. Mystery substances everywhere. Cobwebs all over the place. It is just absolutely disgusting. We stayed the first night because of the late hour that we arrived with exhausted teenagers, but did not stay the second night that was reserved. Employee stated that they were not allowed to spend any money to update and that she didn't blame us for going elsewhere. This place is so terrible that it really should be shut down. I've always experienced reasonable accommodations for the price with Quality Inn, but this place does not even approach their standard. I highly recommend that you spend a little more and stay in a place that's decent.

The room was disgusting! There were several spots of blood on the walls, yes BLOOD. The floor looked like it hadn’t been swept in months, the ceiling was literally falling into the room in one corner. There were a few broken windows on a few of the. other rooms and they had just covered the broken spots with tape. It smelled absolutely horrid. We walked into the room and immediately walked back out to go to the front desk and ask for a refund. They had a man that was “security” walking around the property. He was in jeans, a black shirt and black sunglasses. As we were getting back into our vehicle to leave he was walking around taking photos of everyone’s license plates. I’m sure had we stayed, we would have found many other issues.

Unfortunately, my stay was NOT enjoyable. There were people up late into the night (Wednesday). The Cable was out. I found it out in my room. I complained, WHY didn’t they tell me that at Check In? A $50 CASH fee is held and is returned in the morning. Not sure why. They didn’t check my room before I left. It’s just an inconvenience. I found roaches in the bathroom. Disappointing…

NO HOT WATER The place is a little run down, not as nice as the photoshop version on Expedia. The woman at the front desk was apologetic and doing the best she can. But NO HOT WATER. Owner will not respond to phone calls or email. I find out about NO HOT WATER at 11pm as I am getting ready for bed. What are you supposed to do? The establishment knew about this at least a few days prior to my arrival, apparently they hope not too many people will complain. Would you book a room knowing there was NO HOT WATER? Really a bait and switch, Expedia should remove this listing and not put it back until it’s fixed. Really unbelievable. NO HOT WATER And they knew about it ahead of time. Requesting refund. That is all.

Excellent and friendly staff. The rooms however are very worn. Baseboards falling off, carpets worn out, dirty, shower curtain in horrible shape. Bathtub has rust stains and tile caving in. Worn out furniture. Carpets need replaced. Overall ok for $65.

The room was in disrepair, curtains were dirty, marks on walls, something stuffed in the peep hole in the door. I moved out the night stand to look for an outlet and it hasn't been cleaned in a very long time back there. The room was musty and smelled like a damp basement. There were cracks between the door and the door jamb so you clearly could see daylight. The sheets were clean, the toilet was clean, and the air conditioner worked (although old and dirty) but the there is obviously no pride of ownership.

DO. NOT. STAY. HERE. Property looks unsafe upon driving up. We still gave it a shot (hadn't read the reviews as we were on the road all day), then it took 30 minutes to check us in. Finally got everyone unloaded and headed into the room, got a whiff of the air, looked around the room, then we immediately walked out. Tried to cancel at the front desk (another 5-10 minutes), got a cancellation number/letter. Went directly across the street to Holiday Inn (so nice there!). Called my credit card company to cancel any charges there, but payment had already been approved at that point. So I went through Expedia to get my refund, but they couldn't get approval from the hotel management after almost 2 weeks of trying... :( So I was forced to go back through my credit card company and dispute the charge.

We actually left and couldn’t stay at the property. It definitely was not safe and dirty. Very dirty. Holes in ceilings and flooring. Bathroom terrible as well… receptionist was wonderful. Showed us alternative rooms but all were in complete need of repair. We left and told our concerns and requested a refund. We booked a room across the street at the holiday inn express. Would not recommend until actual remodeling occurs.

The place was nasty. And dirty. Nothing like pictured. We were given a dirty room first time, rooms were switched out after going back to office. My room smelled HEAVILY of cigarette smoke. BLACK mold on the walls, tiles broken off the wall revealing a hole next to bathtub. Mysterious water on the floor. Breakfast was JUST bagles and muffins. The guy at the counter couldnt be bothered to set up the breakfast stuff. Another customer did it. Waffle maker was broken. Front desk guy stared us down and was incredibly rude.

Plus: The staff was beyond helpful, going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the parking was convenient. The location is easy to reach off the highway. The refrigerator and microwave worked well. Cons: in need of maintenance. Big hole in carpet, spackle on wall repair not painted. Desk chair was defective, the level mechanism was broken, so the seat was about a foot off the ground. The laundry machines were not working. Biggest Plus: Horse Cave's Hidden River Cave is only a few minutes from the motel. It's a must-see!

The overall experience was poor. From very few breakfast items to no plates or utensils or cups, the free breakfast was lacking each day. Our bathroom door was attached with a paint can opener painted to match the door. It looked like mold on the wall behind the night stand. Dead bug in our ice bucket with no liner. Carpet was so dirty our feet were filthy if we took our shoes off. Front desk service was hit or miss. It looked like the employees kids were skating and biking around the hotel and lobby. I would not recommend at all.

The staff that they had was friendly and helpful. However they are understaffed. Some things are worn out or run down but it mostly worked. Don't expect a full breakfast though. Overall the staff is really trying but they could use some help.

There is no close walk to get food. The Gas station is rather pricey - but it worked for food. There is a truck stop nearby....but you have to drive to that location. It was good for a short stay. Room was organized oddly (#131?). The bathroom is like a jail cell with a shower that lacked a place to put the soap and shampoo. Completely tiled shower - should have that added. Very compact room - the A/C struggled to cool the room. Might need to clean the filters. (There was a heat wave - I biked to the facility.)

When I pulled into the parking lot, there were a lot of people hanging around the parking lot and up on the balconies. Some of them were hooting at my son and I. I felt very unsafe. We walked into the room. It was filthy Stained gross. Even though I could not get a full refund and at the time, I didn’t even know if there was in Hotel with openings near us I canceled my stay paid the one night that I was regard to Pay and left and found a safer and Cleaner hotel.

I would never stay here, ever. I was handed our room keys, and then drove around for 15 minutes trying to find our room. The parking lot was very dimly lit, it was very dark, and looked almost deserted. We couldn’t read the room numbers on the door it was so dark. Finally found our room all the way in the back, where what looked like a abandoned semi cab was sitting with weeds growing around it. The room next to ours had the front glass window busted out with a hole large enough that a person could crawl through it. We drove back around to office, gave her the keys and told her we were leaving. This motel should NOT be an option on Expedia! I like Expedia and use often. This left a negative impression of them too. Although they handled VERY WELL! So I will keep using them, but will be much more skeptical in the future, in regards to accommodation listings.

It can be a little noisy being so close to the interstate. If given the option get a room on the backside. Be ready to wait on hot water as it was about 3 minutes to heat up in the sink. It was about half that time for the shower. There were a couple of light bulbs out but the lighting was adequate. The internet was good but it is open. Think about that before opening anything important. It's not a bad place, just a little rundown.

I can’t say it was a bad stay, you get what you pay for. The breakfast wasn’t even out when we arrive a little after 6:30am. The apple juice had what looked like snot in it and we were told it was an apple peel. This was after been ignored by the gentleman at the desk. We were told the pool was closed and then it opened at 8pm. The lady’s for day shift were great and friendly.

Everything about this motel was terrible. Our room was not cleaned for the entire length of our stay. I had to go every evening and ask for fresh towels for the next morning. On the third night, I took the overflowing trash cans to the office and asked for them to please empty them. The desk clerk grudgingly emptied them. Then she got smart with me when I told her that I was going to write a bad review. There was a construction crew working all night on the motel the first night we were there. So we got very little sleep. We tried to eat breakfast on our first morning. It says on the sign above the motel that they have free hot breakfast. All the food they had was cold things. Nasty muffins, bread that you could toast and bagels. I would not recommend this motel to anyone. Very dirty, noisy, no customer service and unsafe.

Was by far the worst room i have ever seen and ive stay at some crap holes. The tube had 3" of standing water in it when we checked in and had mold all aroind the caulking. Also had mold on the window curtains and ceiling.

The staff was courteous and friendly, and the room had good heat and a comfortable bed. The only major problem was there was no hot water in the sink or shower, so me and my fiance couldn't bathe.
