The only issues were that the icemaker on 3rd floor was out of order so we had to use one on 1st floor. Also, in our room (#321), the hair dryer wasn't working. I mentioned it to front desk clerk and she tried to tell me about a button on the side...I am very mechanical and the hair dryer was old and burnt out.

This hotal shows on line that it has a hot tub it does not. It has a heated pool. And it was closed for a private party for the bulk of the time we where there. The staff was very friendly. The biggest down fall for our stay was the noise. Kids where running up and down the halls all hours of the night. We have kids so we are use to the kid noise but both my husband and I made a comment that this is the noisiest place we have ever stayed. As a couple that say in hotels alot for travel. This will be one that we will stay away from

The property lists HOT TUB as an amenity on Expedia. THEY DO NOT HAVE A HOT TUB. When we informed the front desk, she said that she knew about the error in the listing, that the GM had been informed repeatedly, and that he/they "refused to correct issue." The front desk also indicated a "shortage" of coffee and towels for the rooms.

Well... not necessarily the hotels fault..maybe Hotels.com messed up but while traveling and hiking all day our three kids and us were looking forward to relaxing in the pool and especially the hot tub. After searching Hotels.com site and finding a few with hot tubs and pools listed we opted for this hotel only to arrive and find out the pool had some kind of pump broken so it was out of commission and even more frustrating there isn't a hot tub and I don’t think there ever was. I'm not trying to boo hoo over a hot tub and pool but when you book a room specifically because it lists them as amenities it is frustrating... three disappointed kids too. We also overhead the receptionist tell someone on the phone that the same room as ours would be $104 with taxes included... we paid $114. $10 is not a huge deal but we thought that Hotels.com's purpose was to save you money??? Despite the disappointment, the beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was amazing.

The windows had no locks them. Very easy to just climb right in . Talk to front desk clerk about it and he was going tomoved us to another room and checked it before we moved and that window opened up as well. So he moved us up to the second floor. He was very helpful.

Beds were the most uncomfortable thing i ever slept in! Elevator was horrible. Exercise room was a joke. Treadmill was broke and wouldn’t work. Will never stay here again.

The front desk lady was very nice. The floors in the room are really disgusting. The carpet was damp and extremely dirty. A walk from the shower to bed left the bottoms of my feet black. I am not exaggerating. The room had a very overpowering cheap room spray that did not dissipate even after a few hours of keeping the windows open. The beds are average.

Desk clerk Jordan was very friendly and helpful. Carpet inside the room and hallway was very dirty. Did not feel like one could walk around without shoes. Did not like the layout of the bathroom (had to position oneself in the corner on one side of the toilet to close the door). Water pressure in shower and hot water availability was good. Variety of and availability of breakfast items was good. This was the best part of the stay. Overall, the hotel seemed very old and needed to be updated.

The staff was good, and the breakfast bar was as well. The only problem we had was that our room was so damp that even sitting in the armchair made your pants damp. I am not sure if this was just our room or the entire facility.

I was in room 104. It smelled musty and damp. The floor was damp. The service at the front desk was great but I checked in very, very late and did not want to contend with changing rooms. Then by 7 am there were kids running up and down the hallway yelling so much no possibility of sleeping - just left. I stay here a lot but may rethink that in the future.

The lady at the front of the counter was nice during check in and the staff were friendly overall. There was hair on the bedcover of both beds, the pull out couch had food crumbs in the bed portion. The bathroom was pretty small and the shower was beat up, the drain was rusted and pretty nasty. Decided not to use it even after a 9 hour drive. Pretty outdated overall.

We stopped here to sleep midway to our destination. The front desk staff was kind and efficient. The first thing we noticed upon bringing our bags in was the room was very humid. It was 34 degrees outside so it was unusual. There was a dead roach on the curtains and 2 more in the bathroom. Dead roaches means they are addressing the issue. The source of the humidity was a steady run of the bathtub faucet. Not a drip but actual pour and hot water to boot. It couldn't be turned off. It was consistent enough to create a rainforest feel in the room. As cold as it was outside we had the air conditioner on. Seems like an incredible waste of resources for something that should be an easy fix. We were too exhausted to gather everything and switch rooms but I should have. Listening to water run all night made for an uncomfortable sleep. I had no issues with the bed or bedding but my daughter opted to sleep in the chair because the bed was "too firm" like sleeping on a cement slab. They are very firm. Incidentally, we chose this hotel because the description reads it has a hot tub. We thought that'd be nice after a long drive. This property does not have a hot tub.

When we arrived at the property there was a terrible stench that the front desk said was because the air conditioning has been leaking and still needs to be fixed. The toilet took 5 minutes to flush, the comforter was stained, and there was 1 towel for 4 guest check in. The lady at the desk was kind and contacted the manager but they had no other rooms so we cancelled free of charge.

When we arrived at this hotel, a motorcycle group of at least 50 were staying there. They were having a bbq out back and took over the entire pool. Made us feel uncomfortable bringing luggage in. The room felt icky, we didn’t want to walk barefoot. The worst was the AC. It made noise allll night long. That along with a bed that was so uncomfortable we weren’t able to sleep. I am usually fine with most hotel beds, I’m not super picky but this was terrible. The bathroom was separate from the sink and both areas felt tiny and crammed in. The one thing that was good was the shower head and water pressure. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Convenient for business travel in Mt Sterling. Room was on 2nd floor, room 209 and door was within 18 inches of the elevator. Odd placement for a hotel room and didn't feel as safe due to that. There were no issues and everyone was pleasant though.

The bed was comfortable and the check in staff was helpful and friendly. The noise was terrible all through the night. We had room 107 next to a public restroom and the ice machine. People were loud in the hallways late hours and you could here everything. Lots of noise early in the mornings in the hallway as well sounded like carts. Not sure if staff was cleaning, but it was very noisy. The restaurant next door Cattlemens was excellent and handy since it was close. Price was good for what we had.

Front desk person was friendly and check in was quick. Overall, the hotel was a bit rundown, hallway carpets were dirty and in need of replacement. Some windows in lobby were etched white from something. Room was clean but definitely in need of an update. Room was "accessible" however, they used the handicap handrails in the bathroom as towel rods. Bed was way too tall for someone who would need to transfer from a wheelchair. Mattress was a bit uncomfortable; sheets seemed a bit rough to the touch. Access to local business was good.

There is hardly anyone at the front desk when guests are moving through the lobby. The parking lot needs to be maintained better. But the proximity to restaurants is great. It was comfortable and clean in the room. The continental breakfast was OK.

This was a trip to pick up my daughters dog. Good halfway point. Dana who was at front desk was great. Very helpful, excellent customer service. Good room. Pool looked nice, did not use. Dana recommended the Cattlman's Road House which is just behind the hotel. Food was very good. Fried pickels,. Hand breaded chicken strips. The surloin was cooked as ordered.

Just off the interstate 64, stayed here on a visit to Red River Gorge. Very nice hotel, plush bedding and towels, nice shower, no issues at all, plenty gas stations and restaurants close by. Main street area of Mount Sterling is very cute and boutique-y, gorgeous huge houses along the way.

The location was perfect! The free morning breakfast was top notch! Very good. The only issue we had was the room air conditioner. It kept shutting off in the middle of the night and awake us to a warm room. I would recommend this Comfort Inn and Suites.

I got very sick after eating the breakfast. I vomitted up the food and has nausea, head ache and chill for 12 hours. I noticed the breakfast area didnt have much traffice. The milk expired that day (august 23rd). I th8nk it was food from the day before or longer. It was our anniversary trip so we were pretty bummed that I was sick that whole day.

The staff were kind and helpful. Everything was clean. Bedding..rooms..hallways. kitchen area all pretty clean. I booked from Expedia..which had a hot tub as amenity. No hot tub spa at all. The pool was pretty warm and clean. Ty he worst thing..was the breakfast..Horrible.
