Good location, more convenient and cheaper than Austin while attending the F1 GP weekend. The property seems to be preparing for some needed remodeling. Parking was limited by the container units taking up spaces. Rooms were quiet and comfortable.

Very nice stay. Great customer service. Due to the remodeling there were no vending machines available. Convenient to local stores for anything you may need. Overall we would stay again

Although this property is in a good location for shopping, activities and very good restaurants, the property itself is disgusting. The hotel has tons of very bad band aid repairs, with sloppy and improper work. The carpet in the hallways looks like a nasty runway of smelly stains. The carpet in our rooms was horrendous. It was so filthy that just walking from the bed to the bathroom our socks turned black on the bottom. It was sticky and absolutely a petri dish of bacteria. There were dozens of dead cricket carcasses in the bathroom light fixture. The bathroom had many bad repairs and sticky floors. The door looked like it had been chewed up at the bottom and glued together. The curtains had large holes in them and sure weren't light blocking. The refrigerator was a tiny appliancethat didn't cool well at all. The hot tub looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned and disinfected. The pool wasn't much better. I can't even say this hotel was a good value because it was so nasty and filthy. We wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. The ONLY positive aspect is the staff clerk who checked us in. She is a sweetheart. If I could rate this hotel with zero stars, I would.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Pool in the hot tub were amazing. I slept better in these beds than I do at home. The AC was a little noisy and while it didn’t cool as cool as I would like it, it did cool enough to sleep well. There were lots of choices for breakfast.

There were bugs in BOTH rooms that I stayed in and floors have definitely never been cleaned. Hairs in my bed. Big blood on my outlet. The doors/counters were all broken or banged up. Definitely one of my worst experiences

We stayed at the Quality Inn from June 12th to June 15th, and overall, it was definitely a “you get what you pay for” experience. The hot tub wasn’t actually hot—just barely warm and about the same temperature as the pool. There were no pool towels available or even in sight. When we arrived, the sink water had a yellow tint, which we overlooked at first—until we gave our daughter a bath and bits of paper-like material started coming out of the tub. The room itself wasn’t terrible, but it clearly needed some maintenance. The bedding had holes, leftover hair from previous guests, and there were questionable stains on the walls. Breakfast was decent, though the vending machine appeared to be out order.

We were in Bastrop for a funeral. The location of the inn was conveniently close to everywhere we needed to be which was a bonus. The staff were awesome, room was clean - though some areas you can tell were neglected (dust buildup, rust) and the beds were comfy. My only true complaint were the roaches. We saw a huge dead one outside of the room and there was a tiny baby roach in the tub. You know what they say: where you’ll find one roach, you’ll find a ton.

Parking lot lights and lack of blackout curtains meant room was pretty lit up all night making sleep difficult. The smell of the room on entry each day made it obvious the room was recently a smoking room!!

The initial room that we were given was not ideal at all, quite below average. There was a huge spot on the bathroom door where the paint had peeled off. There were multiple carpet stains on carpet in our initial room. The room smelled really odd and the clothes closet smelled extremely stale. The room in general did not smell pleasant. I requested a different room and the staff was happy to oblige. The breakfast was really good and the staff was very helpful and all around great! The hotel asthetically was just okay. The change of rooms, the friendly staff, and the breakfast made up for the unfortunate smell and asthetics of initial room. I give this stay a 3 star accordingly. However, even in our second room, we ended up with ants and beetles on the floor. I think the entire hotel probably needs maintenence.

There were large stains on the carpet in front of the television. The bathroom looked like it had recently been repainted with the wrong type of paint, which was bubbling & falling off of the door & walls. Our toilet would not flush, so we called the front desk & they brought us a plunger. We had to use the plunger every time we flushed the toilet all weekend long. We didn’t realize there wasn’t an elevator available until we got to the hotel. I have a problem with my knee, so the stairs were an inconvenience.

The room was terrible. May have been clean but I tried not to look too hard. The bathroom sink was in the bedroom, the shower was small, like 2x3 ft. Noisy and the area left a lot to be desired.

The service was good at the front desk. The hotel is under construction and there is no carpet in the hallways and the noise from traffic in the hall is very loud. I am sure things will improve once the construction is done.

We had reserved a king bed but when we got into the room it was 2 twin beds. I told the desk that it was wrong and they told me thats all they have. I asked for a refund so I can go to a different hotel. The lady behind the desk rudely said that they wouldnt give me a refund and I would just have to deal with it. We would have been out $175 dollars. I do not recommend this hotel. Dirty, rundown, rude and no elevator.

Thank goodness I pre-paid for the room. We checked in at 7 p.m. and was told they didn't have any rooms available. We had already pre-paid so they gave us a room someone hadn't checked into yet. The desk clerk had to call his manager to find out what to do. While standing there, he told her that there were 4 rooms that were not cleaned... Very unprofessional.

The Staff at the Desk was extremely friendly, efficient and professional. The complimentary breakfast was basic - scrambled eggs, tortillas, biscuits, breakfast sausage, freshly cooked waffles, many cereals to choose from and many drinks, nice ! (hey fresh waffles-how can that possibly be mediocre ? Plus 2 waffle irons Great!!!) Everything was done well, I am very happy with this place and I will stay here again ))
