My stay was extremely comfortable and the interior decorations were charming with a down home Louisiana feel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was exceptional and not enough can be said about the cook. I just wish the outdoor pool was open but it was closed for the season. There is a cool artist market next door.

Disaster! Lobby being demolished dining room under construction. Dirty and dusty. Elevator not working. No receptionist at checkin - had to wait 10 minutes. Oversized couch in room blocks A/C and bed access.

We should have been warned that the property is undergoing renovation and maybe offered a reduced price since there was no access to the pool and floors and carpet in the public areas was dusty. Otherwise I was most impressed with the staff. Very friendly and accommodating. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast provided by Maryann..a woman who obviously takes a lot of pride in what she offers to people and offers hospitality to everyone who enters the breakfast room. It is interesting that the property is just off of a very busy noisy highway; but there was no noise inside so they had done a good job of blocking it. The AC system could use some work..tough to keep at an even temperature.

Comfy bed and clean room, but it was over-scented. When we walked in the scent of some type of perfumed cleaning product was absolutely overwhelming. We are very sensitive to these types of scents and my husband immediately began sneezing. After turning on the fan and opening the window for a bit it was better, but we suggest these type of products NEVER be used in their rooms. It was really bad. Not much at the exit where this hotel is located, but right down the interstate a couple of miles at the Breaux Bridge exit is an authentic crawfish restaurant, Crazy Bout Crawfish. Highly recommend!

Staff was nice. Room was not very clean. Shower curtain had something all over it, wall paper peeling in bathroom, shower curtain rod lose, mattresses were not comfortable and had a damp dingy smell.

Very well managed. Very clean. The most comfortable beds of any hotel we’ve stayed at in quite some time. Excellent staffed. I typically stay in 4-5 star hotels and this little Holiday Inn Express rivaled the Dallas Hilton

This was very conveniently located close to the swamp tour boat that we took. The receptionist was not very friendly. Air conditioning was too noisy. The room was rather dark.

The staff was above and beyond. The lady at the front desk was so helpful. They made cookies but we were going to miss them so she saved us some for when we got back. I dropped a dress and an earring and she returned them to me. She was the best!

Booked on a spur of the moment sports overnight trip and I’m so glad we did. Hotel was clean, beds were comfy, breakfast was great and EVERYONE was super helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

The staff had a new system that no one understood. They scanned my credit card and then advised me that they made a mistake and should not have charged my card for the room because I had paid through Expedia. The second floor was being renovated and there was active painting going on and dry wall dust everywhere. They agreed to give us another room but the toilet wouldn’t flush so we asked for another room but none were available so the next morning we were forced to check out but we could not get a refund! I deserve a full refund

Property was fine, but "aged" which is understandable. Overall, good location for what we needed. Access into and out of the property can be a challenge if you are not familiar with the area already. maybe a sign that states, entrance here might suffice?

It was a nice clean hotel. Rooms were well maintained and nice comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Had good breakfast options. The only discomfort we had was our room was 201, which was at one end of the building and was towards the feeder & I-10 freeway, so we had lot of traffic noise throughout the whole night. This was our only thing we did not like during our stay. Had a quick stopover over here during our drive to Florida.

This hotel was a steal. Very comfortable. Clean. Quiet in the rooms. The pool was excellent. The standard free breakfast was really tasty! An egg white veggie omelette, turkey sausage, biscuits, sausage gravy…. Yum. Friendly staff. Convenient for our swamp boat tour and dinner in Breaux Bridge - rec Sydney Mae cafe. Will stay again.
