Wingate by Wyndham Shreveport Airport

No breakfast. The room urgently needs an update although the staff seemed to keep it clean. The common rooms are shabby. Worst Wyngate I have encountered.

Where do I even start? Horrible service right off the bat of entering this facility. Horrible smells amongst the hallways, elevator didn't work. And here we are on a Sunday morning with no breakfast or coffee all because the "guy" called off. Its supposed to be included. Coffee maker inside the room but no coffee packs. 2nd floor stairwell looks like someone threw up all over it. And don't get me started on the room itself. Stains on the sheets and filthy bathroon. And I also found hair on supposedly clean face towel. This place is a dump and not worth the money. I really can go on and on but think twice before booking here.

There was a lot of people hanging out in the parking lot. I felt unsafe. However, the staff was friendly. I didn’t eat breakfast because there were lots of extra people always just hanging around. I was uncomfortable. Property was old and outdated.

The room that I stayed in was in need of updating. The wall paper in the bathroom was starting to peel away in one of the corners and the tub/shower was very out of date. The bed was comfortable, the pillows... not so much. The breakfast buffet wasn't impressive although the employee who set everything up was very helpful.

My room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke despite this being a non-smoking hotel, which made the space feel unclean. The smoke detector had been removed, which was concerning. Although the room had windows that could open, I wasn’t able to use them because the screen had a large hole. The entryway was not inviting—the door was difficult to open and the threshold was lined with rust. The elevator was very small, and I even saw a roach while waiting for it. When I requested extra face towels, I was told none were available. For an airport hotel, this experience was extremely disappointing.
