Sleep Inn & Suites Shreveport near Medical Center

There is obviously no insulation between floors. The beds are hard! The hot tub was out of commission. Very low water pressure in the shower. After the shower, you're left sticky from the hard water.

Didn’t like the parking with trailers blocking several spaces and then people with open doors loud past 3AM

Room was not particularly clean. Staff was good. Gym equipment was a fail. Food was acceptable. Price was good.

Nice visit to the city as the last leg of our annual summer vacation with the grandkids. They loved the indoor pool, but were a little disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t working-no heat or bubbles. The breakfast and the woman in charge of it were wonderful. We are all a big fan of the grits.

We had to ask for a room change due to mold in the shower along with a colony of bugs living in the shower. The fitness gym should not be listed as an amenity as none of the equipment worked, the neighborhood was far too sketchy to venture outside for a jog either. Pool rules are obsolete as one person helped himself to a case of beer while a woman sat in the hot tub with some kind of post-op medical bag attached to her stomach. Several people were in some sort of medical process and the whole hotel smelled like a hospital but was so dirty it was shocking. I’m assuming the nearby hospital has a deal with recovering patients who need somewhere to stay. We asked if we could keep driving and get a refund but they would not oblige, only changed our room. The new room was certainly cleaner but still 2/10 for cleanliness. I cannot believe this place has such high reviews. We were traveling through and trusted those reviews. What a SHOCK. If you want a $150/night bug infested hotel with dirty towels, sketchy neighborhood, disgusting carpets, moldy bathrooms, & a possible side of MRSA, check it out. I can’t comment on the breakfast as we bounced out asap.

They had the front entrance blocked off for. Construction of front awning. Couldnt find a way in on arrival one day. Coulnt find a way out without walking all the way around the building. Secondly, we went for the hottub as we were staying for a week. It was set too high. We complained the first time we tried to go in. It must have been on 125 or higher. Its not supposed to be warmer than 115. Ive run a pool and spa before. I coulnt even get into it bc it was so hot. We asked them to turn it down,but they didnt.

There was a heated pool and hot tub listed which was part of why we booked the room. Upon arrival, the pool was confirmed. Upon arrival at the pool, it was not heated and the hot tub was not working.

Room was dirty, no shower curtain for the shower, phone didn’t work, elevator was broken and room was on the 4th floor. Would not recommend!

Staff is friendly, hotel is clean, smells amazing! So fresh and clean!

We stayed in room 217. My mother woke up with bed bug bites all over her hand. So gross! She slept in the bed closest to the window.

Check in and out was easy. Room was clean. The only problem was weak water pressure I. The shower.

Nice clean hotel. Very convenient right next to the interstate. The beds were super comfortable (firm) with firm pillows (some hotels’ pillows are just too soft). Free full breakfast was good but the layout could be improved. Also, the water pressure for the bathtub was too low - shower was more of a sprinkle. Overall, it was a good hotel.

The room was nice and large! The telephone did not work and the television did not work. I had to walk down to the desk and she told me what to do to try to fix it! I did what she said and it still didn’t work! Went back to desk and she came upstairs to work on it! It worked for a few minutes and then quit again! She finally told us all she could to was to give us another room which she did! It was smaller than the other room and not as nice but the television worked!

The hotel had very little water pressure which made it hard to take a shower and brush your teeth. It also did not have hot water, it was luke warm at best. My family, along with multiple othet famlies had the same issue. After day 3, it still wasnt corrected.

The property is about average for the price. Low water pressure for showering or flushing the toilet. Nothing is within walking distance except a gas station and a hospital. I would stay somewhere else next visit.

I was not aware that the hotel was by side, active train track. The moving trains were very loud. The hotel room and dining area were nice.

The room was comfortable, cool, and spacious. My only issue is the LOUD trainsoutside our window at 2 AM & 4 AM. I wish we were across the hall, so maybe it would not have been so bad. The breakfast was excellent, but the lack of sleep ruined our stay.

My stay wasn’t too bad. My room was clean and breakfast was good. My only complaint was their WiFi sucks. Overall it was a good stay.

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel. The first night we had no hot water in the shower. When I asked abt it the next day the lady at the front desk (who wasn’t too friendly) said yes, but someone was suppose to check on that yesterday. So they put us in the room without seeing if it was fixed! It did get fixed after I reported it. I have to say everyone else besides this one lady was very friendly.

There is a rail line less than 200' from the hotel and freight trains go roaring past quite often and it is LOUD, particularly if your room is on the backside of the hotel. BTW, the desk chair was broken - in both room that I was in. Ironically, the desk chairs are frequently broken in the hotel rooms, too.

We had to call down to desk 4 to 5 different times. The room next door to us was playing music so load and being really loud. I explained to the desk that we had to get up at 6. The first three times the lady at the front desk said she would try to check it out. We had to threaten to call the cops on the room next door before any thing was done. That was 2 hours later.

My first time staying here. The staff was great! It was clean and comfortable! Even though it’s located right next to the traffic it wasn’t bad.

Room was clean and well appointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel can be a bit difficult to find, but if your GPS is working, you should have no problem.

Front desk lady upon arrival was extremely rude and not very acquired to listening to the guest apparently

Very close to LSUS Medical Center where my Mom had surgery. Staff were wonderful, even when I had to extend my stay, and was ab le to keep my same room same rate,

My only complaint is that I stood at the desk at check in for almost 5 minutes without being acknowledged while the staff was in the next room over (there is a monitor with many camera feeds) talking away on an obvious personal phone call. At check out the same thing occurred but with 2 people playing on their cell phones not noticing I was standing there for several minutes. However, in both situations they were nice and very friendly.

When I booked I did pay at property the Friday morning that I was to leave I woke up to my card trying to be charged the full amount for the room 3 times I keep my card locked so it did not go threw i normally pay cash for rooms later that day they tried again i then called and they asked if i could go ahead and pay it i did then we get there we waited just to be let threw the doors to get to the desk for 30 min till i messaged one of my friends that was staying in another room to come let us in they had already gone ahead and checked into the room for me so i did not have to go to the desk thank god cause there was no one there then Saturday morning at 2am my phone starts going off multiple charges for 25.00 i tried calling did not get threw i then when online where i booked threw they called and asked why they told them it was a hold till we checked out the rep asked them to let me be as i was sleeping and that i would get it taken care of in the morning went down that morning and the rep at the desk knew nothing about it and told me they did not know why okay go on with my day again sunday morning at 2 am it happen again i get up out of bed go to the desk no one is there waited 15 min nothing went back up to my room went back to sleep and checked out the next morning the hotel is nice and very clean but the customer service is not at all i will not book there again due to the mulitple times trying to charge my card

Good price - value relationship, close to Medical Center

Conveniently located close to LSU hospital which helps when you have loved ones there for medical needs. Nice, clean, and courteous service. Would definitely come here again!

I was unhappy with your recommendation and rating on a hotel I stayed in. My car was vandalized along with 8 others. The neighborhood was not in decent area. Why was this recommended and I’m told by the desk because I booked with you all there is nothing they can do. I’m very unsatisfied I paid money and got robbed staying in a hotel I was told was rated high by your site and I don’t understand how this can happen and no one is responsible but me a member?

Nice hotel in a rough area.

We were booked for two nights. After the first night, we woke up to half the cars in the parking lot vandalized...windows busted out. Thank goodness our car was not one of them, but we promptly checked out.

Ist room had bugs in it and was not tidy but was given another room. The breakfast was very skittish, they were out of a lot of breakfast items, no waffle mix, grits, etc

Clean room, oddly small yet great shower, firm mattress, poor breakfast, terrible coffee, nice staff.
