Sleep Inn & Suites Shreveport near Medical Center

1 night stay... Room felt damp... Sheets, floor.... Smelled moldy... Staff was very friendly though!

The best rate was higher than I think it should be. My reservation request was being called in late in the afternoon so it seemed it should be less. Their sister hotel a mile away was suggested for a lower rate but I wasn’t thrilled with the photos. I decided to try Hotels.com and I should’ve known — $35 less for the same room. The elevator was scary, making really unusual sounds. The tv offerings were awful. Satellite? The night desk clerk at check in was fabulous, very polite and friendly. The bed, particularly pillows, was out of this world. Liked the bathroom toiletries. The convenience to the Ochsner LSU Hospital could not be beat. Breakfast was decent, not thrilling.

The elevator didn’t work, it took forever to check in and out. The hotel room was not the cleanest and the fridge didn’t work properly
