Holiday Inn Shreveport Downtown by IHG

FOR THE MONEY I PAID I FEEL I NEED TO WARN OTHERS. 1. THIS HOTEL LOOKS DECENT HOWEVER THERE WERE HOMELESS PEOPLE OUTSIDE 2. I GOT A ROOM WITH DOUBLE BEDS. ONE BED WAS NOT PROPERLY SECURED I SAT DOWN ON THE EDGE OF THE BED TO TAKE OFF MY SHOES AND IT NEARLY FLIPPED ME INTO THE FLOOR, WENT TO USE THE PHONE TO CALL FRONT DESK AND THE PHONE DIDNT WORK EITHER. 3. ICE MACHINE ON FLOOR WASNT WORKING 4. THE TUB WAS GROSS THAT I WENT TO DOLLAR TREE TO BUY COMET SPRAY AND SPRAYED THE SHOWER HEAD AND THERE WAS BROWN GUNK COMING OFF AND THE TUB DRAIN WAS BROWN IT WAS DISGUSTING. 5.THE HALLWAY SMELLED LIKE SOMEONES DIRTY UNDERWEARS AND SOCKS 6. FRONT DESK WAS ON HIS PHONE WHILE WE WERE THERE TRYING TO PAY FOR OUR DRINKS. NEXT DAY THE WOMEN AT THE FRONT DESK DIDNT EVEN GREET YOU OR ANYTHING IT WAS LIKE A STARE DOWN AND A HALF SMILE BREAKFAST U HAD TO PAY FOR PARKING IS A DISASTER ESPECIALLY FOR BIG VEHICLES THE BEST THING WAS THAT THE AC DID WORK GREAT BUT THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER THAT I CHECKED OUT EARLY AND WENT TO STAY AT HORSESHOE CASINO. I DO NO

When I got there I had to change rooms 3 times. In the first room there was a red stain in the sheets. Then was put in another room were the shower was not giving out any pressure for the water, and finally I was put in another room and it was smaller than the room that I originally paid for and to top it all off. The shower didn't have water to start with. Next the toilet paper dispenser was barely hanging on, and it was cramped in the room. I will never go back to that hotel again!

Beds were very comfortable..Customer service was great..

Didn't eat breakfast.but I would most definitely stay again.just to a joint room next to me.. overall it was good

The manager and assistant manager were super helpful and friendly. The cleaning crews worked hard to keep everything clean. The room was spacious, but the carpet was very worn and everything was outdated. The bathroom was in serious need of an upgrade.
