The corridors in this hotel are very cold. There is no elevator to the second floor, so be prepared to lug your bags up the stairs. The evening desk clerk was quite unfriendly and not helpful when we checked in. The morning clerk was much better and more accommodating. While clean, the property is quite shopworn and in need of a makeover. We will not be back.

They saved us when the other hotel failed us. Other than the fact there was no elevator taking us to the second floor I have no complaints. Very friendly staff, quick convenient breakfast, clean and comfortable. Easy access off the highway for a family weekend wedding stay.

The hotel did not have an elevator. The 2nd floor room I was in was far away from the ice bucket on the 1st floor. The breakfast sub par, and the room was old and carpet looked dirty. All n all it was a depressing stay.

The staff were top notch from the desk personnel to the friendly housekeeper. The room was clean and well organized. The location made it easy for us to get around the area which was always conjested. Parking was well layed and the spaces were large. Great for the price.

Property is old and in need of repairs and updating. Bathroom was dirty. The floor and grout were disgusting. Room was not at all as pictured. Travelocity needs to be more diligent in reviewing properties it lists. This property is a 3 on a scale of 10.

This was an okay hotel. Not eco friendly. I wouldn't stay here again for one reason - THE SMELL! The overpowering perfumy smell was awful! The lobby was the worst, but even in the hallway - people have allergies and that would be a real problem for someone. It was chokingly offensive. It stayed in your throat so you could taste it.

Best Western Rockland is a well worn facility, but it is clean and neat. The staff was all first rate — responsive and kind. That matters. This isn't a fancy hotel and isn't priced like one. I needed a convenient, clean, safe, and quiet place to sleep and shower — what most travelers are seeking — and Best Western Rockland filled the bill.

The bedside table had previous guests lingerie and underwear in it, the caulk in the bathtub was starting to turn black, someone else’s pubic hairs on the bathroom floor. Not impressed

This place needs an overhaul. The rooms smell of old smoke and possibly mold! Peeling paint in areas. The staff was wonderful and breakfast was pretty decent but I would not stay here again. The rooms were clean, just smelly.

I wish that they had drapes on the windows so that we could have slept longer if we wanted to. The windows had a thin sheer curtain so when the sun came up it shined right into the room.

Front Desk Staff was fabulous, the place is in need of some updating but still good, location is fabulous, very convenient, close to the 3 expressway, breakfast was good, housekeeping was a bit of a negative for service, and we will probably return again next year.

Great service. Beatriz at the front desk very helpfully got my dad an accessible first-floor room so he didn’t have to climb stairs. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast had fresh fruit.

Close to the subway leading to Boston, without the hassle of parking in Boston. Nice town, but limited shopping facilities. Quiet, though, and easy access to main highways. Very convenient to get to Cape Cod. We stayed five nights, and it was too bad that our room was not served one day. That was unfortunate, but the reception staff were very kind, courteous and helpful. We would go back!

The room that we stayed in (141) was very outdated. The carpets were very worn. Also the sink was very slow draining, and the shower leaked. There were patches on the bathtub, I assume to cover leaks. When we arrived to have breakfast at 9:10, the hot food was gone and the attendant seemed put out to bring out more. Other people arrived for breakfast after us to find the same. Breakfast was not scheduled to end until 9:30. I have stayed a several other Best Western properties in the past and have had great experiences which is why I chose this property, however, I will not be staying at this site again.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We booked this hotel last minute since we were going to be in this area. Upon arrival, it was an easy check in. Room was easy to find and was very clean. Air conditioner worked well and bed was comfy. It's an older hotel, but it's well maintained. Breakfast was also great. We will definitely stay again.

Front desk staff at check in was unwelcoming. Entire facility is outdated and in poor condition. Not necessarily dirty, but not crisp and clean. Air freshener smells like a gas station bathroom. Breakfast consisted of a few bagels and pastries that based on their packaging appeared to be from Costco.

We had a leaking pipe in the wash basin in the room. We have received a BW git card from the manage as compenastion. The breakfast sandwiches were of poor quality and the breakfast area had no microwave.

Room was clean and staff friendly. Large fridge and coffee maker. Walls a little thin but slept fine. Breakfast was okay….Jimmy Dean breakfast biscuits. Just wanted water and yogurt; neither offered. Only complaint is that room was heavily fragranced. Not sure if this is standard practice or to cover up odors but I tend to be a bit scent sensitive and it gave me a headache.
