When we arrived the room wasn't ready. The desk staff were very pleasant. While waiting for the room had to request a key to use the main floor bathroom, which was badly worn and resembles an old style gas station bathroom. The room was ready and very clean but worn out. There were no towel bars in the bathroom and the TV didn't work. The maintenance man never showed up for the TV. The breakfast room at 7:30 am Sunday wasn't open. There wasn't even coffee available. The room was clean and the front desk staff were all fine, but this hotel fails when it comes to all the typical amenities.

Dirty room. Bloody handprint on lampshade. Brown body fluids soaked into mattress. We pulled off the highway and were looking for a nice clean place to stay. Reviews weren’t bad. We got in about 9pm, exhausted, and gave the room a quick glance. Newish furniture, looks ok, so we freshened up and went to sleep. That’s when we began to notice things. The toilet that kept its water on way too long when we arrived overflowed in the middle of the night. There are bloodstains on the lampshade and mattress. The mattress seems like it was from the Reagan administration, and had a pillow topper and one sheet over the bloodstains. Ants all over the place. The chair next to the new furniture has its upholstery all ripped off in places. We woke up on limited sleep and got the hell out of there. Didn’t even eat the breakfast because why would I eat anything from that same place?
