Stayed in the suite which was clean and spacious. The breakfast was top notch although the 2nd floor where the breakfast was served was not air conditioned? Parking was 20 for the day or 35 overnight. The lot right behind the hotel was public parking for 22 overnight. Very convenient location to Bethesda Metro stop.

I stayed at the Residence Inn for business and the staff were friendly and nice. The gym was good and made me feel like I was able to get just a good of workout as I would back home.

Nice property and convenient to dining and shopping. They only have valet parking but we didn’t have to wait long for our car. Free coffee in am which I like even if I’m paying for it.

We had an all too short stay at the Marriott Residence Inn in downtown Bethesda, Maryland. Our room was huge, great mattress, spotlessly clean kitchenette and bathroom. The hallways smelled so fresh and inviting not at all stale and uninviting like many hotels. Staff was professional and pleasant. And the price was reasonable! Would I recommend this place? Absolutely!

The Marriott is notoriously known for "horrible lighting"!!! Two small lights on each side of the bed, no overhead light,no magnifying mirror in the bathroom, terrible light there too! Our room was against another building so hardly any sunlight to help the situation! As a woman who uses make-up, how are you suppose to prepare for an event? Not good enough....

Our rooms A/c wasn’t working. Maintenance came to ‘fix’ it. Cooled down to about 75. Had thermostat set at 70 and it ran all night but wouldn’t cool down. Told the front desk in the morning and she just said sorry. Very uncomfortable sleeping with the 2 kids who were hot all night so didn’t sleep past 5am.

They've redone the hallways, although the rooms are somewhat still dated. They were more than adequate. Restocking of essentials was not complete including coffee. Front desk, very friendly and accommodating.

The location is great for getting public transportation (bus and metro) and there is a lot of shopping and restaurants in the area (walking distance). I liked having the countertop sink area to put toiletries on and appreciated the closet bar was not too high (I am quite short). Apparently they are about to do renovations which are really needed - tje place needs a refresh. Appreciated the on site laundry facility at a pretty reasonable prices.

I had a great stay at this hotel — the location is excellent, just steps from Bethesda Row with a wide variety of restaurants, shops, and cafes. It’s also only minutes from the Bethesda Metro Station, making it very convenient for getting around. There’s a beautiful nearby trail perfect for running, walking, or biking. The hotel offers a free breakfast with plenty of excellent choices, which was a great way to start the day. The 24-hour fitness center is a nice amenity, though I was a bit disappointed to learn that the pool is no longer available — something to keep in mind if that’s important to you.

The hotel was pretty clean. The location was great. Able to walk to many restaurants. The hotel itself was just kind of blah. I should have researched more, but it was nothing to it. No nice lobby or restaurant for drinks and room service. It did have a nice breakfast that was included though. Other then location, the breakfast was the best part. Also, hotel parking was pretty expensive, so we paid for a much more affordable parking garage on walking distance to the hotel.

Expedia needs to do a better job describing the cost of parking and WiFi at their hotels. The parking was $30/day and the WiFi as 4.95/day per device. The place itself was very nice and so was the hot breakfast…… which is also described as continental on Expedias site.
