The room looks NOTHING like this picture! The floor was dirty. The beds very uncomfortable. Water leak from wround toilet bowl - reported to office - they said maintenance gone for day will fix tomorrow , IT never got fixed- I left 2 days early- got tired moping up water. The stay was very disappointing. We chose this hotel because it was advertised as providing a warm breakfast and free parking. This was definitely falsely advertised on this site. First off, there is/was no breakfast offered, we booked a room with a king sized bed and there weren’t king sized beds. We were told we were going to be given two queen beds instead. My husband and I were given 2 full sized beds. The bathroom was rusty, towels poor quality, no iron or bed, poorly constructed locks, and the bedding that gave me an allergic reaction. The pictures online are a false representation of the actual hotel. The biggest complaint was the loud parking lot exchange between a guest and few people in the parking lot from 12 am- 1:30 am. Loud voices and music all night long. No one from management intervened. Will never stay at this establishment again.

The hotel was nothing at all as posted. There was no breakfast. Some of the people staying I believe actually live there. There was arguing that was heard through the walls all night long. Hotel.com should update there sight to reflect what this hotel actually looks like and offers.

They informed us they no longer offer a refrigerator or microwave upon request. When arriving the first room didn’t have a door knob on the door, no shower curtain. They said they didn’t have housekeeping so they moved us. The next room we were in didn’t have hot water for the shower at all. It was cold water. The bathroom light would go off and on when it wanted to by itself. They also said we had to get ice from the gas station because their ice machine is broken. Basically if you want to stay here then bring your own amenities and enjoy your cold shower.

This was close to the worst hotel ive ever stayed at . As dirty as it gets . No refrigerator, iron or hair dryer. No microwave and no working ice machine on the property . They are working on the property so maybe some of this might improve but I doubt it .

I've never stayed in such a "no frills" place - the room was clean but it was so barebones; there was no mirror or garbage can even except what was in the bathroom.... the ice machine didn't work. It was convenient to the metro and fairly inexpensive so it did the job but I would not stay there again

We were greeted by the lady at the desk but she was having a conversation on her phone while checking us in. Extremely unprofessional. We walked into the room and my friends bed had a stain on the comforter and he had to continually wipe off debris on his sheets. The bed frames creaked every time I rolled over. The foot towel for when you step out of the shower had a black stain on it. The bathroom door was bowing out at the hinges. Multiple channels were "frozen" and we could not access them. Overall this room was disgusting and I would never chose to go back.

I woke up to cockroaches in the restroom at 1AM. I immediately booked another hotel and did not finish the night there. My original decision to try to save money by booking a cheap motel turned out to be quite expensive

This place is ghetto af. A homeless lady came to our door in the morning asking for our towels. There was some dude screaming a foreign language on the sidewalk for a hour to himself. Room wasn’t very clean, needed a new paint job and smelled like smoke. Mattresses were not nice. Pillows were weirdly small, like throw pillows. The staff were cool. They let us cancel the rest of our stay after the first night with no problem. Parking was free and convenient. If you’re stuck, broke, or have a high ghetto tolerance you may be ok with it.

As s0on as we walked in the room, there was, what looked like, a urine stain on the floor. There was light showing between the closed and frame, the bolt lock was a little hinky, you had to play with it.

I got locked out of my room. The lock stopped working and they could not open it. They gave me another room and brought my stuff over after a few hours after the locksmith came. Should not happen but they took care of me.

The room was extremely small. I was quoted a King bed and was given a twin mattress! The sink was clogged. The floor was absolutely filthy with food and some unknown substances on the floor. No microwave or fridge. The door lock didn’t work properly. No WIFI, no cable TV. The only thing that was decent was the water pressure.

The shower only had hot water , then it started leaking through the wall . I told the office 3 times . She said she was going to send maintenance, nobody came . I used 12 towels to slow the water up through out the night so the room wouldn’t flood . Ponding water in the bathrooms .

I booked this room for my husband and daughter last minute but paid in full before they arrived because she moved to DC. They had to change rooms twice due to rooms not clean or broken security latches. Staff was nice to them but the appearance and conditions of the rooms was not up to our standards. Will be the 1st and last stay.

Very rude and unprofessional staff. There was no microwave or mini refrigerator in the room as described on the website. Not even an Ice machine on the property. No pillows just cushions to use as pillows. No house keeping. Requested the towels for the next day use, got only 2 small towels. WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO STAY. No toiletries , just a bar of soap for washing and bathing. AWEFUL. Please DO NOT trust their website description as it is just misguiding and false. VERY DISAPPOINTED with the money we spent and had to spend 2 nights in misery. Would advise to stay away from this property. Also they operate the business in the same building under 2 different names, Travel Lodge and Days Inn by Wyndham. Shame on Wyndham Group to be the part of this property. Very disgusting.

I did not get the room because the hotel (Days Inn) was sold out when I got there. The hotel should not accept the reservation when their room was not availabe. And now I tried to get refund my money from the Hotel.com or the Days Inn ?

I got locked out of my room. The lock stopped working and they could not open it. They gave me another room and brought my stuff over after a few hours after the locksmith came. Should not happen but they took care of me.

Not too bad to get to via public transportation. Non smoking room smelled very badly of smoke. Just a tiny bar of soap - no shampoo or hairdryer or anything. The people working there were really nice tho. And it was cheap hotel.

The pictures of their property are not accurate and misleading. I thought I was booking a hotel room, only to drive hours to find out it was a motel. Very disappointing and checked out 3 days early. The area did not feel safe. There were a lot of people just walking in and out of the motel parking lot. At night, our neighbors were slamming their door, people in the parking lot talking and playing music.

For the first time in many years of traveling across the country this one was definitely the worst place. Property seems to be very old, low maintenance and rooms smell very bad (had to change room due to cigarettes smell but the other room smelled even worse) Anyway I stayed one night. Coffee wasn’t available in the morning in the lobby.

Not impressed, would never stay here again. I guess I got what I paid for only $75/night. No refrigerator, microwave, not even an ice machine at this hotel. They didn't even provide the little bottles of shampoo. It meets the minimum of not having bed bugs and my car was not broke into during my 7 day stay.

I would have given this place negative star or zero if possible. this motel is located in a very ghetto area of DC, not many places to find food around. about the motel itself, very poorly managed, carpet was dirty just by the look, it smelled like vomit and alcohol. power outlets, especially ones by the bed side had loose covers and I easily could have electrocute myself if I wasn't careful. everything was at the lowest minimum possible. no shampoo just a tiny soap bar. not a thick blanket but a very thin (summer type) luckily my heat was working. even though it wasnt cold night but running it all night at 80 degree just made room comfy enough and I'm not easy to get cold. rooms look horrible from outside, like jail cells. wifi was dragging, no breakfast. even coffee that they were supposed to provide at front desk was not ready. I was so horrified by how this room looked and smelled that i actually looked for other places but somehow due to current busy nights at DC there was no other room available. short story, even if this place gives me $500 a night, I would not stay there. VERY BAD place

The room didn't resemble any of the online photos. It looked like it hadn't been upgraded for some time. There was no restaurant available or any continental breakfast. The room key didn't work very well. The television didn't have very good reception and very few channels.

This has got to be the worse hotel we have ever seen. First, we both have mobility issues, but this hotel did not have an elevator in order to get to the second floor. The only other option was a first floor smoking room. When we got in the room, the smoke was unbearable. I am a former smoker and it even bothered me. There was no refrigerator to be able to keep medication cool nor did it have a microwave. The room was just nasty. It was so bad that we immediately booked ourself into another hotel and left this one. The staff did not seem to be too interested in making anything right so we just left with no refund, apology or anything. I not only will never book into a Days Inn again, I am second guessing my use of Hotels.com for future bookings if this is the type of hotel you promote on your site. Very disappointing.
