Parking is limited and if you have a larger vehicle you will have to park at the public parking down the street or on the street. The height limit is 5’8” and larger SUVs don’t fit in the under ground parking area. Other than parking hotel was good.

The hotel and staff itself were very nice. The only thing I really did not care for was the garage. Dark with low ceilings and not a safe feeling. To exit garage system was a pain also. Otherwise Hotel was great.

Lady did not have her name badge on when checking us in. Vent in suite 1204 in the bathroom is crusted with dust and dirt. Pool was green, and the parking garage cannot accommodate larger vehicles. Place was not worth the money we spent. Also, sleeper sofa couch did not open up in the back bedroom. Air conditioner in front room is ridiculously loud when running, couldn't sleep.

Elevator upgrade definitely made for a loooooong wait at times. And the one elevator had to have the door manually “squeezed” shut as it wouldn’t close on its own. But overall the hotel was well kept and clean and the staff was friendly.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and we even checked for bedbugs. We found that the mattress was zipped up into a mattress protector, another mattress protector and then the sheets. Very impressed with how far they go to keep the visitors protected. We would definitely stay here again.

Great staff. Great location. But the cleanliness of the room was not what I would expect from Hilton. Our bathroom was consistently covered in hair. First morning there had the bathroom redone. Still hair all over it. Next day. Worse. Third day… worse. Second last day the housekeeper was switched and it was great… but we were leaving the next morning. I spent 5 days trying to navigate the bathroom feeling that it was unclean. Wore flip flops from the moment I would walk in until I walked out because I did not want my feet on the floor at all. Would have been a near perfect experience but we were totally put off by the cleanliness in the bathroom. Would I go back? I’m not sure I would. It was the sore spot of the entire weekend.

Great hotel, I’ve stayed here in the past and it’s always been better than the other hotel options in the area. The “hotel silver spring” which is around the corner was an absolute nightmare last time we came to silver spring. The only issues with the Doubletree Silver Spring was the bed was bowed in the middle, making it uncomfortable to sleep in, and there was a roach near the door when we were exiting. Beyond that, the hotel was okay. Parking is 25$ over night. No valet. Park yourself. I like this. Also the other hotels in the area are not as safe. This area is clean and recently renovated, public Parking deck next door. Concert venue th Fillmore is right behind the hotel which is why we stayed here. One block walk after the show. Thanks

They have amazing room house keeping service. I did not like the fact that they didn’t have a microwave in the room nor on the floor. Residents had to go all the way down to the lobby each time they had to warm their food. The only microwave they had was already dirty because they didn’t have paper towels next to it for convenience.

I can’t say enough nice things about the front desk receptionist. I needed a phone charger and she gave me terrific directions. The area is lovely and I felt very safe. When I returned, I was greeted with a big smile and she asked me about my shopping experience. Being away from home and working, her comments were just a nice touch and made me feel like a special guest. Also, hundreds of kids on their DC class trip and the hotel did an excellent job of handling the masses. The bartenders were also terrific and the corn chowder was delicious. I plan to return in July for a Whote House tour and will be staying there with my family. Super clean too and quiet.

The hotel itself is beautiful, and it's in close proximity to D.C. However, the staff that I encountered was passive aggressive and not helpful. When the printer wasn't working, I asked the staff if they could kindly print somrthing (they did). And then I asked if they could delete the info I sent because it contained personal ticket information. The person at the front desk at the time, Lisa, said something snarky like, "I mean, I'm here; it's not like I'm going to go." And that was just one of a few passive aggressive things she said. If you're working in customer service, don't be so nasty.

The Doubletree Hotel wasn't just a getaway stay; it was an experience. It felt as if I were on a resort island in the heart of D.C., right in the heart of Silver Spring, Maryland. The staff and management were extremely cordial, professional, and gracious. They provided me with topnotch accommodations ~ including a complimentary early check-in. The building's infrastructure has a sleek interior design, ambiance ~ coupled with an exceptional visual esthetic and appeal. It made for such a pleasant atmosphere throughout my visit. As to the suite's comfortability and cleanliness, this hotel's space couldn't have been more appealing! It was quite cozy and the city views capturing a clear shot of the Mormon Temple were truly spectacular... Conveniently situated in a prime location, I would highly recommend one patronize this flagship model hotel.

I arrived at 3:45pm. I approached the front desk and the staff told me to please wait. I waited but the staff just looked at me so I assume they were ready to assist me. Then a staff member reiterated to please wait since there is a staff change and that check in was not until 4 pm. I let them know the website states check in is at 3. The two staff members sternly stated that the website is wrong. They then proceeded to ask me if I have a care and I responded, yes. They then stated that Expedia reflects the price to be $10/ night but it really is $20/night. The over all check in process was not friendly. I cant believe I used one key dollars on this stay when the experience was not great. This was my first date night with my husband in almost a year and the staff here were not kind.

The hotel is perfectly decent, but my experience with a front desk staff member left me so disgusted. I went to the lobby store to buy a few things a few times and both times she was muttering under her breath saying terribly mean things about me and then when I’d ask her what she was saying she would say something random like “the weather is windy” or just “nothing”. When she did speak to me she gave me so much attitude. I was already going through a lot and am in the area unexpectedly for sad reasons and I haven’t slept in days, and those interactions really hurt me. It was embarrassing for me because it was happening in front of other people, but it was just so mean. I was very upset and it totally ruined my stay. I just needed a place to gather myself and recoup and rest and it was the opposite of that

We went to stay in D.C. overnight and Doubletree by Hilton was the least expensive and close to the Metro. The hotel was clean and the rooms were perfect for us. The staff was so incredibly friendly. Every single person we spoke to was kind and helpful. I'd definitely stay there again!!

Check-in/out was easy! The hotel is beautiful on the inside. Parking lot is located by the hotel. I paid while making the reservation, however I had to pay a $200 incidental fee when I arrived. While I know that hotels usually charge deposits and such, I didn’t see the incidental fee when making the booking so I assumed it was included in the total price. Luckily it’s returned when you check out, so I wasn’t upset. The parking is also $24 a night, which they take from the deposit. The room was amazing and the tv was a great size!! None of those mini tvs that I can’t stand in some hotels. They have a restaurant in the hotel. I paid $96 between my husband and I, yet we only ordered one food item each and two drinks. Pricey! And this was during their “happy hour” haha. Overall, it was still an amazing stay and I would book again!

The hotel/room was nice and clean. Check in was fast and easy- the warm welcome cookies were a nice touch. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant. We had ala cart, so I can’t comment on the buffet options but what we had was fresh and delicious. I loved that parking was only $20/night compared to DC hotels which are usually twice the price. The location was within walking distance of shops and restaurants, and the Fillmore. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was a comfortable size, bed and pillows were excellent. Bathroom was narrow but acceptable. Parking was horrific. $26.00 is unreasonable. There was no signage to indicate where to drive into before you checked into the hotel. There was no signage to tell you what to do when you returned to the hotel late, after the main parking entrance closed. Just plain annoying. The hotel itself was fine and the room rate, for today's world, was reaonable.

The staff was lovely. We enjoyed a few laughs together. The facility was nice and the restaurant was welcome. However, there was no waste basket in the bathroom and a leak in the bathroom faucet attachment. Annoying to deal with this on a busy family gathering weekend. For the latter, I wrapped a wash cloth around the faucet bottom which saved us from a mess.
