The Parking Situation needs Mass Improvement.Parking Should Be Handled At Check In.Not Getting Up In The Morning And Hoping To Get A Spot.And The Air Conditioner / Heating Unit Was Too Close To the Bed In Room 308.But The Staff Was Completely Helpful And Courteous.In Fact They Helped Us Retrieve A Luggage Bag That Was Left Behind.Thank You Again To The Staff.

I picked this hotel for the parking on site. There were no spots for my car.

Lots of shopping dining options nearby. Hotel breakfast was 'excellent', although seating space was limited. Hotel charges $20 for parking, however you could pay maximum of $15 on next door parking (even free parking on weekend). Rooms were clean, space was ok for couple of nights stay with young kids.

They charge 20 for parking. They only send a notification about additional parking fees after you book and pay.

Many broken items: room safe, key locks, coffee machine and pancake maker. The staff was friendly enough and rooma were clean, but lacked knowledge about the surrounding area including public parking. Parking on the facility was booked up and the staff couldn't give you exact details abut public parking next door

Advertised that free parking is available. There is free parking, but it is limited. Once their "free spaces" are full, you are directed to Street parking or the public parking garage. There is a public parking garage nearby with free parking between 10 PM and 7 AM.

The personnel were kind and helpful, including the desk, the cleaning service, as well as the breakfast buffet personnel. The elevator was slow and did not operate well.is my only complaint.

Overall we were happy with our stay. It is very noisy at night both inside and outside of the hotel. We also had to pay $20/ per night to park which I feel should be included with your stay.

If I could give this place ZERO STARS, I would! I don’t even know where to begin but I want to start by saying DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! STAY AWAY! There’s a reason why they are 2 stars. 1. They have a MAJOR PEST control problem: I found SEVERAL ROACHES and BED BUGS in my room and in the hallways! I don’t even know how many roaches I killed, and did not realize there were bed bugs until my last night. The housekeeper during my stay was very nice and not at all surprised about the Pest issues. There were also so many flies at that hotel. I added photos of the roaches I killed. 2. During breakfast, a guest THREW UP (yes, vomitted) ALL over the breakfast bar. Then nonchalantly wiped his mouth with his hands and continued to grab juice. This happened right in front of a hotel staff member. When I went up to the hotel staff member to alert of the situation, she reacted like she did not care and did not want to be bothered, even though she witnessed the entire thing. In a situation like this, disinfecting and ending the breakfast service IMMEDIATELY is the first thing to do because this is a major health hazard and the area becomes a biohazard. They did not react immediately and breakfast services continued as normal. 3. Rude staff member with micro-aggressive tone. She was unnecessary rude solely because I was standing near the entrance. There were many reasons but these were the major 3.

Found a bedbug in our room an hour after checking in. Staff was helpful and didn’t question our demanding a refund and changing hotels immediately.

The young man working at the desk was polite and accommodating. It did not make me feel great when he had to call housekeeping to see what rooms were available. Also, there was a very strong smell of pot in the hallway -- not great. The room was clean and quiet but the pervasive pot smell is a bit of a deal killer.

Cheap and conveniently located. Walkable with shops, restaurants, and a red line WMATA stop nearby. Room looked worse for wear, wallpaper damaged, bottom of doors chipped, etc. Water never got above lukewarm during the weekends. One day room service tried to enter even though we had the do not disturb sign on the handle.

Great location, clean room,comfortabl bed, and friendly staff. The only downside was the heating system, which was a bit loud. Aside from that, we had a wonderful stay.

I've stayed here a few times in the past and was alway okay with the shortcomings in exchange for price and convenience but not after this last stay. The staff put us on a very busy floor. The walls, doors, and ceilings are thin to begin with and the noise from the busy hallway with the shouting and door banging, and then the thumping and banging from neighboring rooms was too much. After night one we tried to switch rooms but the front desk fumbled around searching for an alternate and we finally decided to stay where we were. Night two wasn't too bad, but night three was similar to night one. In addition, Marijuana smoke wafted into the room on a couple of occasions, morning and evening.

Bathroom door would not close. The shower stopper was broken. The air conditioning was not working properly. However, the staff was very nice and helpful.

The heating system was terrible. It continually cycled on and off. Impossible to get the room cool enough to sleep. The phone didn't work nor did the safe.

Property is outdated. Noise from street and people hanging out made it difficult to sleep. Charges for parking.

The room was small and bathroom very tight. No sink counter space. Front desk was more focused on charging for incidentals than it was in providing service

He always did it with a smile and answered the thanks with "It's my job to take care of you". He wasn't the only one who provided good service, but he certainly bend over backwards. So THANK YOU team. For anyone with poor service experience, the longer I am alive, the more certain I am that the customer service you receive is reflective of how you treat other people. The room we stayed in was clearly renovated recently, especially the bathroom. The room was small, but we were going there to crash after whole days of walking around the city. It was comfortable and quiet enough. The hallways were the most "run down" in the hotel, but what do you expect with hundreds of people walking through there. The breakfast was very sufficient and had lots of options. No complaints there! We didn't park, so cannot comment on that. It is about a 12-15 walk from the Silver Springs Metro station. It is an easy walk, one small hill, and I felt totally safe every time. Do stay away from the 7-11 next door. We went there to pick up some sodas. It was terrifying. Just...don't walk past the hotel. The hotel sells drinks and whatnot if you want it.

Very friendly staff and convenient to public transportation. Clean room and good standard breakfast.

I drove my personal vehicle to the hotel. The manager on duty was very helpful. He advised me to park at a meter which was visible from the front desk, where they could see it, and hotel security could keep an eye on it. I paid for the first 2 hours. then the meter was free from 10pm until 9am. Very hel

We checked in at 01:00 AM on 3rd of June, and front desk called police in the same morning, because we couldn't come down in early morning to pay. We were kicked out from hotel and she (receptionist) didn't even give us back the money she cut from the bank account (716$ for 3 night stay). This was the worst experience I've ever had in more than 20 countries. Even police officers couldn't believe how aggressive was receptionist and they suggested us to complain and get her fired.

I have been requesting a receipt for my stay so I can expense it for my job. No one has been able to send this to me.

The staff were friendly and very professional. While the room we had was a little small for two adults, it had everything we needed. Breakfast included more variety than most reasonably priced hotel I have stayed at. Parking was a bit cumbersome but the parking deck right behind the hotel was well lit and not too expensive. This hotel is right in the middle of busy downtown Silver Springs MD.

I first came for the Cinnabons, I returned because of the people! The staff is magnificent! Kind. Quick. Professional. The location is great - just outside the "hustle" of a shopping area. And parking is reasonable.

The staff was very rude and extreamly slow. The AC unit did not work. We informed the staff and were told that nothing could be done. The guy then proceeded to inform me that he was on break and would not help us. The room was uncomfortably hot. When I tried to open a window, I saw a drug deal happen with a homeless person across the street. Parking was also an issue on the property. We were very dissatisfied with the entire experience and would never recommend the property to anyone.

Wonderfully located, easy walk to the train station to take you right into the heart of DC. Within a 10 minute walk, downtown Silver Springs offers plenty of shopping and dining options. Attentive management and staff.

Our king room was compact and cozy. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. While it was a little higher price than we usually go for, the amenities and location made it well worth it. Internet was fast and the bed was great. We parked in the garage next door for about $9 (in by 6 PM, out by 10 AM) and it felt safe. There is a Colombian restaurant/bakery a couple blocks south which is fantastic.

Location convenient is the only thing going for it. But area is sketchy. Not enough onsite parking, misleading advertising forced to use public parking around the corner with guys sitting outside rolling a blunt! Not recommended option if you get other options

Nice hotel in Silver Spring, MD. A bit of a walk to the Metro but decent restaurants nearby. Good breakfast buffet, clean room. Staff was polite and helpful.

We stayed in silver springs to go to dc. This was an easy walk to the metro, bus & am track station. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly & informative. Breakfast was also very good. Would definitely stay again.

Carpets in the hallway looked dirty. The area around the property had many homeless individuals. There is a 7-11 nearby and a Target several blocks from there.

It was very quiet, clean, and staff were great. The area at night was a little scary. We did walk to breweries and pubs for dinner and then uber home.

This is a great property. Clean. Comfortable. Staff is courteous and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. So many options. And nightly cookies were yummy. My only issue is that parking is $20. I used their lot one night, but secured street parking on my next visit, which was sort of inconvenient because you had to feed the meter at 9 am.

The property is older but it was very clean and the staff were great! The metro was about a 10 to 15 min walk. The surrounding area was not spectacular and was a little noisy but the hotel waa good. The breaskfast was surprisingly very good as well! Easy parking though not free throughout the week, just on the weekends. Would highly recommend

Very limited parking. The breakfast food and service was very poor quality. Hot food was cold which is a serious food safety issue. Brought to attention of attendants they suggested using microwave to warm them up. Front desk clerk was worthless took no action to help remedy the problem just said you need to talk to manager who was unavailable. Noise issue which we called on several times with no resolution.

Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay. I think they were a bit short-staffed during the holiday, but other than that, very professional and pleasant. Breakfast was subpar. Area it is in is a bit sketchy, but that's not their fault. Obviously an older facility, but recently renovated and well maintained. Good value for the price.

Everything was wonderful, the hotel was clean, bed very comfortable. The breakfast was nice. Hotel parking does cost but we were given information for alternative parking and it worked out perfect. I am grateful that the clerk upon check-in was gracious in sharing that info with us. We would definitely stay there again, it was easy to get to from our family that we were visiting in DC and close.

We book this hotel every year for the weekend. It’s clean, comfortable, with a lot of great places super close. The metro station is right up the road for us to go back and forth to the DC convention center. Parking is easy with garages available, one directly behind the hotel with no cost after 10pm or on Sunday, We usually have no complaints but this year was a little off. I was surprised about the extra $100 deposit on our hotel rate that will be refunded after 7-10 days. The hotel was already $80 more than last year without this additional fee. Our room seemed to not be ready and we checked in around 930pm. While the hotel desk attendant was very courteous and friendly to interact with, he left me awkwardly at the counter to go check on our room for several minutes. The room was clean with lots of towels and pillows. I love having a coffee machine and refrigerator/freezer which I use every time I come. The complimentary breakfast is always a top reason we come to this Silver Spring hotel to travel into DC. We were disappointed this year. Though their were plenty of great options to choose from, the pancake machine was out of service, the juice in the machine was watered down, the food was room temp some rather cold and the attendant didn’t refill the food right away like years before so we had to wait a long time for eggs. Sunday, we came down for breakfast around 9 and when we went back to our room to pack up, our keycard was no longer active and we couldn’t get in.
