Overall the stay was enjoyable. It is "fairly" close to the Metro, but their shuttle does not have very long hours, so we had to walk to the Metro several times and had to drag our suitcases with us when we arrived. Their included continental breakfast was ok - the last day everything was warm. The other days barely warm and they ran out of items before the breakfast time was over. The bathtub faucet in the room was very hard to turn on and off, and the water pressure in the sink faucet was low. The sleeper sofa in the room was not very comfortable. On the bright side, it was clean and all of the employees were friendly and helpful. I would not mind staying again some other time.

There was no hot water, barley warm at best. Both entrance and back door keypad was not working. Just walk right on in 24/7. many other things, but not good. Had to check out early due to the multiple problems.

Good free breakfast items. Clean, but the room is a little cramped for my double-bed room. Bathroom is large and in good condition. The power outlet on the base of the lamp on the nightstand next to the bed is too loose inside that it does not connect well with my charger. 5th floor ice machine under repair. Same for 4th and 3rd floors. Overall, it was a good stay.

This hotel was wonderful! Preston, at the front desk, was very attentive. The shuttle to take us to the metro and pick us up was convenient, accommodating, and timely. The breakfast was outstanding! Teresa was on top of the food and was so helpful and informative. I would come back here in a heartbeat!

Place was run down and dirty. Third floor hallway stunk. Rooms were really small and every day we had to ask for room towels and pool towels. Shower curtain rod was broken so the curtain was hard to keep shut. The room door had to be slammed to latch. The back door was never locked and the keycard pad was broken. The pool entrances were hard to figure out and broken.

We left after our event! The duvet on both beds were torn with small rips on them. The beds were supposed to be queen size, but they appeared to be standard. THE CARPET WAS DISGUSTING! The only positive about the room was the bathroom! The shower pressure was amazing, just don’t walk on the carpet with bare feet!

1.The exterior of the building was very clean. 2.Parking was not an issue at all during my stay. 3.The lobby area was extremely clean and sanitized. 4.There was a sour smell in the hall on my way to my room. 5.My room was humid on one side and cooler on the other side. 6.There was mold in the air conditioning unit, which would make sense because the room was humid. 7.The bathroom smelled like bleach so I was under the impression it was cleaned well. 8.The beds were comfortable. 9.I did not take advantage of their complimentary breakfast. 10.Traveling around the area was very easy and everything was within a 10 minute distance.

So to begin this was the nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I’m not from the area so we traveled from New Jersey to get to this hotel for a concert event. To warn anyone this was room 302! To start with the laundry list of issues room was super small for the price, the door handle to the room was literally loose , the rooms toilet hardly flushed, the shower was cold the entire time we were there, the fridge didn’t become cold till the second day we were there, the tv was unusable due to it have a ton of lines in the screen, all of the outlets in the room are a definite fire hazard as well as being loose, the WiFi in this hotel was absolutely unusable, there were stains on the walls. All that is on top of the staff being beyond rude and claimed my complaints were essentially void because I had just gotten there. When I brought up the issues they did 1 single attempt of looking in the room one one of us in the room was currently naked and getting out of the icebox shower. Then seemingly got upset because I turned them away for obvious reasons. Long story short if you want to disrespected and ignored in a disgusting setting this is the hotel for you.

Cigarette and blunt holes throughout room and mildew smell. Dark and dingy. Will not return. We actually left after 2 hours and didn’t stay overnight. Horrible experience.

This isn’t the level of quality typical of a Holiday Inn, which is my preferred choice. When you arrive, it’s clean enough in the lobby, but the ceiling tiles are gross, desk staff was VERY friendly. Check-in was very smooth and easy, except we weren’t told where the pool was, because it was locked, both gates, no pool access, I booked this specific choice over others for the pool. Then I’m given my room, I booked a double queen for 4 large people, I was given a double full, when asked about the accommodation, I’m told that they only have to honor the number the room sleeps and not specifically the size of the bed. Go to the elevators, only one is operable, the other was down the ENTIRE week. 1 of 2 elevators is working, for 5 floors. I get to my room, it’s tiny, furniture is in disrepair, the beds are rock hard, the air conditioning barely cools the room, the bathroom is TINY. Our specific room had a toilet that would only flush if you held the handle, the shower diverter from the tub spigot only half engaged so we had low pressure at the show head while water spewed from the tub faucet. The TV was a paltry old 32” and the sound barely worked on it, the WiFi wouldn’t connect while we were there. The TV remote was sticky. The cleaning staff was also rude, with only one elevator they would hog it, they wouldn’t wait for customers to clear the it, they’d just push in before people got out. It’s the grossest HIE I have ever been in and I wont go back, IHG should be embarrassed.

Preston was great at check in, very friendly, as well as good of at his job. Made us feel welcome. Our room was very basic. TV was old with no menu or guide, so had to scroll through the channels. Most were Spanish, sports or news. I was there with my daughter, so only found 1 channel. AC/heater was very loud. Looked like there was some big damp damage on the ceiling of the bathroom, that they’d just painted over. There was a free breakfast, but wasn’t that great. Coffee was luke warm & watered down, biscuits & gravy was extremely salty, one kind of yogurt & it was Greek yogurt, bagel was as hard as a rock. Hotel was convenient as it was right off the highway, but found out later that it wasn’t the best area. Thank you Preston for being so nice, but would not stay there again & could not recommend it.

The hotel was in a cul-de-sac among other hotels. Felt very safe there. Rooms were clean and breakfast area was spotless. Good variety for breakfast. Staf was courteous and very friendly. Front desk clerk, Preston, was absolutely fantastic. He is extremely patient, friendly, and would go above and beyond for the patrons. Overall stay was excellent and i would certainly stay here again!!!

The staff was very unhelpful and rude. I spoke with a nice man on the phone before we arrived, but he was not there when we arrived. The two women working the front desk were horribly rude. The room was very rundown and falling apart. Literally paint, peeling off the walls in big patches. The toilet barely flushed and the door was locked and we couldn’t enter back into our room after we had gone out to get some dinner. It took half an hour for someone to let us back into our room. Unhelpful when we asked them questions about the area and information about the city also. Breakfast was barely edible. Pancakes were so hard you couldn’t cut through them and there wasn’t enough food when we came out to eat. We had to wait a while for more to be brought out. would NEVER waste money staying here again.

Arriving at the hotel at 1440, we were quickly and rudely advised that no check in’s were being done and that there were numerous people in front of us. I understand we arrived 20 minutes early for a 1500 check in. We went back to our vehicle and sat for approximately 5 minutes, due to the temperature being extremely hot and uncomfortable in the lobby. After returning to the front desk the numerous people that were in the lobby were all checked in. At the front desk again, rudly was dismissed again and was told to wait a second. After we arrived at our room, this was a handicapped room which is not what was purchased as those ammenties were not needed. We were never advised when we checked in that this was a handicapped room. At breakfast, the woman tending to the breakfast items was rude. She was reaching over me while I was retrieving breakfast items. Again, the temperature in the lobby was uncomfortable and hot. We’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times, and after this stay we will not be returning.

It was okay. It was a downgrade from all the other Holiday Inn Express Hotels that I have been to. I was a little disappointed with the staff and breakfast. The staff was non-chalant (not helpful, wasn't very welcoming). The little things at breakfast like "real oatmeal", fresh lemon, and almonds/walnuts/pecans were unavailable. The cleaning staff was excellent. The nonsense of forcefully having to "pull out" the nozzle for the shower to start the shower WAS UNCALLED FOR AND UNACCEPTABLE! I ALMOST BROKE MY NAIL! I travel all the time and I am A Holiday Inn Express Girl! I am disappointed with this property. Shame on them. 😡😡😡 s

This hotel is a great option as an economical hotel for a trip to Wash DC. The Green Line is very close and the best way to get into the city. The staff at this hotel are amazing. They are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also excellent . The lady in charge of it was constantly refilling, cleaning the stations, cleaning the tables, greeting everyone with a smile, and she even threw away our plates when we were finished eating. It was the best complimentary breakfast I have ever experienced in any hotel. The room was very clean. The bathroom was spotless. I am one of those people who check for cleanliness before anything else. If you are planning a trip to see Washington DC and want a cheaper way to travel, I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the area surrounding the hotel. Everything worth seeing was a short 15 to 20 minute drive away. The room was clean and the hotel quiet at night. I loved that the pillows on the beds provided options between soft and firm. Microwaves and mini refrigerators in every room. The laundry room for guests was a bonus so we didn't have to bring dirty clothes back home. This hotel was located in Maryland but close proximity to Virginia and DC. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area but not willing to pay the expensive hotel costs of DC.

Nice hotel close to metro station. Made traveling into DC very easy. Room was in good condition. Only inconvenience was back parking lot keycard to open the door was broken. If I return to DC again and choose to stay somewhere outside downtown area. I would definitely consider this hotel again.

My only downfall was the continental breakfast. It was not good!! It tasted like microwaveable turkey and pork sausage, egg and NO bacon. The fresh coffee and muffins were the best!!!The staff was great, especially the women who cleaned the breakfast area. She was so pleasant and had a good sense of humor. I will return back in the future.

The facility was fine. I was somewhat disappointed that my room was not ready until almost 5pm. Thankfully I was traveling with other family and their room was ready so I could hang out in their room. It did make us later to depart for our event. One other negative. One of the staff members at breakfast was rude to several folks. I realize its a busy area, however the rest of the staff were amazing.

Breakfast is the main reason people choose these hotels and at this place it was terrible. The food was cold, no microwave. The biscuits were hard, the fruit, bananas in particular were rotten. It was not good at all.
