There were hairs in the sink and shower, the treadmill and elliptical in the fitness room were broken, the hot water heater was apparently inoperative, and the "breakfast" was sugary cereals and waffles with no fresh fruit beyond oranges. Not even an apple. On the positive side the desk clerk was polite and professional.

Had an easy in around 9:00pm. Got to our room and noticed a white powdery substance on the nightstand between the two beds. Wiped it up with the less than white wash cloth from the bathroom. No big deal. However, when my daughter started to pull the blanket down and found more white powder we called the front desk. No other rooms were available and no one could come and check the bed or change the bedding until after 11 when someone else came on duty - but we were welcome to change the bedding ourselves if we want. NOPE! my daughter pulled the blanket up over the powder and used her own blankets and pillows over the bedspread. House keepers changed the bedding while we were out the next morning. Found more white powder on the nightstand when we returned (but less than when we’d checked in). Also found two McDonald’s cokes in the fridge (not ours). One light in the bathroom was bright and one barely lit. Out of order sign on soda machine and pool closed until further notice. All of the staff was very amenable but seemed to have their hands tied as to what they could do to help. Wasn’t very happy with the knock on the door at 10:45 this morning asking if we needed to extend our stay (checkout wasn’t until 11).

I stay here twice a year and every time the staff is super friendly, helpful and accommodating! They always give me an extra blanket and make me feel welcome. I appreciate that the parking lot is very well lit, quiet clean rooms are nice to come back too.

The pool is closed for no good reason! The breakfast is at Covid19 standards, someone should inform them Covid is over. Thischotel has the worst cleaning staff I ever encountered, they spent from 9am to 11am on the phone and from 11am to 1pm doing not thier work. I asked for extra towels in English, apparently I used the wrong language...

Trying to be fair, but some big red flags on my recent stay. The good: The beds were very comfortable and I slept well, the rooms were large and spacious, plenty of parking, front desk staff was friendly, convenient location, hotel breakfast was adequate. The bad: My hotel room needed serious updates. There were old stains on the carpet, the desk chair was broken with duct tape holding the upholstery together and the seat raise/lower function did not keep the seat in place, there was a big clump of hair in the bath tub, need to refurbish the entire bathroom. I could hear everything in the neighboring room: a barking dog, the TV, every flush of the toilet, the young kids, the room air conditioner was not powerful enough to cool the entire room so everything felt warm and damp in the room on the first day. The ugly: The elevator was broken, the swimming pool was closed for maintenance, and the soda vending machine was broken. The price was good, but you're getting what you pay for here. The place needs improving and updating. Fix the darn elevator for starters!

I called in advance of my visit to confirm they have a pool. They said yes. Upon arrival, there is a note on the pool door stating it is out of order. I called your customer service. They confirmed it was closed since Covid. This is false advertising and I request a full refund b

Police were in lobby when I arrived for stay due to disturbance in hotel. Trainee was at desk and the other employee was tied up with police. Was told there was housekeeping every other day. Got the card for room but trainee came up to my room because she only gave me card for one night and I was staying 2 nights. Trouble with toilet, curtains wouldn't close so the parking lights lite my room up all night. Pool is closed indefinitely, computer in lobby doesn't work. Reservation staff were not friendly. I would never stay at this hotel again

Hotel smelled like stale cigarettes, stains on pillowcases and sheets.

This hotel will be rprted to the local health department as it has s infested with cockroaches, has black mold in the bathrooms , found mice droppings in the bed on a bed sheet and on the bathroom floor. Floors and carpets are filthy. Yogurt at breakfast was outdated.

Linens were stained and looked dirty. Room had a pungent smell.

Cleanest hotel I’ve been to in Hagerstown. My only issue was the faucet in the tub was broken. The breakfast needed more variety too. Other than that, the place was spotless and quiet. Front desk staff very friendly.

Very very dirty - moldy bathtub, stained carpet, a lot of hair from previous guests in the bathroom (especially the bathtub)...stains everywhere, just dirty, ice machine out of order, pool closed, people hanging out and drinking in the parking lot for several days.

Staff was very friendly beds were decent room was clean. Bathroom was clean, except the shower had a lot of rust on the floor, and the walls had rusty metal coming out of them and the caulking was loaded with mildew dirt and grime.

Dated interior but satisfactory overall. The price was right!

I booked based on reviews and the staff is indeed amazing and helpful and kind, wow!! And the breakfast was wonderful, we had booked an expensive hotel for the first part of the trip and didn't get the breakfast, the cleanliness of the expensive hotel was the only thing that beat this hotel. These rooms we more spacious, beds were comfortable and it was nice having a couch and a bench, plus a desk chair. Only drawbacks were the dated features like old carpet and fixtures. But shower was hot and great pressure. The rooms didn't smell but the hallways kinda did. The bathroom fan was loud evertine you turned on the light so that kind of woke up the whole room of sleepers if you got up early and you couldn't close the room darkening curtains (which street light shining in wasn't pleasant). Overall for the price it was a great value and by far better than the expensive hotel, would love to see comfort inn/suites go to the laminate flooring updates and we will probably choose them more often, it's that old carpet era of hotels it's hard to stay crisp and clean with all the carpet

The front desk young lady was very nice and friendly and helpful. The only downside was the elevator was right next to us so we could hear it going up and down

This hotel gives you a motel experience. There's no reason to pay almost $200 a night when the room smells like mold. The pool is out of order, and the AC in my room has low airflow.

This was possibly the worst check-in experience I have ever had. We booked this hotel because it was pet friendly, and were prepared to pay the pet fee that was advertised on Expedia. I purposely booked a room that was not marked with the “no pets” designation. But upon check-in the desk attendant, Curt, Informed me that there were no pet friendly rooms available, so our prepaid reservation for a pet friendly room was not honored. And while he was civil about it, it was also very clear that he could not care less about our predicament that we had arrived with a dog, having paid for a pet friendly room, only to find that there weren’t any. When I pointed this out, Curt simply said that it was our fault because we had booked through Expedia and not through the hotel’s own website. He kept emphasizing again and again that the hotel was not responsible for anything that happened with a reservation on a third-party site. He also threw in that I should have known better, apparently, because this is such a common problem with Expedia and other third-party sites. I asked why, if it was such a common problem, the problem had not been corrected? For which he had no answer. I will not say he was rude, but that almost made his complete lack of caring worse. It was a restrained form of contempt for the customer. So our dog spent the night in the car, with us getting up every couple of hours to check on him and make sure he was OK. Thank heavens it was temperate weather.

Front desk staff seemed inconvenienced by me needing to check in. She didn't seem to know what she was doing & took long to work the system. She answered the phone, it was a co-worker & had a personal conversation while I stood there waiting. Room was average, mattress needed to be replaced with one side having zero support.

Check in was a breez, I'm a platnuim member and was recognized as such, which is always a plus, great hotel, great staff..

The hotel is clean. Close to many restaurants and the highway. Very nice individuals working there. It was packed and relatively chill. Beds are comfy. Shower was scorching hot. Breakfast was basic and ok. Stayed on the first floor near the end of the hall near side door. You couldn’t hear people coming in or out. I would stay there again. Check out the Crystal grottoes caverns!!

Just a great place to stay right on the outskirts of Hagerstown and right off the highway. My room was spacious and clean and cool. Everything worked, including all the lamps. I loved the mirror in the bathroom with excellent lighting for shaving and prepping. Friendly staff at the front desk as well. I would stay again and plan to!

Beds were comfortable and were clean although the room didn't smell very fresh, but not unbearable or anything. The breakfast could have improved, the ceral was stale and the waffle mix was pretty much empty but there were quite a few people. I dont want to complain but if there was any area for improvement, this is where it would have been appreciated
