This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at the Grand during an Ocean City visit. I love the location—on the boardwalk making restaurants and beach just a short distance away. I appreciate that it’s not right in the middle of everything so it’s still slightly quieter than some of the other boardwalk hotels. Indoor and outdoor pools are great options. We always stay in an oceanfront suite so fresh air, sunrises/sunsets, and the occasional dolphin sightings are an added bonus. Highly recommend for families.

The front desk staff is outstanding, friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping does a great job. The room was wonderful without carpet. The view was perfect. Bed was comfortable. Hotel is convenient right at the boardwalk. Only problem we has was parking. Oversized vehicle couldn't fit in garage, not permitted on street. Was told we could have a 15 minute spot but there was always a small car there that never left. They offered a grassy spot but it was sketchy and unlit. They really tried to help but they could only do so much. The Grand needs to do a MUCH better job having guests with cars use the garage NOT the only spaces oversized vehicles can fit in. We couldn't find a spot one night at 11 pm, so we awkwardly had to ask the nice desk manager at The Days Inn next door if we could buy a parking pass to their lot. They kindly issued us one. We have been coming here since 2000 but now we have a large vehicle and I don't know if I want the stress of not being able to park.

We had a great get away. The hotel was clean, quiet and a great value for Ocean City in the off season. The indoor pool was a great plus. I was surprised that the exercise room was so small for the size of the hotel. However, having access to the boardwalk was a plus for making things real walkable.

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and overall, I really enjoyed it! However, I was disappointed with the indoor pool during this visit. Since the weather wasn’t great, I was hoping the indoor pool would be a nice alternative, but unfortunately, it wasn’t. The chlorine levels were overwhelmingly high, making it unpleasant to spend any time there. I really hope it’s better next time, as I’d love to fully enjoy all the amenities this hotel has to offer.

The hotel staff was very attentive, the hotel itself was clean, and the amenities were nice. We loved the pool and the outside bar (shout out to Chris!). Drinks were good. Hotel was quiet and the view was great from our oceanview room. LOVED the garage, never moved the car. The only negative we had for the whole trip was when we went to the indoor pool. It was extremely cloudy and there was a lot of dark stuff swirling around the bottom. We told the front desk when we checked out, and they were upset and said maintenance was up there every day. I dont know what happened, but we didnt stay in it and didnt go back to it. We'll be back though.

I stayed at this hotel on June 7-8 2025. The front desk receptionist was very pleasant, but the hotel is very dated the and the pillow cases had blood stains on 2 of the pillows! First and last time staying at this hotel! The neighbors had loud music in until 3am and smell marijuana and cigarettes smell seeping through the connected doors!!!! tried to call down to the front desk, a few times and no answer so I was displeased with this hotel!!! There was truly nothing Grand about this hotel. They really need to remodel and update!!!

Disgusting. Absoutely filthy. Hard to walk the halls with the smell of mold and mildew. Carpets were particularly gross. Nothing has been cleaned in a long time. Parking garage is rough. Avoid at all costs. Rating is incredibly deceiving. Will be contacting Expedia about the experience.

The card key constantly mulfunction, we had to change it a few times per day. Also, the carpet inside the guest room is super dirty. The outside chair as well. This hotel needs to be upgraded.

Entry door had to be bullied to open. It looked as if there may have been a fight in the room by the entry door as there were stains on the carpet, dents in the wall and what looked like blood on the wall as well. I had to leave the balcony door open as it took all of my strength to open it. It must have had a broken runner wheel as it scraped along the bottom instead of rolling. Every area including the room was not very clean at all.

Proximity to the beach and having an indoor and outdoor pool was incredible. The gym could use some dumbbells and the bathroom in the room didn’t have a working exhaust fan. The AC was also very loud anytime it kicked on. Overall, the pros outweighed the cons and we would stay again.

The location and layout of this hotel is great with its proximity to the boardwalk. The partial ocean front room we stayed in was huge and offered views of the ocean, city, and bay. We were able to see all the way to the inlet! Probably the best views we’ve had in our 12+ years of visiting OCMD. The room itself however is dated and is in great need of an overhaul. The carpet is old and just feels dirty and even though the room was spacious, the bathroom door barely clears the toilet. Not sure I’d stay here again unless the rooms are updated at least enough to feel clean.

Our stay was great. Parking was simple, beds were comfortable, everything was decently clean, the balcony was large and we had a beautiful view. I paid for the city view since it was cheaper but we ended up getting an end room that had a view of the bay, city, and ocean all at once. It was beautiful! It’s about a 30-40 minute walk from the beginning of the boardwalk so I wish it was a bit closer. We were walking back and forth a lot.

The staff at Front desk, especially Jennifer, are very unpleasant. A simple question of “where do i turn in my keys” and you get an eye roll. She makes you as a guest feel like a complete inconvenience. The building, although smoke free, smells of weed throughout halls and in our room. The coffee place is 24 hours however, when i was there and waited 10 mins, never saw a person there working.

Kyle checked me in. He was very knowledgeable. He offered me multiple parking passes. Which was a great help. My son stayed at another hotel and he would check in on me. He said he may book next year with The Grand. We watched the parade of custom antique cars from our balcony. I had a great view. The toilet in the room wouldn’t flush and I called the front desk and they sent someone up to fix the problem. The power went out and the hotel went dark for a short time but no fault of their own. It was the power company working out on the road. I got a Great deal through Expedia.

This was our 40th Anniversary and the front desk gifted my wife and me a cold bottle of Champagne. The hotel offers convenient, easy parking, front desk staff very nice. Kyle was a standout. Very enjoyable stay.

We stayed in OC many times. This hotel is way nicer than most of the other options. I would definitely recommed it and stay here again. The hotel had places to eat but there werent many shops or resturants nearby to walk to. Although, It is nicer to stay in this area than by the bussier part of the boardwalk. Staff was great. Our tv was broke and they came to replace it immediately. I will say the balcony was different. You can see everyone out on their balcony. Kind of awkward when you wanted to sit outside and neighbor was out on their balcony also. But, we were not in the room often for it to be an issuse. My family love it and said it looked like the best hotel there!

I went to Ocean City for the first time with my son. I have been staying in Manassas Virginia and I wanted to go to the ocean and it was only 3 hours to get there. It was beautiful and the boardwalk was very cool and people were great. The hotel was beach front with ocean view nice clean rooms with kitchenette.

Beautiful ocean front hotel right on Ocean City’s boardwalk. Direct ocean view and listening to the roar of the waves is melodic. This hotel has multiple restaurants and bars and even a 24 hour coffee and pastry shop. Easy free parking and central to all things in Ocean City this is a must stay.

Great location if you are traveling with little ones and you want more quiet then south end of the boardwalk where the rides and games are. 1.1 miles to the games and rides. Walkable on the boardwalk. Kids loved it we loved it for being the 1st time. The hotel was clean, a little outdated but still worth staying as we had a great time. We used the pool in the morning then it would get super crowded so we went to the beach. The hotel has a 24/7 cafe, restaurant, pizzeria, stores right in the hotel. It is also clean, quiet, and nice view of the ocean even in a side room.

Steps from the beach on the north end of the boardwalk, so it was in a quieter area, which I appreciated. We ate breakfast there every morning and it was amazing. The pool was great.

The stay at the hotel was very comfortable. It was clean and location was perfectly situated. How ever we had breakfast at hotel one time and i would rate it a 5 out of 10 the breakfast was on the could side.eggs potatoes and bacon . Potatoes kind of to dark for my taste.eggs barely warm.
