This hotel was not good. The desk staff was nice, but the rest was bad. There was a pervasive smell of pot everywhere—inside and out. The ice/vending room was so overwhelming, I had to abandon my attempt to get ice. The room seemed clean at first glance, but when you looked at things closely, not so much. The mattress was so stained you could see the stains though the sheets. The sheets were stained. The towels were stained. The water was yellow (which may be Kalamazoo, not the hotel). I only had my room cleaned once and they didn’t actually do much. As far as I could tell, they emptied the trash. They didn’t make the bed, they didn’t give me more towels. Really an unsatisfactory experience.

Rooms were clean and updated no fridge or microwave and no hand towels or washcloths and fire alarm went off at 230 am and then again at 530 both occurrences we were told faulty equipment and according to people u talk with at the neighboring. Restaurant that is not an uncommon thing.

I arrived at Red Roof Inn and the staff was fantastic they were super friendly and very concise in everything I needed to know. That being said that's where the positive experience ends, the outside was filled with drug users actively smoking pot and doing more than that, there were busted bottles all over the place. And that's before even getting in the room. Upon entering the room I noticed that the floor sounded like it was making a scratching noise that's because there was sand and dust all over it and then upon trying to take a shower I realized that there was mold and a slimy film all over the shower curtain. The towels were Staind as were the bed sheets. Honestly if it wasn't for the fact that it was so inexpensive and I needed a place to crash as I was on my way to Toronto I would have left. It was disgusting and I feel dirty here now then before I took a shower.

This is a cheap motel. Expect to get what you pay for. THE BAD This whole place is run down. The curtain in my room was torn. The bathroom door had a hole in it, but not all the way through. The edges of the furniture were battered. The sheets had stains. The sink faucet wasn't fully attached, so it flopped around in its hole. The faucet handle in the shower was loose. I stayed in August, and the weather was humid, so everything in the room felt a little damp when I arrived. The floors were dirty. One morning I got a little water on the floor from the shower and I used the white floor mat to wipe it up. The mat was filthy afterward. On another morning I wore a new pair of white socks while I got ready to leave. They were stained brown on the bottom afterward. They will never look new again. The spring mattress was old, but decent. THE GOOD The place isn't terrible if you just want a cheap place to crash. The shower was hot and the water pressure was excellent. The guy at the front desk who checked me in was great. If you are traveling with unruly children, then maybe you don't want to worry about them bumping into things or getting things dirty. RECOMMENDATION If I come through this town again, I will stay at a nicer place. I am willing to pay for things to be a little cleaner and nicer. But if you're traveling cheap, this place will meet your basic needs.

The staff was nice, my room was changed due to the structural damage to the bathroom. Then the second room was dirty. The sheets and bed were stained. I have been driving from Florida and didn’t expect this. I’ve stayed at a red roof before and my experience was amazing. Unfortunately this time it wasn’t. From someone who’s withered from traveling. Very disappointing and sad. I had to sleep in my car at a truck stop.

So so dirty someone left socks behind the door and they were still there after they clean the room before our arrival, blood and burn hole in all the sheets and blankets, went to the front to ask for different ones and front desk guy said it’s a red roof inn what you expect. Also I know at least two neighbors live there full time which is just terrible

The entire place smelled awful. Had to sign a waiver about smoking yet the entire place wreaked of smoke. My entire bag of clothing including the bag will have to be washed due to the smell of this place. The walls looked like they were falling apart. Nothing appeared clean including the linens. I would never suggest this place to anyone.

This is the third time I have stayed at this location. I thought maybe it was just by random chance of the noise level the 1st 2 times. The room next to me once again with yelling kids and dad and they had to have their tv volume up to where I could hear it as though it were in my own room until past 3 in the morning. Tried to call the front desk and even the phone in my room didn't work. Their price was relatively good compared to other locations near by but next time I am just going to have to pay more somewhere else.

For the price we paid of $71 a night for a double bed it was ok. There were stains and holes in the sheets and blankets but there were NO bugs. Very noisy in the mornings with people leaving at 5am with the walls being so thin. Our light sensor was broken so our light came on automatically every hour during the night. There are people tweaking out in the parking lot. Day and night. Again ok for the price but be cautious.

The location was very close to an event i was attending for my grandson. The price was reasonable. The slip stripes in the bathtub , might need replacing. My husband and i noticed the tub was a bit slippery. Also 2 or 3 of the stations you offered on the tv were very pixilated so you couldn't watch the programs. Not sure if it was the stations or service. Might check on that.

When we arrived, the gentleman at the front desk was not around for a couple minutes which is fine and to be expected, but upon his approaching the desk, he was anything but friendly or cordial: not a hello, nothing, fine, possibly a bad day, so I got the key and went on my way, finding what seemed like a moderately clean room until we were there for a while, then I saw the FILTHY floors which turned my husbands socks BLACK, I also cleaned up some dead bugs on the air conditioning unit, there is also a fair amount of dust everywhere. Plus, upon getting out of the tub, my husband slipped, falling against the side and also hitting his head on the toilet because of the bad no slip strips in the tub. To end this trip, upon checkout, the same gentleman asked how tall I am-I am short, 4’7”-and then he actually had the nerve to ask if I was a “little person”! I was VERY insulted and surprised at this thoughtless question. No, I am NOT a “little person, and to be ask d such a question is quite rude and demeaning. Train this unthinking, and RUDE man to be a bit more personable when dealing with the public!!! At first, we thought this would be a good spot to stay when visiting our children, but considering all this, we will NOT be back!

While cost effective at less than $100, this place was a little dicey. Some unique characters hanging around and someone’s dog let loose around midnight, barking for about 45 minutes. Beds were okay. AC was great. If you’re just passing through it’s a fair place to stay

I’ve never written a review before I’m not that person but felt others should know what they will be getting. Stayed in room 228. Walls and floor were filthy do not take off your shoes. Towels were stained up like cleaning rags. Shower curtain was dirty and stained up. No coffee in the lobby. I felt afraid of bringing bugs home. We were unable to get another room anywhere else. Never again will we stay.
